The judge, who ordered the company to change its name to another distinct name without the use of the word, “Naira,” also gave an order of perpetual injunction restraining the firm from parading itself as the registered proprietor of the trademark “eNaira.”

This judgement can affect "Nairaland", Naira Marley too. And any registered name with Naira in it.
I suppose Raheem Sterling, Creflo Dollar should be worried too?

You just need to go to these countries and observe.

Ofunaofu:
The APC under Tinubu is no longer the party envisioned by its founding fathers; it now operates a baba sope patronage syndicate fused with drug cartel-style politics
APC came into being using voters intimidation and suppression tactics, and can only remain in power using same. All these drama are nothing compare to what's coming in the general election.

You will not see them APC supporters commenting regarding all these their fraudulent primary elections. As if they are comfortable with it. And they expect a good leader to come out of these kind of charade.

Never use this expression: 'I flashed her' or 'I flashed him' when you find yourself in a country where standard English is spoken. Examples are the United Kingdom, US, Australia, Canada, etc.

REASON: It might be a slang for saying you called someone and hang up quickly for them to call you back in Nigeria, but in these countries, it means to show someone your unclothedness or nude, which is a very serious crime

WHAT TO SAY INSTEAD: The standard English for that expression is 'I gave him or her a missed call' or 'I gave him or her a quick ring'.

I hope you have learnt something today?
Calm down. I schooled in the UK. And on many occasions our tutors would tell us we speak better English than them. They speak horrible slangs and grammar in those countries than us.

I will really love to see Atiku step down for Amaechi really. I want to see all southern contest. Let them put their popularity’s to contest and let’s see.

PBAT
GEJ
Obi
Makinde
Amaechi.

I want to see something.
The problem with Southern contest is that the unwritten agreement is not constitution backed and any smart politicians in the North can simply put a spanner in it.

If statistics is anything to go by, The current permutation appears to favour Atiku. Popularity contest and rigging capacity may prove otherwise to be the decider.

Peter Obi Arrives NDC National Secretariat for Presidential Screening

Make una go collect una PVC. You will be surprised that most of the people commenting and yearning for change don't even have voters card.

You will be shocked how many voters card these thieving politicians have bought to mass rig the election.

We need to do beyond social media rabbling. This is what we did in 2023 yet they rigged it using 'unexplained glitches".

We must make it overwhelmingly difficult for the enemies to rig, to intimidate and to suppress. One sure way to do this is to ensure every eligible Nigerians have their voters card ready to vote on election day.

Another area we must be willing to be patriotic is to volunteer to be party polling agent even if there's no money to be paid for it. Otherwise, we will still have parties not represented at the polling units. This was one of the argument used against LP and other parties in the last presidential election tribunal.

We Obidients must do more than conquering the social media space this time. Go and get your voters card, canvas, campaign, show up on election day, don't be intimidated, don't let them suppress you, vote and ensure your vote is counted and recorded properly in the form EC8, stand gidigba and ensure the result is transmitted to IREV - Don't even agree that there's no network to transmit. Go to the Irev portal and ensure the transmitted result is actually the one that's recorded. We must follow everything bumper to fender this time. Even if it's raining brimstone or the heat scorching like hell fire on that day, I repeat we must stay gidigba all through to prevent those that wants to "snatch, grab and run away" with our efforts.

The future of this country lies in our hands.

You are wasting your time pitying them. Do you think Nigerians themselves want a better Nigeria?

You see how APC primary vote counting is going. 1, 2, 5, 10, 100, 101, 102, 120, 121, 200! The people already know the country is a cruise. A Country of Particular Concern.

Willy2025:
They have sold only 40 forms so far mainly in Abuja and Lagos. Nobody wants to have anything to do with the party even in Peter Obi's Anambra and Seriake Dickson' Bayelsa. People avoid the party like a plague because they already see it as a party of some certain region, whose supporters are very toxic and insult is their trademark. How is Peter going to win a single local government will be a miracle worth studying.

Predictor3:
But you know the ibos are voting along ethnic lines. Should I put up for you the thread where the Anambra people were cursing obi when he was governor? His own people that know him well
There are tribalized bigots in every region. So also we have de-tribalized people in every region.

It's that simple. Even Obi, there are people that don't like him in his own village, town and state. That's just democracy.

Your case is even worse.
I am from the north and have never seen people who betray their own like your people.

Ever since my first year in the university, I have always observed this constant and singular trend with your people and for that reason, I always avoid them till this day.

What you call detribalised is actually self betrayal

It amazed me so much that a Yoruba person will vote an Obi ahead of Tinubu when it was clear that Tinubu was the better candidate. Obi was a colossal failure in Anambra and I understand why Igbos want him but the Yorubas supporting him was not comprehensible for other regions to understand.
The honest question you should ask is " why would his own people not want him"? As an Northerner that you are, would you just vote a candidate simply because he's a Northerner? That's the point. You can't know a man more than his own kith and kin. We know him better, that's why we didn't vote for him. Yoruba's don't vote along tribal lines .

You insult others and when they tell you to stop insulting others but your only defence is that you don't see it as insult as long as you got whatever you wanted.

Do you now see why you people will continue to have problems with others in Nigeria
When you say "you people", I don't know who exactly you're referring to. If you must know, I am a Yoruba man.

What I've been saying in case you don't understand me is that, it was Yoruba that made Obi win Lagos, unless you think Igbos are more than Yoruba in Lagos.

That's exactly my point. It was us the Yoruba's that voted Obi. There are more de-tribalized Yorubas than you may imagine. We just want good governance, even if the person comes from Kutiwenji, Pankshin or Idanre.

Yoruba people voted Obi in Lagos yet Igbos have been using that same win to insult all Yorubas since 2023
We don't see it as insult when what we wanted was achieved. Or are you by any chance saying the Igbos are more than the Yorubas in Lagos?
