I've noticed something very crappy about dstv mobile.i've been moving around from lagos to benin to kaduna to kano this past week and i discovered all the towns use different frequency signals.You have to restore original settings and retrieve subscription to view the channels.
Imagine moving from Kano to Kaduna back to Kano,i have to retrieve a fresh subscription everytime(which is not free)

retreiving subscription is 5naira ,since that particular sim has been activated on the phone,u dnt need to get a new subscriqtion,all u hv to do is retreive subscription which is just 5naira

hayprof:
The bluetooth protocol of d tv receiver na issue, r dey dumb?

zenus:

@edidem u funny,u called me up on phone about the receiver and i gave u a price dat is lesser than 15k and u are here saying u cant afford the receiver for 15k. E make sense? If u dey serious ,call me 08028789799, 07032659200. After we talk price finish,if u are in lagos,come and pick it up in ny office 2morow but if u are not,u will need to pay to my account including courier delivery fee. No fear i no be yahoo yahoo,many nairalanders don come my house and office for dis device. Wilfem and user32 dey abuja,they paid and received their goods,so no fear ,stealing ur money no fit make me richer instead e go hinder me,by the way i work and earn good salary so sun-temi and others wey know my office can testify. CALL ME

We fit dey tear our brain dey find file to delete inside private folder,maybe there is a file in old firmware version n96 that we need to copy to our own resource / private folder .guyz e dey complicating

@Power where u dey since?

initialize:
@ceejay

As if you self no dey price like that, I remember my experience with you. If you can give, you should be able to take.

see ur yeye mouth, no be u cause am, because i wan buy phone for ur hand na him make council catch me say i cross express instead of taking the bridge, at the end of the day i bail my sell for inside council motor, if not i would have given u more than what we bargained for

Wilfem:
Ok, let me know of that particular file, deleting it shouldn't be a problem. We're getting close

that is what i am trying to tell u, i dont know the particular file to delete and i am yet ready to gamble with my phone,the files i see there all has odd names and not mobile tv or dvb-h or esg etc,

@wilfem u are right, but i have tried some few things myself and nothing happened,i believe there is a file that is causing it,becos as of january mine wasnt showing on tv until i formated my phone,the restriction is even affecting some n96 with old firmware,its not a sim card problem becos when mine wasnt showing i collect my friend's 6220c and put my sim in it and it was showing on tv but i put his sim in my phone and it wasnt showing,i tried deleting a file from xplore and it wouldnt delete unless u connect ur phone to a pc and delete the file from ur pc.

No mind me,i no fit throw away my receiver and phone because of those useless super eagles
