can I use 75ah 12v car dry cell battery for this set up and how long can it last for a set up like yours?
@ceejaay

don't waste ur money buying a car battery, brand new 75ah deep cycle battery ain't expensive

sentix:
How can u configure your batteries to charge from solar and also from electricity. I mean what can I use to switch.

u dont need any switch, both will do just fine together with no problem, have been using mine like that, my charge controller stops charging automatically when ever theres phcn light

.

Nosaghae:
I have this battery. Ceejay can u pls recommend an inverter that is not expensive for me? Thanks.

depends on ur load,
what's ur load

durumibaka:
But my ups is 24v, can 100Ah 12v work for it?

if ur ups is 24v, then u need (2) 100ah batteries connected in series or go and buy a used 12v 1.5kva ups,
ur 24v ups can't work with ur one 100ah battery

thanks for patronage

durumibaka:

a charge controller can be used to check battery level,
for those of u using the the ups as inverter and u don't like the beeping noise, disconnect it and buy a 20amp,30amp etc charge controller that has screen display, it must have screen display ,it enables u to see ur battery level, it also helps save ur battery from dying on u,
*****the charge controller has a voltage timer, which switches off everything automatically when the battery voltage is low, mine lowest voltage is 10.7v but I set mine to 11.9 ,when my battery voltage falls to 11.9 the ups goes off by force,
don't connect ur battery to ups,the battery is connected to the charge controller, the charge controller feeds the ups,

Okaakoko:
Thanks boss. This one is actually a 24v ups. I got it without batteries, and I was thinking its a 12v ups. I tried it with 12v car battery, it was just making noise. That was why I came here to ask. I later tried 24v and it worked. I will condemn the internal panel, and turn it to a 12v inverter. Thats my plan

24v setup is good but the problem is u must have 2batteries, na for big men wey get money, and if u want to increase ur battery,u must buy another additional two batteries, na money dey disgrace man pikin,
I am not sure changing the panel to 12v panel will work cos the coil inside the ups is 24v coil, I will advice u to go to Oshodi arena and get a very good 1500 12v ups or take urs there and swap but u go add money to swap although 12v and 24v ups are same price there

Hello Ceejay80, please can you help me buy the clip fan. I've been looking for it everywhere here in Calabar for over 2 months now and I can't find it. Please I need your assistance.

OK,
the one available is the 12v type, I prefer it to the first type I was using, the coil burns out and its unrepairable, the u can get a matching motor for this current one I am using and it stronger

Okaakoko:
