angeljoy: Good day, Mr. Paul I've been diligently following you from start, please what if the car shows engine light, you switch off, restart and the engine light does not appear again for that day, note that it's a daily occurrence.
The car is Honda Academy 1995model.

Okay thanks for your positive comments, Obd2 started from 1996 however some models from 95 where kitted with obd2. Your vehicle is warning you that something is wrong and needs to be scanned. If you don't that light will at some point become permanent when the car is on and not just in the morning. By the time you decide to go and scan it, it may be too late at that point the car may not start or the fan belt may have cut or the engine may have knocked or the gear transmission/clutch may have slipped...e.t.c

So if you have a laptop get your scanner from us and scan your car as soon as you see the check-engine light. At least you know what is wrong with it first. Don't wait for the car to stop you first before you start.

Get your P0100 P0200 P0300, P0400, P0500, P0600, P0700 P0800 CODES explained EASILY
P0700 and P0800 are for transmission faults so pls it is a standard.

By the way what vehicle do you have and manufacture year. Some faults in the transmission may even be electrical and not even manual however the scanner will indicate it.
