Well, like my teenage cousin will say, "Welcome to the 21st century". Like someone said, most of them are not matured and they want to dance to the tune that sells. They see things, they watch things, they talk things, etc. They are very vulnerable too and can be manipulated easily. They want to be noticed.
All these and many more, shape their attitude towards life. There are some good ones though. Just know what you want and go for it.
