gamaliel9: Epic for Joel Obi
On a quiet Sunday night...you left on a machine invented by the Wright brothers..terminus ad quem, Guisseppe Meazza...in a little time, a certain Mourinho ,eagle eyed, saw your precociousness, placed you on" A" list of that team that broke away from Milan team saying,
"This wonderful night bestows us with colours of crest, black and azure[blue]...it shall be called International because we are brothers of the world"
At a stage ,you and countryman Nwankwo Obiorah were first teamers...you constantly benched Philppe Coutinho...but muscles and the elements conspired to hit you from time to time..they sent you to Parma...back to San Siro...finally Torino saw the gem, overlooking your injuries and bought you.. Today, the stars have aligned for you..you have conquered the elements....you shall match with the green white green to Putin s den...you a part of a jigsaw set to enchant le monde like the German blitzkrieg with strenght, pace and skill....the stage is set...tickets have been bought...televisions are ready...heaven is merciful...your time is here..... Amen, I destroy every attempt by injury to stop Joel obi IJN. |

ugo4u: Combatants please get your National ID card or NIMC handy, if you don't have one please endeavour to get one before registration commences because from the look of things army might require it this time around, and to those of us here that will reduce age make sure it tallies with every of your documents including first school living certificate if you give army any reason to cast aspersions on your age you are a goner. Eat right, keep fit, Read, readout your affirmations, press button(S), and most importantly pray to God na him sure pass May God bless us all, by God's grace we will surely get to Afaka. I commend your observatory skills, National ID was listed amongst the requirements for this current Regular Intake exercise. I am surprised you guys didn't notice it. |

Odunayaw: I am glad you understand the angle I am coming from, I likewise understand yours. I just feel 500 soldiers should/could have been gotten in a far more longer time taking into cognisance the role, funding available to the service, logistics etc. This is one of the reasons why I respect the NN SBS,even at the height of the insurgency they withstood mass production(which is only possible through reduction of some standard (might I add that standard comes from expected) operational picture) and still churned out numbers below a gross.
information reaching me says more than 1500 were screened. only nemesis has gotten the real picture. |

Odunayaw: Those who have SOF experience long before we became independent well there is a contrast to that in relation to Nigerians. Have you bothered to puzzle on why members of our armed forces and even police dust their some of their foreign peers in courses abroad. The average Nigerian is intelligent, dogged, tough and a victor( i mean no disrespect).I once went on a course abroad and there was this brutal endurance training responsible for many of their soldiers quitting but the five of us completed that exercise in record time time to their surprise while we saw it as normal . Its good to compare in other to measure appreciable progress but these rules don't apply to us sometimes. I get the angle you are coming from sha. |

AIG07: that will be suicidal. Echiejile that can not run and can't use is right foot to kick the ball is the one you want to start as a LCB in 3 man defence.
Okay o o o... I go just watch the match with one eye closed. yeah he is short on pace and as for the right foot I think he will cope sha. just my opinion sir. |

junnyjake: You asked goals that was conceded from his wing, I've given you one.
Echiejile, for a very long time has enjoyed little or no competition at the LB position. Rohr back in 2015 talked to him about making a switch.
We need someone who's good at both defence and attack, Idowu is just fine for that, there's no way he can be worse than Echiejile. I've seen some of his games at his club side. And I know about the already cliched club football is different from national team football.
We didn't miss him at the last WC and please sir, stop making people who are against his making the WC squad sound like crazy people, his experience isn't a beneficial one. I personally think echiejile will go to the world cup. especially if we intend to play the 3-5-2 formation, If any of the German boys don't show, Elderson might not be valuable to the attack but he sure is a good marker and could play in the left side of the back three with balogun and ekong while either idowu or ebuehi/Aina plays as a left wingback. |
