It is a reliable vehicle and has good fuel economy, acceleration is top notch and you won't have transmission problems as long as you don't utilize wrong transmission fluid even for 1 day. Change transmission fluid every year if possible or 1 and half years, any sound on the front legs should be checked and always better to buy tokunbo shaft than brand-new.

Never use rubbish power steering fluid, brake seldom gives issues because all 4 are disc no drum.

Engine is timing chain but the single drive belt should be changed when you notice issues.

Door and window electrical issues would come but can be easily fixed, ignition key teeth too fails often and has to be re- aligned key would pop out while engine is on, not a common occurrence.

Above all car is highly reliable and long distance capable
Thank you so much, i appreciate

Hello house. Looking at Honda Accord 2006 or 2007 LX or EX popularly called Discussion Continues in Nigeria.

How good is this car in terms of reliability and cost of maintenance? Does it have a reliable transmission?Would you choose this car over Toyota Camry 2006? Both seem to have same spec per say.

Thanks.
I am much more interested in the reliability. It will be used for inter state travel occasionally so really wondering if there is anything i should be worried about. Cost of parts when compared to Camry of same year?? How is the transmission as i have read Honda has some poor transmission.

Thanks once again.

Car is reliable.
Cost of maintenance is relative and depends on your pocket. However, parts are ubiquitous and averagely affordable

I’d pick this car over a 2006 Camry
Thanks boss.

Does it have a freaky transmission?

Hello guys. Is it true Python is optimized for data science?? Can it be comfortably used as a back end scripting language rather than say PHP??

For the backend, i was advised to go for PHP, Laravel, Node Js, Express Js. Is this the best languages n framework to start with? Which database should i start up with? (MySQL or MongoDB)?

I will appreciate direction from experts in the house for a sure foundation so i dont get frustrated along the line.

I have littIe experiwnce with VB which i used to do few projects but now i want to become to fullstack developer.

Both cars seat on the same platform meaning everything you see about the cars is interchangeable to the tiniest part, the only difference is the body design.

The Almera is an european market car while the Sentra is sold only in United States (North America).

The Almera is a far superior vehicle than the Sentra interms of offering, some came factory fitted with navigation screen, rear view camera, information display screen for mpg, warning display and a host of other things on the 5 or 7inch screen.

As beautiful as the Almera is, after probably 2 years of experiencing Nigerian pothole filled roads and dragging with okada it is going to deform the body isn't strong to withstand the stress.

The Sentra on the other hand will take all the stress and keep it's shape as long as you want.

The other strong Almera is the Almera Tino but watch out for the CVT fitted ones.

Also Almera comes in RHD and some few LHD. but Sentra comes as LHD
Thank you so much @nurey for the comprehensive review of the 2 cars. You practically dymistified them.

Hello house. Which of these 2 cars should i go for:

2005 Nissan Almera 1.8L Engine Auto
2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8L Engine Auto

Considering durability, availability of parts and easy/pocket friendly maintenance. The car will be used by a woman.

Car TalkConvert/replace Semi Automatic Transmission To Full Automatic Transmission by Carstuff(op): 1:13pm On Dec 08, 2020
Hello house.

I have seen some Toyota cars that originally should come with semi automatic transmission but have full/normal automatic transmission. That makes me wonder if the semi automatic can be replaced with full auto transmission.

Toyota has some terrible semi auto transmission fitted in some of their vehicles. Review shows numerous complains from users especially slipping to neutral at will, clutch actuator problem and things like that. A typical example is Toyota Corolla Verso, a European car.

The two attached pictures refers. The 1st though is RHD but is semi auto while the 2nd picture is full auto of same model of car.

Looking forward to anyone with information on this.

Car TalkRe: The Official Car Comparison/Recommendation Thread by Carstuff(m): 9:18am On Sep 24, 2020
Please house, i am a newbie. I need information about Toyota Corolla Verso 2005-2006 with automatic transmission. I know some are RHD to LHD converted but i am looking at original LHD.

Does the car have any known peculiar issue?
Are the parts easily available and affordable just like Corolla?
I read the transmission is CVT, is it something i should worry about?

Kindly advise so that i will not make any mistake.
