CavendishPlex: Are you about getting a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even a 4th grade Tokunbo or Nigerian used vehicle and would love to uncover any hidden faults before you part with that hard earned cash or you have that annoying light that has come up on your vehicle's dashboard which has gotten you so confused and you don't know what it means? The OBD2 scanner is your best bet!
How does it work?
This pocket-sized device when plugged into the ECU port of your car (usually beneath the steering wheel) is paired via Bluetooth with your Android smartphone/tablet PC that has the scanning app installed (e.g Torque Pro). With the scanning app on your phone or tablet, you run a comprehensive scan which uncovers hidden faults and also the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) bearing the faults popping up on your dashboard. With these generated DTCs, a simple web search tells you the exact meaning and area of concentration thereby avoiding a trial and error approach by your roadside Kazeem mechanic.

tioluwalasee: Nah they offer unlimited plans, they just have a fair usage policy of peak and off-peak times, which I don't really mind. The picture you attached is for businesses You're absolutely right. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. |

tioluwalasee: Anyone using ipNX in Yaba? or anywhere else? Currently using Tizeti but the service has really degraded. Used to get 2MB/s but now it’s more like 2Mb/s. Torn between Fiberone and ipNX but leaning towards ipNX because they have faster speed tiers like 20Mb/s for 23K as opposed to FoB’s single 10K for 10Mb/s Hi Tioluwalasee, I doubt if ipNX gives you unlimited downloads. I've used Fibreone for over 2 years in my neck of the woods in Gbagada and I haven't looked back ever since. On Fibreone, it's browse till you're tired. Looking at the ipNX data plans as attached, they have capped data allowance and isn't value for money laden. With the cheapest ipNX monthly plan of N10,500 you get 40GB of data volume. Please what do I want to do with that? For same price, you're guaranteed unlimited downloads on Fibreone. So, if Fibreone is available in your area, go for it.
