I always wondered where the money we made from Gas (LNG) was going. N350bill used by NNPC to subsidise PMS. This is systemic failure, worst than bankruptsy.

Now what happened to the money saved when Oil fell to Usd40. and fuel was N140. Why did they not remove subsidy then. I will blame Nnpc for not removing it at that stage. They always thinking about today not tommorow.

N350bill Gas money will build us PPP 7000mw power plant. or build a Gas pipeline to Europe. NNPC is Nigeria's wickest link.

1)How much to spend = Calculate the cost of your Gen plus your fuel for atleast 6mths that will give you a good budjet for this

2)The loads you essentially need to Power Iron,Freezer/Fridge and water Pump, AC are the most Heavy loads these loads can be powered with our motorized inverter which is charged with fewer batteries so bringing down the cost/maintenance of batteries. If you can do without these loads on for up to 12hrs then you do not need the motorized addition and a simple panel and maybe a small wind turbine for night use will do the job

3) There are times where customers Nepa supply is less than 5hrs a day 365days of the year such customers should seriously consider option 2.

I find this hard to believe, 3 x 100ah 12v batteries to power a 7.5kVA system?, from my experience, only a 1.5hp ac would run the battery out in 2hrs. The solar panels and wind turbine would certainly make it last a little longer, but not 20hrs.
Would like to see some calculations to prove me wrong.

7.5kva is peak when running maybe only 3kva, but has stored energy in flywheel in case the AC motor suddenly starts this energy does not reach the battery at all. Also with capacitors added you will see how the energy conservation and transfer happens.

Anyway If you had your AC unit running every evening Guaranteed for 3hrs, 7pm to 10pm is that not very good can your GEN or Nepa give you that Guaranteed. So that is not the issue, the main issue is what will happen to the battery after that, will it be completly damaged or Not. That is why we use a motorized inverter very few batteries are needed the load rests on the flywheel of the system. We now incorporate it with the wind to keep it topped up over-night, it is a our copyright and patent-pending system.
Remember many loads dont have to run at same time or for too long. so pressing iron 35mins, water pump 40mins deepfreezer with thermostat say 10hrs.
