Guys, I use a Redmi note 10 Pro and most times I don't get gmail updates unless I open the app.

I've tried clearing cache, ticking and unticking the backgdround refresh, still the same thing.

Other apps send their notifications instantly, except Gmail and this has made me miss some important mails that I did not see until later.

What can I do to solve this permanently?

This is quite sad. Too many killings.

Ladies, please be very wary and carry a pepper spray at all times.

Guys too, be vigilant and don't trust anybody.

I don't even have time to check him on FB. I never even get time to check my personal FB self. He has too many accounts everywhere. He is still on NL, but I don't know his new moniker.

In January, 2021, he abused me and I told him to prove he is a woman and I will give him the money was begging from thread to thread, but he couldn't.

In December 2021, he used his Slimkhalifa moniker to join a group I created and ran with the money I sent him. He is probably using another moniker to abuse me everyday.

This is the same person who said he doesn't need the money. I'm revealing all these to help others avoid being scammed by him.

Geniuses in the house, I complained about phone tripping off problem after the MIUI 13 upgrade.

I've found the trigger point... If my volume is loud and I listen to a sound, it trips off..

Note, this never happened before, until the bug filled update

Under settings, go to App Settings >>> Manage Apps.

Then select the Chrome browser, the App info will come up. Scroll to the bottom and clear defaults.

You can simply set the default app to brainly anytime you need to work with it

It can only set to a browser. The Brainly app is not an option.. Usually it was set to Chrome by default but I was always asked everytime if I wanted to use either Brainly or Chrome

atimes when am in app and press home button it will start to reload home screen, font no reach message app, dark mode no longer work again in some app, unwanted mic or something notifications from the left hand..... It might be fixed in d next update coz i read many complain from some website..

I have been on that ROM since early last week no issues apart from the compatibility issues with Font and Dark Mode, which is understandable.

Do you just continue using your phone immediately an update or do you force restart as much as possible after that update?

You can redownload the ROM and reinstall.

Sadly I deleted the file yesterday. Downloading another 3gb+ of file is not what I want to do now.

By the way, do you know how to clear app defaults.

For example, before the update, on Google Sheets, I used to be able to choose to open links using either Chrome or Brainly app.

Now, there's no option for the Brainly app, it just goes straight to Chrome.

Yes. On redmi note 10 Pro, I've noticed phone tripping off without warning. Four times now.

Apart from that, there are subtle changes that I like.
I thought that's why they always use beta version first.. Why do these bugs still remain

Follow what they said: uninstall recent apps.
You should also undo any recent changes you made, including changes to fonts, wallpaper etc

I almost cried one time when my phone misbehaved for "no reason". Turned out to be the font I'd just installed

Thanks for the advice.. I didn't make any recent font change. Already reset my device.

Redmi note 10 Pro user here.

I wonder if my problem is unique or cuts across for all redmi users.

This morning, I noticed my WhatsApp could not open, I kept tapping the icon but it wasn't opening. I rebooted twice, same thing. I had to uninstall and put new one.

Since then, my system UI has been very laggy and once or twice it has popped up with "System UI not responding", and more frequently, individual apps like Chrome, Google Sheets, etx have also given me the "Bleep not responding. Wait, close?" more frequently.


Sorry for the long post.

How can I fix this?
