When I said Tinubu continued the wicked and evil practice of granting souless and heartless murderers pardon calling them repentant and rehabilitated terrorists begun under the wickedest man himself, buried Buhari with Tinubu surpassing his wickedness legacy, a blind APC supporter (all of them are blind) was asking me a rhetorical question when Tinubu had done that since he took office. As usual he is blind to this news.

There seems to be a recent global pandemic of porn actresses suddenly and unexpectedly kicking the bucket. I hope the ones still alive take a cue from the recent happenings and leave that satan-supervised industry.

Please (even though I know my appeal with fall on deaf ears too numerous to count in this forum), approach this issue with logic and without prejudice to the people involved.

My wife and I are duly blessed with a son who is in his basic 5 now. Also, we decided to get the daughter of one of my cousin to stay with us. She is one of 7 children. So I wanted to help raise a CHIMAMANDA.

As my rule, every child of same age under my room attends the same school and calls us Dad & Mum. The school part didn't quite seat well with my wife, who had a different opinion, but I prevailed anyway. Because na me dey pay school fees.

The girl is a year older than my son, but due to the level of education at the village before she came over, we made her be in the same class as my son. She met my son in primary 2. Now they are both in basic 5.

A shocker happened: This girl keeps coming up in the class, while my son keeps running away from the top. We've tried extra lessons, even tried changing schools. Now it looks as if the girl is better suited for school than my boy. She reads, spells and memorizes things too marvellous. I bought a dictionary cos of that.

I even buy gifts for her (for coming top) more than I do for my boy, to make him sit up, but my pikin nor send me o. Guy use cry & Woman power make me buy am bicycle. 😁

I would think he's being a spoilt boy, who believes daddy & mommy is there, I don't really know. But I am hopeful.

Now, my major issue is my heavily pregnant wife. She wants the girl to be changed/enrolled at a different school. In her defence, she wants her to be available to help her take care of things. The kid's school close by 3pm. She suggest government school that close earlier. I see sense in what she said but I feel like I'll be unfair to this young girl.

When I tried to have a healthy debate on the idea. Na so madam start to dey talk plenty tins wey I nor fit type.
I have accepted to do her wish from September for peace.

Please, do you see another way I could avoid problems?

If it was her niece or nephew you were training in school would she have made this same suggestion? You know the answer.

I am afraid for the welfare of that child in your hands (not your wife's hands because she was handed to you, not your wife). Your wife wants to transform a brilliant young child into a househelp so that she would have little or no time for studies with the intention to make her grades look something like your son's or worse, and you justify it by saying for peace to reign. If you, as a man, are ready to accede to your wife's request then the future of that child looks bleak except God intervenes.

Get your wife a househelp. Let that girl's little star continue to grow and shine even if it outshines your son's. You have been unbiased in giving both equal footing and encouragement. Why stop now?

Who goes for medical tourism abroad when there are hospitals here, wasting away foreign currencies? Who are the ones who would rather have their children school overseas when there are schools here? Very nice points. He is urging Nigerians to patronise Nigerian goods and services to boost the naira implying blame on Nigerians for the decline of the currency but he is selectively deaf and blind to the reckless spending of the politicians on foreign goods and services. I observed the guy does not think through something before expressing it.

Tinubu and his wife have spent hundreds of millions of dollars, hundreds of billions if not trillions of naira in foreign trips, donations, personal expenses like acquiring a jet, foreign trips, foreign medical expenses, bribing politicians, acquiring tasteful cars, building houses for their political supporters who hold offices, the monetary gifts to the super falcons, and much more. Zero accountability. How many individual Nigerians can match that? Tinubu has single handedly secured loans that will make you and your generations to come debtors to the tune of millions and millions of naira. Do you share in the debt of any of the 250 million Nigerians?

The problem with you lot is that you've made the role of your ''leaders'' so paramount in your lives that there is no room for your own brains to think.

Coming from the same person that said people should not expect magic from Tinubu. Since the time of the late Buhari till now that the borders have been closed forcing Nigerians to patronise locally made goods and services how has it strengthened the naira? Imported goods are more expensive today in case you have been living under a rock. The naira continues its relentless decline.

You all have internet and social media. Why don't you use it for something fruitful?

Instead of looking for ''our leaders'' to blame for naira value, why not also be ''leaders'' and start a social media campaign to elevate indigenous hairstyles, and ditch Brazilian hair imports and imported bleaching creams?

Or promote indigenous fashion like light Dashiki over jeans and t-shirts?

Even worse, you ignore the extreme economic hardship brought upon Nigerians by your clueless president by which many businesses have inevitably shut down operations. How many average Nigerians don Brazillian hairstyles today? Are you ignorant of the fact that there are Nigerian companies that produce locally made jeans wears? Do you wear dashiki to a job interview or to ride commercial motorcycle? Why not channel your energy towards advocating for stable power supply, eradicating touts on the streets who are entitled to a fraction of someone's daily income, tax-friendly policies to encourage small businesses?

These are mindset adjustments that can generate millions of new jobs and raise the Naira value, virtually overnight.

But no. Tinubu must magically raise the Naira value for you while you cover yourself in imports.

Again, your predilection to erroneous argument is telling. No matter how much Nigerians patronise locally made products the value of the naira does not rest in their hands. It is a product of the policies of the leaders and the central bank. Stop putting the responsibility of the naira's value on Nigerians. What is then the function of the central bank? Millions of Nigerians are not educated so why should they be blamed for the collapse of the naira while your central bank governor and your president escape blame?

MissOpe, making a connection between marital obligation being proportional to financial provision places your union in the category of transactional relationship. It is his duty to provide for you and your kids whether you make your money or not. If he is honest, faithful, and responsible but falling short of his duty to be a provider probably owing to the worsening economic landscape you should better understand his plight more than anyone. It means he is not fulfilling his part owing to circumstances beyond his control. Can you honestly say that about your body? The only exception is where you imply negligence.

This isn't only limited to marriage but to all relationships in general....people form ideas on belief systems passed down from ancestral generations, some do from religious point of views and once someone doesn't believe nor agreee to it, there's always an issue, that exactly is what play out btw partners, btw countries, btw govt and the masses.....It is what it is...

I guess psychological compatibility is at the heart of the issue in this case of yours and is also applicable to other belief systems you mentioned. I understand your refusal to match your husband's sexual drive because I know there are many ladies built like you who don't relish the idea of regular sexual activity with their spouse. Pushing your husband into the arms of another woman may be detrimental to him and his mental wellbeing in ways you may not have anticipated. To avoid this, why not try and have a common ground where you both will have to compromise on your values where you may come up with creative ways to satisfy his sexual appetite without having to yield entirely to him so that the both of you are happy and get something from the experience? He loves you as you love him. He should be fine with the arrangement where he gets a reasonable satisfaction of his desire rather than get nothing in the process. This should tame his desire till when you are ready to fully give in to him. Not telling you what to do...no...never, just making a suggestion that may help avoid the drama that may attend keeping a side chic.
