If you think so but God never said any part of Adam will survive death because death is what Adam used to pay for his rebellion.
Resurrection on the other hand came not for everyone but only the righteous and unrighteous as for wicked people they have no share during the resurrection of the death! Psalms 9:17
Misinformation is the primary reason the scriptures in plain english appear like calculus to you. If you keep holding on to this erroneous view of yours you have a date with rude awakening.

Are humans existing before creation?
If not are you saying there is something indestructible that lives on after death of humans?
What about Adam?
Did he exist after his physical death?🤔
My previous replies already answered your questions.

MaxInDHouse:
I never said Christ's death accomplished nothing in fact at his last breath Jesus said:

“It has been accomplished!” John 19:30

So i believe Jesus' death accomplished something vital for the salvation of obedient mankind. John 3:16

My question is:

If God told Adam that he will die for his disobedience {Genesis 2:17} and that is exactly what happened to Adam would other disobedient humans also die too or they will be judged again for their sins after dying?

What of Adam?
Will he also be judged again for putting all his descendants into thousands of years of suffering, sickness and death?🤔
You want to read your own interpretation into the scriptures.

Adam died because he lost the nature God gave him and donned the sinful nature. That does not mean Adam made up for his sin by death. No human can actually redeem himself or herself from the consequences of sin. It was only the second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ who could do that.
Christianity EtcRe: This Man Has Left His Body Many Times And Says "We Do Not Die After Death" by CaptainJune: 6:41am On May 31
MaxInDHouse:
The Bible teaches that it's through one man all humans became sinners {Romans 5:12} and that man was Adam so it's reasonable to ask if the wages of Adam's sin is just death or eternal punishment because he is the first and foremost sinner whose sin infected all inhabitants of the earth.

So if the Bible says the wages of sin is death {Romans 6:23} what exactly does the verse that says "it is reserved for men to die once for all time, but after this to receive a judgment" really mean? Hebrews 9:27🤔
Romans 6:23 talks about spiritual death which is eternal separation from God in hell. It also says that the gift of God is eternal life. Take note of the word in bold format. It simply contrasts eternal life with eternal death.

The death, however, referred to in the book of Hebrews 9:27 is the physical death all men must experience, a doorway to a new reality—the spiritual reality. This scripture made physical death or decomposition of matter an unalterable physical law of God that applies to the living.
Christianity EtcRe: This Man Has Left His Body Many Times And Says "We Do Not Die After Death" by CaptainJune: 6:56pm On May 30
MaxInDHouse:
It is written:

So all the days of Adam’s life amounted to 930 years, and then he died. Genesis 5:5

Did God meant Adam will still be judged again after his death? Genesis 2:17; 3:19🤔
Christ, the second Adam, who knew no sin tasted physical death as well. What then was the purpose of His physical death if it accomplished nothing?

Any person who has shed the corruptible to be clothed with the incorruptible will not experience the judgment that separates the sinner from the the righteous. Physical death is the consequence of the fall of man. There is no choice in the matter. Everyone after Adam must return to the dust. Spiritual death, on the other hand, is a factor of choice. The Lord Jesus Christ, the Second Adam, offers eternal life. This is contingent on accepting Him as one's personal Lord and Saviour. This indicates the exercise of choice.

If Jesus brought them back to life where were they before then?

The Bible says:

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ‭Romans 6:23 NIV‬

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. KJV

What will those who have paid for their sins with death be judged for after paying with their death? Romans 6:7🤔
Max, to begin with, the 'death' you referenced is spiritual in nature —eternal separation from God. The death you seem to imply is the physical death which all men must experience whether righteous or unrighteous. It has nothing to do with judgment. Remember the second death mentioned in the book of Revelation chapter 20? According to your logic, people who have paid for their sins with physical death must experience a second physical death, right?

In retrospect, you said people pay for their sins with death. What in the world does that even mean? What demonic doctrine is that? If people could actually pay for their sins with death then the sacrifice of Christ on the cross was irrelevant. It would also mean that the accountability required of man in judgment would become redundant as both evil and righteous men die.

When it is said that the Lord Jesus brought someone back to life the exact location of the resurrected person is technically unknown. However, one can speculate that the righeous souls went to a spiritual place of rest called Abraham's Bosom (see Luke 16:22). I say it is technically unknown because time does not work in eternity the way it works here. A person may die and may be awaiting their judgment when, through the fervent prayers of someone else or a group of people, they are resurrected. There is no cookie-cutter approach to the spiritual experiences of people who experienced clinical death and were resurrected.

So according to your explanation of Hebrews 9:27, the people Jesus resurrected when he was on earth where either in heaven or hell fire before Jesus brought them back to earth with a resurrection?
I said when a person dies the next thing is judgment. What is the meaning of judgment to you? Does it mean heaven or hell to you? Are you trying to play ignorant to the meaning of judgment?

Where were they when Jesus brought them back to life? That is not the subject of this discussion.

Your words truly carry grace, depth, and discernment, and I deeply appreciate them. What blesses me even more is not merely the compliment itself, but the fact that you perceive the intentionality behind the communication. Language is a vessel, but truth is the treasure it carries. When both align properly, words do not merely inform the mind, they touch the spirit, stir thought, awaken hunger, and illuminate realities that were once hidden in plain sight.

I have always believed that the WORD of GOD deserves excellence in presentation, not for intellectual vanity, but because divine truth is weighty. The scripture says, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” There is a beauty to truth when it is communicated with clarity, precision, wisdom, and life.

Too often, people separate spirituality from depth of thought, as though intelligence, language, structure, and insight somehow diminish dependence on THE HOLY SPIRIT. But throughout scripture, GOD ALMIGHTIEST consistently used men who could communicate with conviction, wisdom, and spiritual accuracy. Moses was learned, Paul reasoned profoundly, Solomon spoke with extraordinary insight, and JESUS communicated eternal mysteries through language so layered that generations are still unfolding its depths.

So hearing that the writings are not only edifying, but also enriching to engage with intellectually and spiritually, is genuinely encouraging.

And honestly, your own expression reveals that you are someone who does not merely read words, but tastes them. Not everyone recognizes rhythm, structure, nuance, thematic continuity, and conceptual layering in communication. It takes a certain attentiveness of mind and spirit to appreciate those things. That is why your observation stands out to me.

Most importantly, I am grateful that all of this points back to CHRIST. That is the true goal. If language is beautiful but does not reveal JESUS, then it becomes decoration without life. But when insight, truth, and expression converge to magnify CHRIST, strengthen believers, challenge minds, and awaken hunger for GOD ALMIGHTIEST, then communication becomes ministry.

I sincerely look forward to future interactions as well. Conversations sharpen understanding, and fellowship around the things of THE LORD is always enriching when approached with sincerity, humility, and hunger for truth.

By the grace of GOD ALMIGHTIEST, the body of CHRIST will continue to grow in revelation, maturity, discernment, power, and the knowledge of JESUS CHRIST.
You have a unique lens of view as regards the intent behind my replies, a Christlike disposition worth a place among the collection of rare treasures in the treasure room of my mind. This is not to mention the fact that your word choice and insightful associations in tandem betray the quality of a mega rich mind endowed with vast deposits of intellectual resources, and more importantly, a spirit reflecting the grace and qualities of a Spirit-led life. It is not my intention to hijack our communication to rain compliments on you, neither do I wish to diminish the purpose of this thread by my undue admiration of your verbal dexterity.

That said, I apologise for sidetracking your thread. Noteworthy, everything I see in you is the mirror-image of the glory of God to whom be the honour and praise now and forevermore.

You are most welcome. Just as a connoisseur of vocabulary savours a poem, its style, rhythm, diction, imagery, and all its parts that help to convey its depth and meaning I could not help but appreciate your eloquent use of language to drive your point. Your firm grasp and command of the English language is not only admirable, but also makes for a pleasurable consumption.

I have visited one or two other threads of yours and find that your topics portray a consistent measure of insight above the average. I am glad that such skill is channelled into propagating the Word of God. Looking forward to future interaction with you and the body of Christ by God's grace.

I understand your point, but the use of “ALMIGHTIEST” is intentional emphasis on the absolute supremacy of GOD ALMIGHTIEST, not a suggestion that HE has equals. Even the scripture uses comparative expressions to magnify HIS uniqueness above all so called gods and powers.

The scripture says in Psalm 86:8, “Among the gods there is none like You, O LORD.” That does not mean those gods are equal to HIM. It means every authority, throne, power, or spiritual entity is inferior to HIM.

Psalm 95:3 says, “For THE LORD is the great GOD, and the great King above all gods.”

Deuteronomy 10:17 says, “For THE LORD your GOD is GOD of gods, and LORD of lords, a great GOD, mighty and awesome.”

The scripture also says in Isaiah 46:9, “I am GOD, and there is none else, I am GOD, and there is none like ME.”

So the emphasis is supremacy, unmatched dominion, and absolute sovereignty. No being compares with HIM in glory, authority, power, holiness, or eternality. Every throne bows to JESUS CHRIST.

At the same time, I respect your preference for “Almighty,” because that is the more commonly used biblical rendering in English translations. But the intention behind “ALMIGHTIEST” is to exalt THE LORD as the highest and supreme above all.
I dig your explanation. Because of that, I will show deference to the intention behind the term rather than put up an argument. It still makes a mental jarring note (personally) when reading or thinking about it, but the message of faith is more important, and clearly well-written.

I love this post on faith. It is spot-on. Only I would adopt the term 'Almighty' rather than 'Almightiest' because the latter suggests that God has equals...as in there are other Almighty beings like God but He surpasses them. Other than that this is a post worth reading for all believers in Christ.
Christianity EtcRe: This Man Has Left His Body Many Times And Says "We Do Not Die After Death" by CaptainJune: 11:18am On May 26
Gosh, this thread is proof that the devil is the CEO of deception.

People want to believe there is no Being to whom they owe the accountability of their lives when they die.

Once a person dies he or she heads straight for judgment - Hebrews 9:27. There is no reincarnation, or purgatory. These are lies designed and sold by the devil, and those who hate Christ who formed them and separated them from the womb find it easier to digest than the truth about eternal reward in heaven and punishment in hell.

Not every NDE is true. The devil has built his own cases of NDEs to deceive the world because he is a deceiver from the beginning. Yes, we live forever...but where? The answer to that question depends on you whether you turn your life over to Christ now or not. For many people it is now or never.

Christianity EtcRe: Why You Should Worship The Devil? by CaptainJune: 7:30am On May 15
Why we should worship the Devil often? It makes us genuine. The free-will and the freedom of man is coined "sin" and rebuked. If man goes against the laws of God, he is condemned.
One of the laws of God is to never shed blood. Your argument implies people giving free rein to the morbid desire to kill their fellow humans. Is that why you worship satan?

No man will be happy beating his adult daughter in that manner. She should listen to her dad and be a good girl.
You call this discipline? Subjecting a woman to severe bodily harm is your version of discipline? Why can't all fathers do the same to their sons of the same age as Ilebaye? Once is enough to teach them to keep their discipline-itching hands to themselves. She is a woman that is why this can happen. There is the age a child grows that she should be treated like an adult, not a child.

Even more, you fumbled by speaking in defense of the father when you know absolutely zilch what transpired between them. Besides, not all men think like you and Ilebaye's abusive father.
CrimeRe: BREAKING VIDEO Police Force Provides Detailed Accout Of How ASP Usman Nuhu Unali by CaptainJune: 12:08pm On May 04
We4all:
When I first watched that video, one question was on my mind: 'what gave that officer the confidence to shoot that boy in broad daylight'?

People insinuated that it was because he was trying to cover up something, and I thought to myself, if that is the case, he would take him somewhere else to shoot him and not do it at the park.

While I am not holding brief for that police for his jungle justice style of killing that man, that guy is not as innocent as portrayed. It has been established that he came to the park to waybill the gun to his friend and not pick it up. He stuffed the parcel with baby clothes to trick the driver, but was bursted.

Now it is being alleged that the gun belongs to a late MOPOL officer that was killed during endsars. Perhaps, that was what triggered the officer to take justice into his hands.

Regardless, I have never been in support of jungle justice, but I am also wondering how many people have been killed with that gun.
If what you said is an established fact why was Mene treated in worse manner than your cold-blooded relentless killing machine called boko haram?

If he killed the boy based on what you said, it means he is not even qualified to be a police officer in the first place. First thing is to have investigated how the boy came into possession with the parcel before making any conclusions. That is what the police are trained to do. A thorough investigation should have been launched, then the law should deem him innocent or guilty, not the police. Usman Nuhu appointed himself judge, jury, and executioner.

Again, he did not go to waybill anything. He went to receive the waybill. The manner with which he was killed raises huge suspicion about criminal dealings among the team of police members involved in his killing. Your fulani herders parade their guns and daggers everyday, but they are accorded with respect by the same police. Even if Ogidi went to receive an illegal weapon how does that justify his being killed without trial?

Honestly, I had lost hope there was any reasonable male on nairaland while reading through the comments until I came across yours, then I knew there are still wise males despite the loud ones here. It is an extreme form of laziness to think that every lady who has not married in their early or late 30s is because they were picky when they were much younger. Many of them did everything right from their 20s hoping to get married before they clocked 30, but, sadly, life happened to many of them through no fault of theirs.
