packman: [size=20pt]STORY STORY .......... ALL I KNOW IS THAT YOU GUYS SHOULD BETTER QUALIFY..........For your info, do you think Ethiopia will win Nigeria by 3-2? That's the only scoreline they need to qualify for the Mundial proper. |
[quote author=naptu2]You just used the term "friendly match". I'll ask you a few questions: 1) What is a "friendly match"? 2) Are friendly matches the only types of matches? 3) If friendly matches are not the only type of matches, then what are the other types of matches called? Bottom line: Nigeria's invincibility record at home has been queered and void. You shun jaded and disillusive patriotism based on pretentiousness. Please follow this http://www.goal.com/en/match/103016/nigeria-vs-burkina-faso/report? Nigeria 4-1 Burkina Faso: Ideye double extends hosts' unbeaten run Shola Ameobi and Emmanuel Emenike also found the net as the Super Eagles continued a 10-year run on home soil without defeat |
CFCfan: 'Competitive matches' as used in FIFA parlance, refers to the qualification matches of each confederation's continental tournament, WC qualifiers, the world cup finals tournament, and the finals tournament of the Confederation's competition. You're typing redundancy! To compete , according to you, entails what? Do you know what head-to-head mean? You must be joking. Do you come to term that Nigeria proposed a huge sum of money to Brazil before that match was played? To your chagrin, since Nigeria defeated France in their backyard, being a friendly match, it's not competitive, right? I dislike your charade of frivolousness.. |
Emilord: that was not a competitive matchSince you know so much, expatiate the meaning of ''COMPETITIVENESS''. |
[quote author=CFCfan]If Nigeria avoids defeat (duh), they would extend their unbeaten run in home competitive games to 63 consecutive matches. The last time the Super eagles lost a competitive match at home was in 1981: a loss to Algeria in Lagos in a WCQ. We lost to Brazil on 11th June 2003 by 0-3 during Abuja's Stadium inauguration match with stars-studded Super Eagles team. |
Gwekzy: . SeriouslySuper Eagles lost against Brazil at the inauguration of Abuja's stadium by 0 - 3, 11 June 2003. |
Jodekss: Antonym : |
Jodekss: obscurity doesn't only mean darkness, it may mean snarlness, hard, harduous, hachulean, obfuscating, zag, zig-zag. So let's say it means OBFUSCATING then I think it would match.Your adjudicating behind reticency on DECIMATION is still becoming something of kvetching. Please , do explain how a Thesis would enjoy DECIMATION ; to you, what does DECIMATION mean? |
Jodekss: Scrooge, in the famous novel by Dickens, was a ____ ; he hated the rest of mankind.I voted for option A |
Jodekss: obscurity and decimation ya Kindly elaborate on the possibility of a Thesis to enjoy DECIMATION.... If the options would be Obscurity, meaning darkness, then in its proportion, it would have to suffer DECIMATION , rather than enjoying DECIMATION.... |
Elliotwiz1: limelight and neglet.Limelight and neglect can not be correct, given that 'neglect' is a verb, but rather, I would appropriate obscurity and renaissance as correct options. |
Jodekss: While unwilling to forgo the benefits of standardized testing, many European countries are seeking to (i)____ individual (ii)____ which state examinations with their (iii)____ |
