fasho01:As it doesn't fit into your expectations. How many more must be said for you to smell the coffee? |
Even with all the taxes and subsidies cut, increase in prices of goods and services, praises from IMF of Tinubu's reforms, GDP increase, and all his revenue target? Man is in deep shock. APC living in denial. |
I will open the borders and allow food to flood the nation. This will also cut down the steep prices of food. I will reduce the burden of numerous taxes borne by the masses. I shall half the enormous salaries of political office holders. i shall make all my appointments reflect the true spirit of federal character. I shall grant licences to electricity distributors to encourage healthy competition. I shall deploy troops to troubled hotspots of banditry to restore peace and hope while fostering partnership between the armed forces and members of the local communities nationwide to quell insurgency. I shall recommend new Supreme Court judges who have had a history of making unbiased judgment I shall make education cheaper at the tertiary level and free at the primary and secondary levels. I shall see to it that a law penalizing corrupt office holders with life imprisonment is enacted I shall also see to it that punishing false rape accusers with the same punishment as a guilty rapist becomes law I will give women greater participation in nation building and encourage projects geared towards their empowerment. I shall encourage small and large scale bussinesses by granting them tax reliefs to increase employment opportunities |
cutecommend:I am sorry to disagree with you, brother, but those things you mentioned are formulas for holiness. They make holiness seem like a very distant achievement that is reserved for a select few super Christians. Holiness is something that is within the reach of anyone and it is simply this — obeying the Word of God. There is nothing else to it. Just obey the commands of God, and His greatest commandment is to Him with all our heart and soul and to love one another. Do that and you are okay. Holiness and love for God and others are one and the same. |
LagosOrigin:"Stripper" is a strong word. I disagree with her choice of the 'naked dress' she wore for her birthday photoshoot although it was still ironically 'modest'. Not sugarcoating anything, that dressing was in moral bad taste as it would elicit lust from people who didn't look closer to find it is just a skin-coloured lining beneath the netting. She would do well to give serious thought to her choice of outfit in the future befitting her faith as Christ-like and as a leader knowing that some ladies under her ministry would likely emulate whatever she does. I saw that but chose not to talk about it. I have only focused on her struggles and losses as a human being. She needs prayers, not name-calling. Christ is our Advocate. He sees all our wrongs, our poor choices, our lapses, but He speaks in our favour to the Father against the devil's accusations against us. I choose to toe the same path. May the good Lord bless pastor Tolu with peace and wisdom so as to diligently lead the flock under her care. |
I admire pastor Tolu's resilience, dedication, and hardwork as a pastor. She has been through so much losses over the years that can cage any weaker person in depression for a long time. May the Lord strengthen her, encourage her, and help her where she needs it especially as her marriage has also suffered another blow from the devil. |
This is such a sad and unjust end to a young and promising chap with bright future ahead of him. God, please teach us to number our days. May his soul rest in perfect peace and his killers face justice here or in the heteafter. |
Donsheddy:No be today things na. Forex no be anybody mate. |
Meklex:Your saying that two years is a long time tells me you are in so much hurry to press the buy or sell button, receive a margin call, get frustrated, then conclude that forex trading is scam. Already, the patience needed to trade profitably is something you do not clearly possess. If you had a quicker way to learn and earn you wouldn't be here asking. There is no shortcut to learning and mastery. I wish you good luck on your trading journey. |
The problems of Nigerians are their leaders and Nigerians. They will not make a second hesitation in driving up prices to enrich themselves when they see the opportunity especially in cases of economic decline and artificially injected scarcity. |
Mubiola360:Numbers 1 and 2 are the same. Let me address that. The consumption of fuel dropped from 16% in June to 28% in August/September. The number has increased significantly. Yea, no more fuel scarcity as its mountainous price cannot be matched by more than half the population of Nigeria. Many businesses that thrived on fuel consumption have had to shut down owing to low patronage. The ones that haven't are struggling to breakeven. The few still operating profitably like filling stations have marked a sharp decline in patronage. Introduction of CNG. Now you shoot yourself on the foot defending nonsense. CNG came about as a result of the unavailability of fuel for Nigerians because of its increased costs. In a sane economy especially one endowed with crude oil is it not madness that the citizens of the country are made to buy fuel at an exorbitant amount? Wait, it gets better. You mentioned CNG as one of Tinubu's positives but you are mum on the provision of cng refuelling stations. Is this not selective delusion? Besides, how much does it take to convert a petrol-powered vehicle to run on CNG? About more than half a million to more than a million naira. Who can afford that when they cannot afford petrol? Tinubu's government does not help you with a dime to make the switch which is more expensive than procuring expensive petrol. CNG as a positive...you must really be joking. Introducing pavement concrete roads across the Federation. I acknowledge he has done that and it is welcome development. However, it is paltry in the light of the expectations resting on his shoulders as leader. There is not an administration without an innovation. Moreover, there is nothing exceptional in this regard as to call attention to itself because it is only refining what is already available, not providing what was absent or lacking. Opening up new route for faster travel time from Lagos to calabar 13hr to 5 hrs when completed. Until it is completed brush that aside as achievement as projects can be left abandoned midway to completion. Disappearance of ASUU strike. The same ASUU that gave the federal government 14 days ultimatum on September 18 that should expire on October 2nd or 3rd depending on whether 1st of October is regarded as one of the days or not. Today is the 1st of October. Why do you Tinubu supporters keep lying boldly like he does as an international liar? Introduction of Nelfund. A very rare laudable feat of his administration. You will agree with me than when employment opportunities have been driven away through his fiscal policies by which many companies have folded how can the beneficiaries of the loan act repay their loans? Abolishment of fuel subsidy scam. You really must hate yourself as that is the only conclusion I can reach over your persistent need to keep shooting yourself on the foot. The most notable fuel subsidy scam in the history of Nigeria was carried out by APC. Fuel subsidy was removed yet it was kept secretly, however, the effects of the subsidy removal have been used to cash out of the ignorance of Nigerians. https://businessday.ng/news/article/data-exposes-fgs-insincere-denial-of-secret-petrol-subsidy/ Improvement in electricity. I will not even go into any details on this as any toddler can see through your ill-constructed lies Tax Reforms. What about it? Why are you silent on how it is a positive of Tinubu's administration? The excessive taxation of resources, goods and services saddling unbearable living expenses on the masses struggling to survive daily is a positive to you? Do you lose your empathy and reasoning when you become an APC supporter? APC supporters need to be studied on how perception is clouded and the moral engine collapses as a result of supporting corruption. I will just tell you - try harder to deserve your 30k. |
helinues:There is no progress made when democracy is hijacked. We have a civilian dictator as president who does not consider the far-reaching consequences of his policies as long as they suit his purposes, not that of the welfare of the masses. This is what dictators do. They stifle progress with their bigot infested policies and appointments. |
Racoon:Funny, these are the same areas I highlighted to one APC supporter a while ago where Tinubu's failure is over-extended; hyperinflation, costs of living, electricity, education, security, banking services, transportation. The question now is why APC members and supporters have chosen to seek shelter in denial in the face of their glaring incompetence |
Reno Omokri listed anti-people positives under Tinubu's administration which is why he expertly avoided incuding costs of living, purchasing power parity, domestic and local innovations that have eased the rising costs of living, the relentless brain drain Nigeria has suffered especially in 2024 and 2025 owing to the desire for greener pastures and security. With the so-called positives he listed the odious endless borrowing of the federal government testifies otherwise. BATs will always remain blind. |
anonimi:It is the nature of blind bats to always live in denial. With his open admission of his administration's inefficiency in tackling challenges in addition to compounding them someone is still talking about positives in a crumbling economy. |
BadEnglish:Positives that include hyperinflation, the loss and shutdown of foreign investment companies as well as local factories and companies, the extreme widening of the gap between the rich and the poor, the increased costs of living, house rent crisis with landlords skyrocketing house rents, the obnoxious hike in prices in the following fields or sectors: electricity, transportation, banking services, education. Where are the positives in a starving population that is made to pay taxes for everything they depend upon? You go just dey yarn cow dung about positives wey you no fit point finger. Quote this statement and list the positives as I have easily listed the failures of APC. |
geoworldedu:Hahahaha. 🤣😂🤣😂😅😂🤣. |
atobs4real:I hope this is not hearing deficiency on your part when he clearly said the APC has fulfilled the promise of change which includes, but not limited to, making the naira equal to the dollar. If that is so, what food prices are you waiting to come down from heaven? |
helinues:Is this the helinues I know or has his nairaland account been hacked? Please someone verify. 😂😂😂 |
Sapiosexuality:Of course, he is very much aware of his failure, but do you expect him to openly admit his failure? That is the reason he has chosen to live in denial. |
Chelsea to come out victorious. 14 more characters needed |
AlwaysPositive:😂 |
ogolemati:Na the same way T-Pain aka firelord Ozai the greatest taxmaster of Africa bin dey talk dat time, "Let the poor breathe". Na im come do the worst pass the worst of the worst. Na their format, no be today. En own fit even worse pass Tinubulation. |
Nigeria is under the siege of corruption and bigotry. This is why however hard we try the probability of getting it right is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Sommie paid the price of a failed country through no fault of her own. May she rest in perfect peace. |
KingDashx:As if she chose to end her life. She (justifiably) panicked and tried to escape the only way she knew. The same thing happened at the Afriland building that was engulfed in flames had people not been there with mattress to cushion their fall. One still ended up breaking his legs. |
In other words, bandits, contract killers, drug pushers, scam artists, kidnappers, body parts dealers and the endless list of condemnable means of earning money are all welcome to pay taxes and widen the scope of their activities under Tinubu's new income tax laws. Is this man (along with his followers) okay like this? |
Bwanasaraw:Islamist sympathisers will call you an infidel for defending yourself against their bloody attacks. |
I have a friend whose family reside in Kogi state. I pray for their safety in this troubled times of insecurity. |
There are single fathers as much as there are single mothers, yet they are ignored because society belittles their efforts by assuming they are well able to cope with the challenges as men. This is a disguised form of entitlement mentality. Single parents also includes single fathers, not just mothers. Just be careful who you allow into your life as a partner to avoid situations like this. |
This is the umpteenth time they are issuing the same ban |
blackman007:Yeah. I think it is. |
blackman007:It should still be the GBP symbol or code as you know it. Have you made any search for it on platforms like Tradingview, or Netdania, or other more advanced platforms compared to metatrader? |
