JABB:Uber minimum requirement for vehicle insurance now is a third party insurance. I'll advice you do 1 & 3 and then 2 later. |
Mckandre:Your item is yet to get on any aircraft and is definitely still in the host country which happens to be China. |
Lacomb:You're welcome, anytime. And do remember to go to the post office with a valid means of identification like your driver's licence, international passport or National ID card so you're not made to go there twice or more. |
Lacomb:It's most likely either of the post offices at Shomolu or Yaba. Is that our TV box arriving? |
Ever heard of SET (streaming entertainment technology)? It's a paid IPTV which offers a large collection of live TV, tons of recent movies as well as TV shows though this is still very much work in progress. I'm still sampling the trial version before I decide whether or not to take the plunge which goes for $20/month. I have quite a number of add-ons on my Kodi which give me a lot of free live TV as well as using other installed apks like LiveNetTV, Solid Streamz, TVPlayer, etc, but this SET IPTV beats them all in terms of stability and reliability. Check out the layout of the channels while accessing the EPG (electronic programme guide). Just beautiful! With the very large repository of channels on board, I really wouldn't mind going further with this.

lexylexy:Taxify has its office at Providence House on Admiralty way, Lekki Phase 1. The building is painted green/butter colour and is adjacent to the Forte Oil filling station. |
Lacomb:Feel free to get in touch when it finally arrives. Cheers |
modash:I understand how you feel. Trust me, there are days all I just want to do is throw away my modem as a result of some horrible service. |
teebell90:I'm not sure I get you quite correctly. The TV box connects to the Internet basically via 2 ways; WiFi and LAN (via the RJ45 port). Some boxes like the Xiaomi Mi do not have a LAN port. Just WiFi. For a smooth experience, 3G might not give you the desired results as I'm not sure any of our Telcos at present will do justice via their 3G services. |
J hoodboy:You can say that again! It's movie streaming until I can do no more ![]() |
modash:It's called KKONTECH and they service areas like Gbagada, Surulere, Ketu & others. You can Google them for more info. |
hoodboy:Hi Hoodboy, I use a fibre optic Internet service which gives me UNLIMITED internet access all for N10,500 per month. |
Lacomb:Hi Lacomb, I'll be surprised if it's your GT Naira mastercard you used for that transaction cos mine never works for international transactions, no thanks to CBN. If it was your dollar card, please visit your bank ASAP. |
Hi guys, I've not had the time to properly do a review of the Beelink Mini MXIII Android TV box. I thought if I posted a YouTube video that informed my decision to finally settle for this particular box would be a better idea. Honestly, I ask myself why I haven't gotten this box long before now instead of just dashing DSTV some free money. With various apps like Terrarium, Movie box HD, ShowBox, UKTvNow, Live NetTV, Solid Streamz, Time TellerTV, Kodi, the possibilities to access to live TV and most up-to-date movies are simply endless. Meanwhile, there are better boxes with more powerful specs out there and this one for me was just a test. I seem satisfied with this trial and would be going for a higher version soon. teebell90:Sure, I'll give a review as soon as possible. The seller's store is AmberYI's CE Top Store: https://m.aliexpress.com/store/storeHome.htm?sellerAdminSeq=227631796#/ |
I finally picked up my Android TV box today from the post office exactly 15 days after placing the order. I monitored the shipment so diligently on the AliExpress app as well as using the recommended 17track app (this is actually better). As soon as the 17track app showed it was now in the domain of NGLOS and NGSHOM (Shomolu post office), I had to pay them a visit. For those who wait longer for their items, I reckon it's because they wait endlessly for the post office staff either send them an arrival slip or send them an SMS. Well, I need not tell you what to expect from our government workers under such circumstances. Good enough I had watched so many YouTube videos about several Android TV boxes, setting mine up was a breeze. I got the Beelink Mini MXIII box with 2GB/16GB RAM & NAND respectively. It runs the Android 6.0 OS. For easy operation, I also got the i8 mini wireless keyboard. T'is time to rock this device.

nwolisar:You're welcome! |
nwolisar:Lol. I would've loved to adopt you, but I have all the kids I ever wanted. ![]() I have been using this Internet service for almost one year and it's been Internet streaming in all its glory. Well, just like any other service, there are those downtime experiences, but then the happy times far outweigh the sad times. Only recently, I stumbled upon a YouTube video on the Android TV box and got interested. Ever since then, I had watched several videos and browsed the internet checking out different TV boxes until I settled for the one I'm hoping to receive soon. Once I'm home, I hardly watch DSTv, and so feel I'm wasting away hard earned money. You know how boring those program repeats and old school movie line-ups can be Besides, with the unlimited internet access coupled with the Android TV box, DSTv will have to take a rest. |
teebell90:You bet I will. Stay tuned to this thread. |
Ativ:I am subscribed to a company called KKONTECH that has its fibre optics cabling running through my estate in Gbagada and I get unfettered access to internet download speed of about 10Mbps. I watch YouTube, Netflix & others on my Smart TV without any buffer all for N10,500 per month.

Seriously awaiting with bated breath the arrival of my own TV box from Aliexpress. With access to unlimited downloads via fibre optics, my DSTV box will surely get a well deserved rest. |
Loneley:In AliExpress, what I think you should do is check the various TV boxes and go through the ratings of the various sellers (5 stars is definitely better than a 4 star or less), their response time in delivery and more importantly, the reviews by previous buyers. This I think should give you an insight on which sellers you can trust. You may be lucky to have reviews done by Nigerians. Checking out a seller that has recorded quite a sizeable amount of sales of your desired TV box is surely advised. |
DBlackCeazer:Yes, that's the exchange rate I used when I placed some orders last night using my VISAcard. |
iliyande:Appreciated. |
iliyande:Thanks for the info. I have never bought anything on AliExpress 'cos of fear of scams. I just might consider this. I see you quoted it comes with free shipping down to Nigeria. How long did it take to receive your package? |
iliyande:Hi, where can I get to buy the Kii pro? I reside in Lagos. |

Pls let me be your neighbor. Or just adopt me, i'll do the dishes, wash ur car and cook for you.
