I believe the answer is no, so the most important thing is to wait and keep trying until we are able to log in and update our account. But I am not stopping anyone who has time to go and find out if the local government has finally gotten the remotest idea of what Npower is all about. |

Even Lagos Commissioner for wealth creation and employment himself said "I am yet to be briefed on the programme and would not want to speculate on anything". He is supposed to be incharge of this programme o, and he said he doesn't know anything. So you guyz going to your local Government una goodluck, as for I siddon de look, my eyes are glued on my computer screen here. |

hassanvic: What i can view here is that the frustration of not able to login is so disturbing but at the same time since the accessment of the site is local govt by local govt let us be patient and channel our issues to the appropriate quarters.#Lagosmainland. which quarters are you channelling your issues to? Is it the Local Governments that know next to nothing about Npower? or the Npower themselves that don't respond to mails, facebook, twitter and chats on the npvn portal? |

Npower sef, they don't even consider security and privacy, up to this moment I can still login to someone else account without the person's knowledge, I just wanted to confirm if they have really started deployment as some are claiming since I can't login to mine yet, but I am still seeing 'yet to be announced' so where are those people getting their info. thats btw but I still don't understand why they are leaving people's details so exposed like that, I can even edit everything including the BVN! My advice to those that have logged in is to try and change their password if it is working. thanks |

AutosBay: It's just patience as far as your name is on the list you will login but that December 1st commencement is African time, I was at Amuwo Odofin LGA today, in fact it was from the gate I was attended to, they even told me some people came last week for where no news, all I will say is just be patient, and all those saying chrome. Mozilla, it is not the cause, I think most that logged in their Lga has been activated, so they feel it's chrome browser, na lie, if u like use NASA browser u will never login until ur Lga or details has been loaded into their portal exactly, I don't know which I find more annoying; my inability to log in or the disturbance of those trying to teach me how to use the internet. I just don't want to vent out my frustration on those busy body sabinus them, if they have common sense they would try to understand that the login problem is peculiar to some local government in some states especially Lagos, but they wouldn't reason well, to them we Lagosians don't have access to chrome browser or there are no Cyber cafe in Lagos. Na Npower crew I blame sha for keeping mute. #n-teachMainlandLagos. |

IamPrince1: OP please let her know that I just made some contacts few minutes ago concerning this issue.pls tell her to calm down coz from inner source confirmed that something is cooking for her and the rest of other first class graduates. None of those guyz including those of Hausa origin are yet to be honoured so it is obviously not tribalism but administrative incompetence from the school.I am happy that now all eyes will be on them to take the right decision, thanks to nairaland because if nobody would hear about her and the school. who knows with this the school will start acting the way they should. once again no tribalism in play but what i am saying that they should honour whosoever deserved to be honoured be it Haruna, Okeke or Balogun. long live UDUS: the Most Peaceful University in Nigeria like you said let them do things the way others are doing it! so that the school will attain national recognition, they irony of it is that as they hide their best students the school itself will remain unknown.Nevetheless it is still an honour to pass through Danfodio. as you said let this Ms Stella case bring an end to such mediocrity in the school, let them call all of the best students and reward them accordingly |
Education › Re: Stella Chinelo Emelife: UDUS Best Graduating Student And Injustice by castel428(op): 12:49pm On May 26, 2016 |
Paretomaster: congratulations! to her, though we don't know what d school hav in stock for her, but I know they do retain their best students.
the recognition might not be enough, but she was recognised at least in the school little way, UDUS is a good school with little social orientation, probably due to the religious nature of the state.
for those claiming tribalism, did u think she will be allow to graduate with a first class if it's because of her tribe?
someone also talk about d school being too peaceful, and too silent, is dat a crime?
frankly if u r looking to read, and study well, na UDUS o, but the social life is near zero..
proudly Danfodite!!! you made a point bro. Didnt say its not possible for them to still have something in stock for her but they should at least let her know that something is cooking. UDUS needs to brace up in other to catch with others, they should not operate in isolation.what is worth doing is worth doing well. nothing stops them from telling there and then that she will be retained and they will start working towards making it possible. having said that, UDUs is still a great institution but honestly they need to change asap |

BillBlogger: Which school is still using typewriter? That certificate can be easily reproduce.
This shows and confirm the 'op' statement.
The University better brace up for excellence and advancement. that is notification of result. the problem with UDUS is the cultural orientation of Sokoto state as a whole. they are simply more Islamic than Mecca |
Education › Re: Stella Chinelo Emelife: UDUS Best Graduating Student And Injustice by castel428(op): 12:41pm On May 26, 2016 |
IamPrince1: Danfodites indeed. I now realised that the so called danfodites are reason why such great institution as Danfodiyo remains below ranking even lower the some state universities! Others are busy celebrating their schools and their best graduating students thereby pushing their institution to the spotlight but Danfodites are no where to be found. even to create ordinary thread promoting the school like others do, they cant now when someone has offered them the opportunity by creating such like this they come here spewing thrash. OP thank you for this opportunity of pushing Danfodiyo to the spotlight because i feel embarrassed anytime I was asked where I graduated from because the next question will be 'which school is that?' I will now have to add 'Sokoto' to the Usmanu Danfodiyo before they will know, and sometimes will sarcastically add 'oh that Hausa school? I am presently serving in Lagos and this is what I encounter all the time. But because I know my school and what It takes to graduate with 2.2 from there not to talk of first class, I have to always hold my head up to defend the school and my 2.1. It is not easy to defend when you have unjustly termed a dullard even before you open your mouth to talk just because you graduated from UDUs which they hardly hear of.It is quite embarrassing that the head teacher of Economics in PPA had to hang around the classroom from the first 3weeks whenever I was teaching Economics to the senior classes because she didnt have the confidence that a 2.1 graduate of Economics Education from UDUs was gonna be competent.I had to go extra mile to prove her wrong. Now someone that bagged first class in Applied Chemistry (Industrial Chemistry) with whooping CGPA of 4.86 was totally ignored by the school and all you so called Danfodites could was to be commenting rubbish, further proving to the whole world your ineptitude. It is better to keep quiet be assumed a fool than to open your vocal cavity, removing all doubts what you are. Congrats Dear. It's quite unfortunate that such rare brain as yours will be slaughtered on the altar of tribalism. My advice, fu.k them and find your way and obtain your Msc if you havent, possibly if you can get it outside the country the better.great opportunities await you coz you are a prized asset any institution will like to have. well said bro. we Alumni are the ones to push the school to limelight as someone suggested. can you imagine that someone here is saying that he was hearing the name of the school for the first time! |
Education › Re: Stella Chinelo Emelife: UDUS Best Graduating Student And Injustice by castel428(op): 12:33pm On May 26, 2016 |
enigma2007: I am sorry o! I am just hearing the name of that school for the 1st time...
How influential and powerful an educational organization becomes is tied to their powerful alumni network. A school without notable or powerful alumni network ( or individuals) will find themselves schemed out of things easily or struggled to be recognized.
A sch that comes to mind with a powerful Alumni network is "UNILAG". They simply have powerful individuals scattered along all the major sphere of Nigeria and this gives them the clout to lobby out things that could negatively affect the sch or lobby to have their own recognized when the situation calls for it.
In my own opinion, influential grads from this sch should bring out this sch into limelight nobody else will do it for them. well said bro |
