Business / Help A Brother, I Want To Quit My Job. Recommend An Internet Business For Me. by Cedari: 1:01pm On Apr 14, 2017
Hello NLers, I have been in this blood sucking job for over 3 years now. It's a job that gives no room for personal growth, yet loaded with frustration. I currently earn a little above 600 US dollars per month.

I want to leave this job but need something to do. I have heard about how people make a living online. Is there any mentor I can follow to train me on this Internet business.

Please kindly help me. Am ready to work my b**ts off.

Religion / Re: Muslims In Ondo Worship On Church Land On Eid Day, Church Gives Free Speaker by Cedari: 3:25am On Jul 07, 2016

First of all. I saw earlier today on facebook that this happened in abeokuta and not in ondo like the op claimed. Then again a blogger will always be a blogger. They don't verify what they post.

I am a Muslim and i have lots of Christian friends. And I don't have any problem associating with them. My best friend is a Christian and he has always said it that his best friend is a Muslim. We lived together in the same room for years. So this is not new to me.

For all those asking if a Muslim can do this. Yes he can. I've seen this happened the other way round before. And I didn't see it as a big deal. So I don't see why this should also be a big deal. Also see this.

And i see one Aisha96 down there saying somethings I don't understand. You were never a proud muslima. And no one is forcing you to remain a Muslim. Please just change to a Christian already and spare us the story. You have the right to worship what you believe in. You can modify your believe. It's a free world.

Aisha's word really hurts you, but that's the truth. Also, if you claim to be a true Muslim, you will not have Christian as your friend...... maybe you don't follow the Quran anyway.

I am a proud muslima, a devoted one at that. But I also like being honest at all times.

Nonetheless, I think I may be forced to have a rethink and retrace my steps regarding the darkly controversial nature of the religion I believe.

A separate section was created for the mulims so that they wil be able to discuss better and have their thoughts well organised, but why can't same be said for the Christians?

Is Nairaland actively upholding tribalism/favouritism, or what? The same Nairaland that included in its laws that we should not disregard people's race, tribe, religion?

Talk about blatant hypocrisy. Honestly, I find it very irksome that I'm first required to accept the "islamic proclamation of allah being the only true sovereign presiding over the whole universe", each time I want to drop a comment on an islamic thread.

Please, Seun needs to look into this matter, and see to it that it is appropriately resolved.

However, I don't honestly care much though, because this one-sided system only stands to prove that Islams are afraid of their vague, sphinx-like beliefs being subjected under the powerful lens of thorough scrutiny and questioning and being brought into the glory of light. Their greatest fear is that once rational people begin to invade their threads unrestrained, then gradually, their lies will be pointed out, one by one, in the glaring eyes of all.[/b]

Thumbs up Aisha.

Career / Want A Change Of Work. Advice Me. by Cedari: 5:43pm On Jun 24, 2015
Fellow Nairalanders, there is no single fulfillment in my job. I hate my job. I have been working in a hotel for almost 3 years now and it's becoming boring to me. I feel like am doing the wrong job at the moment. My salary is a bit okay, at least to my level. But to be sincere, I really don't like the job any longer. I have decided to take up a course in the IT field. I love IT. Am so confused on which course to take right now because I don't want to go for a course that won't pay out at the end of the day, thereby wasting my money. Kindly advice me on any course you think might be at high demanding in the market. Most importantly, a course that can make me independent.
I can afford a course up to 200k naira. please I need your advice on which course to do.

Romance / Washing Your Fiancee's Underwear. Right Or Wrong ? by Cedari: 3:32pm On Nov 22, 2014
For a very long time i have been in this argument with a friend who is an unrepentant laundry man for his fiancee. He's a specialist in washing underwear, which he always boast of as a show of true love. to me it's sheer stupidity to do so. but since he finds joy in doing it, I really do not think i have a problem with it. Yesterday, i faced a huge challenge on this topic, as two other friends confessed to doing the same thing to their partners. I do not want to be too conservative. I just need you guys to help me out. Is it right or wrong to wash my partner's underwear ?

Romance / Why Do Girls Discuss How To Live As A Single Mother When They Not Married Yet ? by Cedari: 4:41am On Oct 22, 2014
With due respect to all the female Nairalanders, I would like to ask this simple and singular question of mine. It's scary these days when I hear girls (singles), discussing how to get on with their lives if they eventually divorce after they get married.

In all honesty, I think some girls have already destined themselves to divorce, because I don't understand why a single lady would discuss "How to live as a single mother" all day, if she's not planning to divorce after marriage.

Dear Nairaland quintessential girls, what is the purpose for that discussion ? Is it a precaution ?

•she doesn't respect you
•she doesn't appreciate you
•she is a moaner
•she compares you to her father all the time.

divorce isn't even needed now. man up & give her father a call. break it down to him how he has failed as a father to bring up her daughter the proper way.

tell him how disappointed you are to have been scammed to marry a damaged good(his daughter). tell him you are few inches away from driving a dagger into his daughter's heart & if care is not taken, he would be burying his daughter instead of celebrating christmas....

trust me, things would change......

Yeah. The way people are bashing her on this forum is annoying.

Did she make any mistake in getting a car for herself?

I saw a post you shared on business section where one guy said that Linda Ikeji and her blog will soon die and while Nairaland will be booming.

On a thread about comparison of her curve with Joseyln dumas own, a girl made a comment that Linda has money without brain(how come she own and writes a blog, then?)

Nawa O, hatred! undecided

Bad belle go kill them finish. I lyk Linda Ikeji, she's a model. An epitome of integrity.
Romance / Re: Ladies, What's Your Take On Long Distance Relationship? by Cedari: 6:56pm On Sep 10, 2014
Am currently into one, I keep hating the day o made that decision. Like seriously, it's a useless one. LDRs is nonsense and doesn't worth it at all. I stay in d Middle East , she's in Nigeria. I am trying to be faithful but konji wan kill me. Though am still faithful but looking for every available means to opt out. I consider it as a complete waste of time.
Romance / Re: What Is Your Reason For Being In A Relationship? by Cedari: 6:07am On Sep 10, 2014
It's a natural thing. Am a workaholic, always busy. If not with work, certainly with books and my phone. But the vacuum of a lady is always empty irrespective of how busy I am. Each time I talk or chat with one of my babes, I feel complete, relieve and cool. Nothing has ever given me that special feelings.
