I know that Putin isn’t exactly a “good guy,” but, don’t I just love these quotes from him. They’re both awesome and hysterical. He’s a world leader who is really a movie character. He seems to be the one world leader unfazed, undamned and super ready to turn these ISIS cowards to ‘WAS-WAS’ in no time. “To forgive the terrorists is up to god, to send them to him is up to me.” He once also said, “American techs can spot water in Mars, but, can’t detect ISIS trucks” Who talks like that? PUTIN DOES! http://www.viva-naija.com/ to-forgive-the-terrorists-is-up- to-god-but-to-send-them-to- him-is-my-duty-putin/ |

TOPCRUISE: ![]() TOPCRUISE:loosen up man.why do u think we 9ja are rated the happiest pple in d world, despite all these misfortunes we exprience everyday vis á vis economic meltdown, bad governance, unemployment, terrorism, ethniticm e.t.c?why cz our inexplicable sense of humour, dat uncanny ability to crack jokes even with deadliest of subjects, take d resent ebola disease vs salt scinerio we made comedy out of it,even bokoharam.dz nigeria where common sense is nt common, where foolishness is fashionable, wher sanity is a luxury.bt then if nt 4 dz kind of mindset suicide wld hv bn common cz if u allow urslf 2 be fully conscious,be serious with all dz impunity in dz country bliv me u might hit d street,so 4 ur sanity sake make it a habit to be happy against all odds. #peace. |

allytinted:i think ASUU is politicised, they were used as tool to frustrate d former govt.now they ar suddenly mute.and they knw they ar corrupt |
ASUU what's happening?almos t
3yrs now no strike.not even a
rumour hmmmm.does it mean
that all your previous demands
have bn met?if so its long
overdue to make fresh demands
or have you guyz run out of
idea?it is high time you shut the
universities and fly abroad for a
Phd or vacation.come on,this
present undergraduates are
missing the action, they are yet to
write their core 4credit unit
(1st&2nd semester) course(s)
:ASUU1 01,201,301&401. see
some are almost about to
graduate spilling over the
course,that's not fair.
.
is it the wind of 'change' that has
blown towards ASUU?abi dem de
fear Baba body linguistic?make
dem try na;just a threat and let
them watch as the full arsenal of
anti corruption descend on
them.the kain probe wey dem go
probe them even S***k* go
shame for them.all the Vcs and
profs would start by declaring
their assets including how many
wives they have.can still
remember how one of my
lecturers cheerfully announced to
us that he just married new wife
shortly after the ASUU strike was
called off,imagine 11months of
accumulated salary and
allowance.he was so happy that
he dashed those of us that
attended the lecture 5marks
each.I blessed the new wife in
my mind sha cz 5marks was not
easy to come by.
but one thing I know is that the
day of reckoning of ASUU is at
hand,because nobody has asked
about the 220billion naira
infrastructure fund does not
mean it has been forgotten.it is
more annoying to remember that
it cost me 1whole year, while you
guyz and GEJ govt kept
masturbating with the future of
Nigerian students,it is now years
after the so called agreement
were reach yet the condition our
federal universities remain
deplorable.who is fooling who?
these guyz made most us spend
5yrs for a 4yr course(some even
6yrs) plus another year waiting
for Nysc making 6yrs.can't help
thinking if that was the reason
my girl left me.
now after everything these guyz
have suddenly started forming
responsible and civil,now
maintaining normal academic
calendar.even some peeps that
met me in 300level just finished
their degree exams.I no 'gree
unless they will be made to serve
for 2yrs in NYSC.

steffans:God owns everythng including politics thus men of God who incoporate politics have nt erred.the muslims understand this perfectly, they believe Allah owns everythng;their entire life and reasoning, including politics, hence they are successful politically, jst because a typical muslim cnt separate religion frm politics.dats extreme though, but we Christians on d contrary shy away to involve God in politics and dats y we fail to get it right.its common to hear among us things like "abeg dis one nobi God matter;this is politics".thats myopic.my take is dat let there be moderation but let me not hear again that men of God shld not talk abt politics.d last time i checked, politicians are created by God. |
man I knw hw frustrating dat could be cz av bn there once.but my perseverance later paid off sha,I kept being friends with her even came in wen she had issues with her bf.she is dz kind one in a kind faithful lover who bluntly told me DAT she can't double date, she meant it and I respected her for that but unfortunately/fortunately I don't give up easily wen I see a treasure cz dats wat she is.to cut d story shot;I cashed in wen her distant relationship had a crack cz of lack of attention from d guy,I took d opportunity being closer to her but deliberately avoided raising d issue abt her dating me.nevertheless am a social guy,I hang out with scores of babes casually but none of has ever won my heart as dis babe.wen i was almost given up she showed up to my room a week after our degree exams, hugged me for the 1st time with tears in her eyes and said those words that has entirely changed my world:"it's u I want". cldnt believe it.so guy with women;never say never. gudluck |

dyn1800:His Lordship Most Rev.Dr Matthew Hassan Kukah he is now a Bishop not 'father Kukah' show my bishop some respect he nobi ur mate. |
Simitrendy:Boko haram concerns everybody,it should.u may have the luxury of being indifferent to it coz u hv nt been directly effectd, none of ur relations has bn victim of bomb blast.thats the mentality of many Nigerians especially those who ar nt living in the troubled area.they watch on t.v,read the news and just type 'RIP' and move on with their business,it doesnt concern them.but crying out loud, those thousands who hv lost their lives since BH started were somebody else's brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, children, friends, bread winners and they are still grieving coz their loss is irreplacable and u ar here asking what concerns NLC with B.H,thats gross insensitivity.its hightime we Nigerians stood up against this security challange facing our dear country, speak with one voice, develop feeling of empathy nt superficial sympathy to the relatives of the victims cz evn if u ar nt directly affectd,u ar indirectly affectd.#enof of the indifference. |
Bolade005:ar u serious @who is Mr Kukah?ar u a Nigerian?who does not know tha renowned cleric who never feel intimidated to stand 4 d truth right frm obj regime in oputa panel.mehn if spend a minute with this Bishop ur mentality abt Nigeria wil automaticaly change.was opportuned to schl in sokoto, was there when he was installed as the Bishop of Sokoto diocese,u need to see how the Muslims filled the arena u wld thnk that it was a muslim Iman instead of bishop that was being installed.his close friend His Eminence Sultan Abubakar of Sokoto evn had to release his boys quater for the bishop guests who came late wen the accomodation in the hotels were filled up.he teased Sultan for stealing his show because because their common friend the Obi of Onitcha chose to stay at Sultan's instead of Bishop's quaters.dnt let those haters who know nothng abt Kukah tell u otherwise; His Lordship Most Rev.Kukah is the only true statesman that Nigeria can ever have, the Pride of Christianity, his religious tolerance is unqual no wonder he is always on the Pope's top list of the delegates of conflict resolution to countries troubled with religious conflicts. |
dnt let ur mind be clouded coz the other gal's so called gud manners.u shld ask urslf whether the virtue she display is inborn or just window dressing, forced out of low self esteem inorder to please u who is high abv her in education.the graduate gal may jst being herself to u cz she feels she has nothng to prove,as in she is beautiful, educated,u stil expect gud manners?come on man thats a rare combination, only very few ladies out there have such qualities,(i thnk only my babe,a beautiful,1st class(4.8cgpa)graduate of ind.chemistry, and very very gud mannered).what am i trying to say?u cnt have it all,wl advice u go 4 d graduate,u ar better of with her,the odds favours her,she has 2/3 of qualities while the other has 1/3.i bet that if the latter is even beautiful, lets leave being a graduate, dat she may not be that gud mannerd and humble.fact:beautiful and/or intelligent(highly educated)gals ar most times arrogant.so make ur choice.wish u well. |

NYSC Bars Posting Requests from
Mgt Staff, Govt Officials
NYSC,
Adebiyi Adedapo in Abuja
The management of National
Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has
warned senior staff of the
service and top government
functionaries against seeking
concessional posting for
prospective corps members.
NYSC, in a circular dated
September 4, dispatched to all
directors, heads of units and
state secretariats noting that
such request would not be
honored from any staff
irrespective of its status.
The circular reads in part: “Staff
and members of the public
should therefore not bother to
forward any name for
concessional deployment, instead
such prospective corps members
should be advised to go online
and make their choice.”
THISDAY checks however
revealed that the instruction
which emanated from the
Director General of NYSC,
Brigadier General Olawunmi
Johnson, is not restricted to
management staff of the service,
as it would be extended to top
politicians, political office holders,
senior civil servants and some
traditional rulers who might have
been granted such
privileges in the past.
A competent source within the
NYSC revealed that the DG
instructed all the departments
involved in the mobilisation
process to dishonor any request
for concessional posting
irrespective of who may be
involved.
“The DG has instructed that we
should not honour any request,
even if it comes from the
National Assembly or the
presidency, he was sure that
President Muhammadu Buhari
would not encourage such
indiscipline,” the source noted.
According to the circular with
reference number NYSC/NDHQ/
CMD/35/T/230 signed by the
Director, Corps Mobilisation, Mr.
Anthony Ani, since corps
members have the opportunity
to choose their preferred states
for national service, NYSC staff
should educate their candidates
on the new system.
“You may recall that during the
2015 Batch ‘B’ pre-mobilisation
workshop held in Kaduna, the
director general informed all
workshop participants and the
public that prospective corps
members would now choose
where they would want to be
deployed for national service as
they register online.
“In view of the above, you are to
educate members of the public
accordingly, and staff and
members of the public should,
therefore, not bother to forward
any name for concessional
deployment, they should rather
advise such
prospective corps members to
go online and make their
choice.”
