RomanceRe: Lady Confronts Boyfriend, Demands Compensation After Eight-year Relationship by CaptainJune: 7:24am On Jul 16
In the case of the guy, this is the very height of wickedness, callousness, selfishness, and inhumanity to have ever taken residence in the souless soul of a sub-human. He slept with the girl for eight years, derived every benefit from her like a husband should derive from a wife, and heartlessly tossed her aside like an overused rag. Satan is this guy's coach and mentor in the art of destruction.

In the case of the girl, I have never stumbled upon universe-size, hopeless idiocy and stupidity of her calibre in all my existence such that I tremble to imagine the possibility of a greater. She may protest all she wants against the end of a fruitless relationship, but my concern is where she dropped her brain eight years ago before she entered the relationship. I hope she can find it and use it to make better decisions going forward.

You open your mouth waaaaaaa, and talk for talking sake, if it were to be you, would you report your wife?

As a wise man, what you are expected to do is return the child back to their parents, because if you dare report your wife, it means you don't want peace for the rest of your life and she will see you as a threat and can poison you over little issue.
You talk as if marriage is a binding contract that is without the option of separation.

I don't see men complaining and seeking sympathy for being a provider. It's what we do on daily with pride.
Lies. "To be a man nawa o," "men have shorter lives than women because of work hazards," "men carry the weight of the family on their shoulders," "a lot of men commit suicide over their inability to provide for their families..." etcetera. Do these statements ring a bell?

That doesn't mean we shouldn't point out the ills in the system that is increasingly making it impossible to keep up.
Granted, however, that does not mean the ills in the system are the sole reason for the quotes above depicting the burden of men.

Everything that can be done to make childbirth easier for women has been done and more are being developed. Provision has not received such attention to ease the burden on men.
Does that make childbearing any less dangerous? Haven't you read or heard women dying during childbirth even in reputable hospitals surrounded by well-qualified doctors?

But how are men particularly designed for it that women are not?
Do women possess strong frame like the men? The natural strength of men helps them to undertake physically demanding work. This is why God made the man the head of the house. He is much stronger by nature.
HealthRe: The “Afterpain” Everyone Forgets After Child Birth by CaptainJune: 9:17am On Jun 25
While recovering from the pain of childbirth some men still want sexual gratification from their wives. They don't care whether she is in the mood for it or not. They love themselves more than they love their wives. All they want is their satisfaction. The best a woman can do for herself to mitigate most of the challenges she will face in her marriage is to marry the right person, or marry someone who loves her more than himself.

Women will find a way to cry about everything. A woman's body is designed to do all that safely.
If you are finding it difficult then you are a weak woman or you have a health problem.

Women in the past have been doing it without all the assistance available today.
So, do it and shut up.
The same way men are designed to put food on the table. Why then cry about hardship?
RomanceRe: Why Do Good/church Girls Find It Difficult To Get Married? by CaptainJune: 6:25am On Jun 25
Host78:
Bro the number of divorce cases do not support your argument.

So all the divorced pastors were not led during their marriages?

You cannot know if you're sexually compatible with someone unless you've had sex with them or engaged in a thorough discussion about such which most ladies never do.

There's no iota of arguments in this your talk that points to anything tangible... The same thing that's happening in our churches today.

Empty yet deep sounding preaching that's short of practicality. You hear Rhema, revelations, etc. All deep but no single practicality.

Like I said earlier, marriage is fully physical not spiritual. It's two people coming together to start a family. Deep in Isreal the wedding was ceremonial done outside the temple filled with drinking of alcohol where they get drunk.

Same in Africa long before Christianity. There's nothing spiritual about it
Shows you know nothing about marital unions that were made from God's direction. A lot of christians, including pastors, make the same mistake of choosing their partner without seeking God's opinion on the issue. When that marital union hits the rocks people like you assume that it broke down despite God's hand in it. You are WRONG.

I am not saying that any marriage that has God's hand in it is immune from the challenges marital unions face. They may face challenges, but the Lord, who has seen the end from the beginning, knows that they are the perfect pair to weather the storms of life without sinking or breaking apart. Marriage goes beyond verifying one's sexual compatibility with a person, goes beyond physical beauty, or material possessions. It is a covenant that should be honoured as long as one of them still breathes.

Yes, marriage is spiritual. Two people become one—in body and spirit. How is it not spiritual? The Word of God says that whoever sleeps with a prostitute has become one body with her...and whoever is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him (1 Corinthians 6:16 and 17). Who do you think gives life to the embryo in the womb? Science? Your perception of marriage colours your expectations and your approach to it. This is what separates marital unions that are thriving from those that are barely surviving or on the brink of collapse.
FamilyRe: Husbands Of Women Who Abuse Their Domestic Help Should Also Be Arrested by CaptainJune: 5:37am On Jun 25
I concur with the op. In fact, this has been my opinion for a long time now. The husband to a woman who abuses a child should be arrested and made to face the same punishment as the wife provided that he was well-aware of the on-going abuse, and let the child constantly go through the harrowing trauma of the physical abuse. He is complicit in the crime and should be made to face the same music as the wife at the court of law.
RomanceRe: Why Do Good/church Girls Find It Difficult To Get Married? by CaptainJune: 3:46pm On Jun 24
Host78:
this is the problem I was talking about.

These girls have been fed with this mentality that if they keep themselves or whatever, then they will get a good man or they will end up with a good man.

I am gold. Therefore I deserve gold. The world doesn't work like that.

And going with this mentality is why a lot of them cannot be married.
You may know such a thing as being led by the Spirit of God. True Christians do not gamble on their compatibility with the opposite sex. They let God lead them to that person who is actually their heart's desire. That is what I meant by gold being compatible with gold, not bronze or aluminum.... You may declare yourself gold and I have no issue with that, but in this context it is highly debatable.

Any guy here who have talked to a churchy girl can easily relate to this. How they constantly want to control you, and prove that they are not cheap
You may have highlighted the experience of a few girls, however, your observations cannot represent the majority. You paint them bad just to get your message across, but it is a misrepresentation of the truth.

A true believer is gold, and she will only go after gold—a true believer of the opposite gender, and she won't make any apologies about it.

franchasofficia:
Very objective comment.

The lady is making good point though it may sound somehow to society but she is making sense.

Getting married or finding a worthy party for marriage has become more difficult for our modern ladies as modern men of marriageable age today have become more unstable emotionally, psychologically, financially and materially, making them to be unreliable when it comes to relationship and romance. To survive this murky waters of today's relationship and courtship, single ladies must learn to play their card smartly and discreetly without blowing their trumpet.

Sticking to one guy with hope of ending up as spouse has become very risky for today single women. So people should not blame the ladies if they do as suggested by the vlogger in the original post.
Well-spoken. Problem is only a handful of men understand the plight of ladies in relationships.
RomanceRe: “Date Multiple Men, Let The Winner Be Announced In Church” — Lady Says by CaptainJune: 3:52pm On Jun 20
Before you come for her head, understand that women, while not enjoying the aging advantage of men, are expected to gamble away their time sticking to a relationship that may never yield any fruit. It is unfair to them. In the end, after being through failed relationships and going into their 30s the same men label them 'evening newspaper'. A man could still be sexually active in his 60s and 70s, but not so for women.

Christianity EtcRe: Dead To Sin: The End Of The Body's Old Government by CaptainJune: 8:33am On Jun 18
A deep dive into one of the many accomplishments of the Lord Jesus Christ which focuses on our redemption rights through the prism of power (reigning and transferred). This breakdown of the Word of God is timeless and impactful. Sin has always been a dictator ruling with absolute control over the body, subjecting mankind to slavery towards death. However, Christ has broken its dictatorship, and under His government we have been redeemed. The roles are reversed now. Through Christ's government we have become kings and queens so that we are masters over sin that it should no longer have any claim to power over our mortal bodies.

Thanks for this fresh perspective of the Word of God.

Christianity EtcRe: This Man Has Left His Body Many Times And Says "We Do Not Die After Death" by CaptainJune: 6:45am On May 31
MaxInDHouse:
I never said Christ's death accomplished nothing in fact at his last breath Jesus said:

“It has been accomplished!” John 19:30

So i believe Jesus' death accomplished something vital for the salvation of obedient mankind. John 3:16

My question is:

If God told Adam that he will die for his disobedience {Genesis 2:17} and that is exactly what happened to Adam would other disobedient humans also die too or they will be judged again for their sins after dying?

What of Adam?
Will he also be judged again for putting all his descendants into thousands of years of suffering, sickness and death?🤔
You want to read your own interpretation into the scriptures.

Adam died because he lost the nature God gave him and donned the sinful nature. That does not mean Adam made up for his sin by death. No human can actually redeem himself or herself from the consequences of sin. It was only the second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ who could do that.
Christianity EtcRe: This Man Has Left His Body Many Times And Says "We Do Not Die After Death" by CaptainJune: 6:41am On May 31
MaxInDHouse:
The Bible teaches that it's through one man all humans became sinners {Romans 5:12} and that man was Adam so it's reasonable to ask if the wages of Adam's sin is just death or eternal punishment because he is the first and foremost sinner whose sin infected all inhabitants of the earth.

So if the Bible says the wages of sin is death {Romans 6:23} what exactly does the verse that says "it is reserved for men to die once for all time, but after this to receive a judgment" really mean? Hebrews 9:27🤔
Romans 6:23 talks about spiritual death which is eternal separation from God in hell. It also says that the gift of God is eternal life. Take note of the word in bold format. It simply contrasts eternal life with eternal death.

The death, however, referred to in the book of Hebrews 9:27 is the physical death all men must experience, a doorway to a new reality—the spiritual reality. This scripture made physical death or decomposition of matter an unalterable physical law of God that applies to the living.
Christianity EtcRe: This Man Has Left His Body Many Times And Says "We Do Not Die After Death" by CaptainJune: 6:56pm On May 30
MaxInDHouse:
It is written:

So all the days of Adam’s life amounted to 930 years, and then he died. Genesis 5:5

Did God meant Adam will still be judged again after his death? Genesis 2:17; 3:19🤔
Christ, the second Adam, who knew no sin tasted physical death as well. What then was the purpose of His physical death if it accomplished nothing?

Any person who has shed the corruptible to be clothed with the incorruptible will not experience the judgment that separates the sinner from the the righteous. Physical death is the consequence of the fall of man. There is no choice in the matter. Everyone after Adam must return to the dust. Spiritual death, on the other hand, is a factor of choice. The Lord Jesus Christ, the Second Adam, offers eternal life. This is contingent on accepting Him as one's personal Lord and Saviour. This indicates the exercise of choice.

If Jesus brought them back to life where were they before then?

The Bible says:

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ‭Romans 6:23 NIV‬

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. KJV

What will those who have paid for their sins with death be judged for after paying with their death? Romans 6:7🤔
Max, to begin with, the 'death' you referenced is spiritual in nature —eternal separation from God. The death you seem to imply is the physical death which all men must experience whether righteous or unrighteous. It has nothing to do with judgment. Remember the second death mentioned in the book of Revelation chapter 20? According to your logic, people who have paid for their sins with physical death must experience a second physical death, right?

In retrospect, you said people pay for their sins with death. What in the world does that even mean? What demonic doctrine is that? If people could actually pay for their sins with death then the sacrifice of Christ on the cross was irrelevant. It would also mean that the accountability required of man in judgment would become redundant as both evil and righteous men die.

When it is said that the Lord Jesus brought someone back to life the exact location of the resurrected person is technically unknown. However, one can speculate that the righeous souls went to a spiritual place of rest called Abraham's Bosom (see Luke 16:22). I say it is technically unknown because time does not work in eternity the way it works here. A person may die and may be awaiting their judgment when, through the fervent prayers of someone else or a group of people, they are resurrected. There is no cookie-cutter approach to the spiritual experiences of people who experienced clinical death and were resurrected.
Christianity EtcRe: This Man Has Left His Body Many Times And Says "We Do Not Die After Death" by CaptainJune: 12:00pm On May 30
Truthseeker10:
So according to your explanation of Hebrews 9:27, the people Jesus resurrected when he was on earth where either in heaven or hell fire before Jesus brought them back to earth with a resurrection?
I said when a person dies the next thing is judgment. What is the meaning of judgment to you? Does it mean heaven or hell to you? Are you trying to play ignorant to the meaning of judgment?

Where were they when Jesus brought them back to life? That is not the subject of this discussion.
