Jazakallahu Khairum

Salam Alrykum.
There's no verbal statements you need to make.
Just like other salats, the intention is only done with the heart.
Allah knows best.

Jazakallahu khair.
May Allah reward you abundantly.

What's with hand shake? Does it really change anything about greetings? Have seen a lot of instances where some people feel snubbed because i didn't shake them, even when i did met them with a smile, do all other do-ables and asking about their wellbeing.
Does shaking have a special significance in greeting in this part of the world?

Work well done!
