It's simply not worth the energy engaging with these people. They have no interest in thinking beyond surface-level narratives.Critical thinking remains frustratingly rare among my country people, particularly when it comes to geopolitics, its real-world implications, and Nigeria's position within the global order.

The irony is striking. Many of these same people are holding Chinese smartphones they could actually afford, phones that would have otherwise taken them years of savings to replace with a 4 year old American equivalent. They're driving or at least aspiring to own Chinese electric vehicles that exist at a price point no Western manufacturer can offer. But somehow, these same Nigerian consumers will cheerfully root for China's decline. No ideology behind it, no analysis. Just herd mentality and borrowed sentiment from people whose interests are actively opposed to theirs.

Uranium is indeed clean energy but yh you got what I mean. They want us to focus on green energy - solar etc when they have already benefited immensely from coal and nuclear energy but want to lecture Africa on how great green energy is for global climate but they are the ones who contributed the most to climate degradation.
