laithanman:
pls uncle ceejay! Do i need nokia sw tv viewer wit n97 2 watch dstv or d tin is inbuilt wit N97. Cos i av an offer 2 swap my 6760s+12k 4 d N97. & is it economical 2 do d transactn. I'll need your response urgently so as 2 know wheather 2 go on or not 2

NOKIA N97 DOES NOT HAVE INBUIT DVB-H, SO U WILL NEED TO BUY THE TV RECEIVER FOR IT,AND IF U WANT A HONEST OPINION FROM ME, THEN U DONT NEED TO SWAP UR 6760 BECAUSE OF THE DSTV, NOKIA 6760 IS ALSO COMPATIBLE WITH THE DSTV MOBILE AND U WILL ALSO NEED THE TV RECEIVER FOR IT, THAT 12K U WILL USE IN SWAPPING UR 6760 WITH N97 ,WHY NOT USE IT IN GETTING THE RECEIVER AND SAVING URSELF SOME CHANGE IN UR POCKET, EXCEPT U LIKE THE N97 FOR ANOTHER REASON. whats ur email,i will send the tv dstv apps to u now

My bigbrother channel is no longer showing blank screen, na advert about bigbrother dem dey show now on it, incase urs is still showing blank screen, just re subscribe or restore mobile tv settings from option and get new subscription

whats ur email so that i can foward the application to ur mail and about the receiver, u will have patience and get a used one at a cheap rate from 3 nairalanders by the end of this month

Remove memory card and restart the phone, if it persists, FORMAT ur phone by typing *#7370# goodluck

What is it u want to buy from ebay? My numbers are 08028789799, 07032659200. ceejay80s@yahoo.com

Probably ur calls are diverted, guy Change ur sim it wont kill u

When u get UPDATE ERROR while installing the mobile tv app all u need to do is to format ur phone and the first thing u instal after formatting is to instal the mobile tv app

cantell:
Not working with Nokia E5.
I can't open it.

try dis other option> go to ur device manager or type *#0000# click option and check if there's a new update, if there is,then update it and try installing the apps again but if there's no update, then u have to have patience for the new update to come.

Guy's Kasala don burst o! A very close friend of mine who is working with MTN dstv mobile department reliably told me that MTN will soon stop the dstv mobile service in Nigeria dew to coverage logistics thats why they could'nt start the subsription as earlier announced, i wonder how i go take enjoy my N97 without dstv,

emmm! But b4 they started the free services, they were charging 1,500 on ZTE PHONE,even if they are going to stop, dnt 4get tha Globacom is offering the service too

Sorry paris ,E71 not compatible

prince paris:
Guys, i am jealous o. Which one of these apps or devices is compatible with E75 before i vex.

never vex, the nokia tv receiver is very well compatible with nokia E75

paid for 4 mobile tv headset today and have received my payment comfirmation
i only bought 4 of this gadget and i have 3 people ready to buy namely: aieromon, spacyzuma and ozegbe, i probably might not sell the last one remaining cos i might get nokia n8 or c7 or c6-01 anytime,
but meanwhile, is anybody's ss2 still showing?

hyuga:
@aeiromon,an headset which receives dstv signal, m kinda confusd, is it nt lyk d receiver d mobile tv app connects to?

u should be a bit confused cos u did not start the thread with us, there are new phones in the market now, and there are 3 types of dstv receivers for mobile phones, (1). SU-33W (2).MOBILE TV HEADSET (3). DRIFTA , mobile tv headset works for only 4 phones for now N8,C6-01, E7,C7 . And su-33w receiver works for about 24 or more s60v3.2 phones , the drifta itself is compatible to some phones and laptops, but i will advise u to have patience and buy from aieromon because it will be cheaper from him since its used,no fear, the receiver no dey spoil, na my receiver old pass for nigeria because na me first use am since january 2009, so cool down small, their tv headset will be made available to them by the end of this month

I download all apps from Ovi store via my Mozilla Firefox.
1.Create an account with http://store.ovi.com
2.Choose phone model
3.Search for application and click the icon
4.When the details come up,click send to friend.
5.When the new page opens,go to the address bar and change ''sendtofriend'' to ''download''.
6.Hit the Enter key and Firefox pulls down the file for you.
I've gotten all apps from Angry Birds to NFS Shift to Chess Classics through this method.
