A man Identified to be Ichapi Peter has broken our Jaws as he takes to the street of Makurdi City to deliver meals to people especially workers with tight schedule at their doorstep.

He uses his Moto cycle to carve a niche for himself. Many busy workers including Bankers, Vendors, Tailor, Police officer in the state can attest to the satisfaction they have enjoyed from his meals.
He has been spotted doing his delivery at different times and location in Makurdi.
We couldn't help but share this adorable Photos of Peter.

The federal University of Agriculture Makurdi wishes to Announce cut off mark and other details for 2017/2018 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE. The Procedure, Eligibility, and Steps are as follows.


Eligibility for Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi (FUAM) 2017/2018 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
Candidates who selected University of Agriculture, Makurdi as first choice in the 2017/2018 UTME and scored 170 marks and above are hereby notified that the Admission Screening application form is now available:

Steps for Online Registration for Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi (FUAM) 2017/2018 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
a. Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira) only for UTME (service charge inclusive) via the University payment platform https://fees.uam.edu.ng

b. Candidates should print/collect a University of Agriculture, Makurdi UTME screening payment slip containing candidate’s JAMB number as User Name and Payment Pin as Password.

c. Candidates are expected to register online for the UTME Screening exercise using the Payment Voucher information by filling the UTME Screening Registration Form available on the University website http://entry.uam.edu.ng/utme (follow the guideline on the website).
d. Candidates are expected to provide correct information about their candidature on the University portal and make a printout of the online registration form from the University website and come along with it during screening exercise.

Payment Options for Fees/Charges Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi 2017/2018 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
Payment in the Bank or our website commences on Wednesday 6th September, 2017 and closes on Tuesday 19th September, 2017.

First generate your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) number: All payments must begin from the University payment platform at https://fees.uam.edu.ng

a. Go to the University website at https://fees.uam.edu.ng ONLY to generate your RRR number. Enter your Jamb Number and follow the instructions. (DO NOT generate the RRR from REMITA Website or a Bank Branch)

b. After generating your RRR number from the University website, choose any of the three payment options below to proceed with payment.

The University Portal has three payment options. The options are:

1. Internet Banking: Follow the instruction on our website at http://uam.edu.ng/Uampay-Details to make your payment on the portal using your bank’s ATM card.

2. Mobile Banking: After generating the RRR, logon to your bank’s mobile banking platform to make payment using REMITA if it is available for your bank.

3. Bank Branch: After generating your RRR on the university website, copy the RRR and visit any branch of commercial banks (nationwide). Complete the teller using the RRR you have generated and request to make payment on REMITA.

The Date, Time and Venue of your Screening will be communicated to you.

Summary of Steps are outlined below:

1. Visit https://fees.uam.edu.ng

2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number

We earlier made a report about the Wholistic Portion of Benue- Nassarawa-Abuja Federal road which collapsed on yesterday after a heavy rainfall.

Following Saturday Night's Rainfall, A part of Federal Road which serves as Access Road from Makurdi to Nasarawa, Abuja and other states collapsed in what appeared to be a landslide at Yelewata, in Guma Local government Area of Benue State. What is left of this part of The Road is just a tiny portion which I doubt could stand for long, with heavy duty vehicles plying that road.

Earlier today on our Facebook page www.fb.com/castnigeria we made a report stating that on NEMA official Twitter handles 7 trucks of relief materials was said to have been sent down to Makurdi, However, a Facebook user allegedly said that only 5 trucks of relief materials were seen. In Makurdi the state Capital of Benue State what could have been described as UNPREPARED FLOODING has just occurred again following the recent Rain fall. The flood seems to have taking over most of the water logged areas.

It was really raining as tho it wasn't rain again... But it actually rained Cat and dog!
So many areas of Makurdi where affected around 3:00am today... As students living around BSU (Opp CHS, Gyado Villa, Solar house...) woke up and found themselves in water.
According to some guys living just behind symbols, they said... Water was flowing through the doors into their rooms while in some rooms, the water was coming out under the floors.

Other areas affected is NYIMAN LAYOUT area of Makurdi, and the outskirts of NYIMAN popularly known as Ghana. The water Level there will not allow the people of this particular area to go about with their daily activities as their movement is being restricted by water.

Dangerous and Huge snakes has been always spotted every now and then in the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi (UAM).
According to a student by Name "Msotor Shedrack" the snake was killed around Block D hostel popularly known as Zamfara hostel.

He Shared Photos advising Student to always go to classes with their light.

The Non-Academic Staff Union of Nigeria (Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi) has officially called off the Stike which they embarked on over two weeks ago.

Recall the University NASU embarked on the strike due to many issues including half payment of their salaries, Owed Salary arrears e.t.c

Castnigeria.com gathered that the agreement was reached between the FUAM NASU, its School V.C Prof. Kucha and other authorities involved. It was concluded that the Staffs will resume work

today 6/13/2017 and the V.C will be giving a Grace period till September to clear out the owed Salaries.

All School work managed by the NASU staff is expected to begin fully today.
