What I do nowadays is wait for the second season of premium shows to start airing to see if the reviews stay the same, then I join if they maintain status quo.

That is how you can avoid wasting your time with shows like Pluribus and co.

Unfortunately for me, im gonna have to watch that very pluribus when the time comes

The Housemaid........6.5/10 for me.

Not that spectacular like someone rightly noted, but not a bad watch either. The brezz shot wasn't bad too😃, na from beginning ah don know say that stair case go get role to play for the film 😄. Low-key there might be a second part to the movie, this one wey millie don turn Housemaid work to possible career choice

I've been waiting for so long for this kind of reaction from Ashur.
First time Ashur was being original, even Cesar was so surprised that he asked "what are you doing?"
E remain Procullus and Cesar's banny.

Dem just turn ashur to lover boy for this series. Not as malignant as he was in SBAS.

Two things I liked in this movie; 1) Micheal B Jordan playing a twin role and the western accent even though it felt a bit weird,
2) The soundtracks 🙂. Damn, country jazz music sef sweet o

Apart from these...omo, the film was just an average watch, especially the end( the one beforethe klansmen massacre). I was just like wth, everything was just happening too fast nd slow at the same time 😵‍💫.

There was literally a scene where Ashur came to realisation of his goof divulging of the plans to Proculus mid-scene while accusing Cornelia, Ceasar's wife.

Yeah, my bad...I posted my thoughts on the situation before watching the scene where he realized his fault.

But I low-key like the show of loyalty and respect between ashur and doctore. It's giving a softer and more human side to ashur that we didn't see in Spartacus : blood and sand

Nah, you haven't been paying attention. Ashur never did that. It was Proculus who killed him after Ashur boisterously slipped up about getting willed his properties and assets.

Yeah Proculus may have given the order..but I still feel like ashur intentionally said what he said hoping to get that kind of reaction from proculus. Remember his discussion with senator Gabinius just before the market scene

Lol, let's just say the temptation to watch these cool new TV series y'al be talking about finally got to me, coupled with the fact that I just got a new phone to support the one I was using before...although I didn't buy a new phone for the purpose of watching movies o 😅, the opportunity presented itself and I hopped on it..so who says i can't watch old and new shows simultaneously? That's why I have 24 on the aforementioned list, to keep the alphabetical order going...then I use my new phone for only the latest series..

The last kingdom just happens to be the last series I was randomly watching before I began my movie quest..so why not round it up once and for all

the last kingdom Season 5 (just rounded up with s4)
