Well, the LiveTv app installs but doesn't work.

I just did a *#7370# format.

Then I tried the Mobile TV app, and GLORY BE TO GOD!!! It actually installed. For the 1st time ever ever EVER !!!!

It runs too. plugged in the headset and it began scanning for channels. It saw Glo's DSTV MOBILE NIGERIA package and all 15 channels, and I tried to purchase it, but it shows a "SUBSCRIPTION NOT ALLOWED. CONTACT SERVICE PROVIDER. -1252" error.

Will try again on my MTN SIM

THANK GOD we are getting somewhere with the headset, @aieromon u don here? @spacyzuma pls dont uninstall dat tv apps, got to setting and restore factory setting then try again, restoring factory setting wont format ur phone but clear some minor things like gprs configuration settings

I dey sure say i recognise dat problem on aieromon's N8, na dat same problem wey we get when dstv mobile no gree work for a month, remember dat the thing go just dey find channels without hope,i even formatted my phone more than 8times,until dstv personel called me and told me to go to my phone tools> settings>general>factory settings> and restore factory settings

@aieromon,E get something wey u neva try, if u format ur phone, instal LIVE TV, that one wey we use for 5800,n97,x6,5530. after installing the live tv, try am with the headset, but remember after formatting ,dnt restore backup from memory, just instal only live tv and test, i remember aieromon told me that the LIVE TV installed well on N8, that was when didnt have the headset, @spacyzuma that ur phone needs reinstalling the firmware again,the only way u can do dat is by PC nokia software update,

Spacyzuma i suppose flog u koboko and rubb peper for ur body, i don tell u b4 say if u NO format ur phone u can never install any new dvbh tv player, pls format ur phone and dnt restore backup from memory card, concentrate on the tv apps, instal the LIVE TV on the phone,if it installs and cant connect with the headset, format the phone again and install the mobile tv for N8 that aieromon sent to us, never carry ur phone go nokia 'cos dem go stil format am,the koko is if u format the phone and restore backup,it wont work

Did u format the phone b4 installing the live tv?

@spacyzuma i sent u a text message,hw far on the reply, i fit call u for free midnite call or u call me on midnite call make we do experiment on that ur phone, but download the live tv app for touch screen phones and the mobile tv app for n8 and keep it in ur memory card, me and u go work on ur phone.

@spacyzuma pls lets try this trick, format ur phone and dont restore backup ,install LIVE TV apps, the same one we use for nokia 5800 and n97, if it instals then see if it will connect with the headset and if it dosen't, we try another strategy

The only people wey get the mobile tv headset is aieromon and spacyzuma

my brother no be my fault, all these holiday wey we get dis week,last week and election no movement na him dey cause am,custom officers no dey excluded from the holidays, i go receive am anytime b4 friday,and it could even be today,but na only 2 dem say dem send and that the item is out of stock,i go tell dem to return my balance dis week, me too i don try, so na only 2 of the headset dey

if u checked earlier posts,u will see dat some mobile tv streaming apps site link has been pasted and for now streaming no worth am for nigeria, but e dey work very well in uk,us,india etc.

Mine is showing, i told u guys what to do but e be like say una no dey read post, na only to post una dey do, go to ur mobile tv setting and restore mobile tv setting and retrieve subscription, make sure say money dey ur phone to subscribe
