The former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has advised the immediate past governors of Ogun and Imo states, Ibikunle Amosun and Rochas Okorocha, respectively, to surrender to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. Fayose gave this advice during the rumours about the alleged arrest of Okorocha and his wife, Nkechi , by the anti-graft agency. Fayose on his twitter handle @GovAyoFayose noted that regardless of whether the Okorochas' arrest was true or not, he knew that the day would come when EFCC would be going after the former governors. He went on to welcome Okorocha to what he termed the "EFCC Alumni Club" and enjoined the government agency not to "look away from Amosun" He said ," Just reading that Okorocha was arrested by EFCC. True or not, we knew this day will come. However, I welcome him to the EFCC Alumni & enjoin the commission not to look away from Amosun too. While I encourage them to surrender themselves as I did, I welcome Mr. Okorocha to the club." A Nigerian by name, Adili Ejike, was a very lucky man after he escaped death following the decision of Singapore's supreme Court to void his earlier conviction for drug-related offences. According to Nigeria's Foreign Affairs Ministry in Abuja on Wednesday, this is the first time in Singapore that a Nigerian convicted of possession of illicit drugs and sentenced to death would be set free. The statement read in part, " Mr. Adili Chibuije Ejike earlier sentenced to death for importing nearly two-kilogramme of methamphetamine has been granted an acquittal by Singapore's Supreme Court and released with no outstanding charges. "The Nigeria High Commission in Singapore in a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said 'a three-member panel that delivered the judgment was led by the Chief Justice of Singapore, Sundaresh Menon' The letter was signed by Head of Mission in Singapore, High Commissioner Akinremi Bolaji. According to the statement, " Ejike was arrested in November 2011 and since been behind bars till May 2019 when he was discharged and acquitted," The letter added, "The High Commission affirmed that the prosecution failed to establish that Ejike knew that the drug bundles in his suitcase were in his possession. In other words, Ejike was not guity of wilful blindness or deliberately shutting his eyes to the truth if his possession of the drugs. " The acquittal of Ejike had been termed locally as a miracle of God and I am elated that his freedom from death happened under my watch here as the Head of Mission." The letter however said, both the prosecution and defence agreed that he was in possession of the drugs, but that was sufficient to convict him and affirm the death sentence earlier passed on him by both the lower and appeliate courts. According to report, Ejike tsaid his childhood friend in Nigeria gave him the bag that contained the drugs to be delivered to someone in Singapore. The Nigerian mission said Ejike's claim raised an important issue about how drug peddlers had been using unsuspecting people as conduits to transport their at the risk of the lives of the possessors of such substances. The mission said, " There is a need for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to join hands with other Ministries, Department and Agencies, especially the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and the Nigerian Immigration Service, to develop a framework to rehabilitate such Nigerians returning from abroad into the society." https://exposeitworld..com/2019/05/nigerian-escapes-death-by-hanging-in.html

Dubai maybe a city with incredible State of the Art facilities, but there are DON'Ts you should also take note of. 1. Don't Use Your Left Hand In United Arab Emirates, and Asian countries such as India and Indonesia, it is forbidden to use your left hand as it is considered unclean. Traditionally, before the days of toilet papers, running water and flushing toilets, left hand was used for "cleaning up". This include men hugging women and vice versa, kissing on the cheek and lips, holding hands, snuggling or anything racier than these could land you in jail. A man meeting a woman is not expected to shake hands with her or even give her compliments. Also, you should not enter an elevator if a single woman is inside. Foreigners, especially women should be careful not to come in contact with the body of men 3. Places such as Beach, your car and even residential area, such behaviours are unacceptable. This doesn't mean that there is no dancing in Dubai or merriment though. There are night clubs where music and dancing happen all through the night 4. This is unacceptable in Dubai and could land you in jail. Learn how to control your temper if someone annoys you, even when the fault is from him/her. Never use your hand to express your annoyance. 5. According to Wikipedia, Risk is the possibility of losing something of value, such as physical health, social status, emotional well-being or financial wealth which can be gained or lost when taking risk resulting from a given action or inaction, planned or unplanned Many of us are afraid to take one first step because of previous painful experiences we have had in the past. I understand how difficult it is to take risk especially in business, but I still encourage everyone of you to move forward in life. Take each day as a new day and step out, even if you are scared as you do it. In this article, we will understand four truths about taking risks in life: 1. Taking risk is not the same as gambling: Sometimes I get puzzled when youths try to justify gambling by comparing it with risk taking in business. Now, you need to draw a thin line between risk taking and gambling. The former has to do with careful planning, with adequate research and deliberate investigation, while the latter has to do with throwing caution to the wind. 2. Risk Taking will cost you more than what you anticipated: Your expectations might not be met while taking risk but the experience gain is worth the investment. 3. Risk Taking provides clarity: Taking risk exposes your weakness and also bring out the best in you. What you value most, your passion and purpose in life will be revealed to you. 4. If you don't take risk just to please people, it will backfire quicker than you expected: Don't let discouraging voices stop you from making an attempt. People will say you will fail but at the end of the day, you will regret not taking that risk and develop your potentials. We should not be discouraged to make a bold step in life. It is better to take risk even if we fail to achieve something but gain experience, than do nothing and still not achieve anything. https://exposeitworld..com/2019/05/5-truth-about-taking-risks.html

The Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has advised Nigerians to declared war against insurgency in order to attain full civilization. He stated this on Friday in Jos at the annual cultural festival of Berom people of Pleateau, known as the Nzem Berom. Dogara, who chairman of the event, said the violence confronting the country must be put to an end at all costs. In his words, " I have said it many times, we cannot afford to lose the fight against violence and still keep our civilization. Any nation that has lost the fight against violence has always lost its civilization. Take the situation with the northwest where I come from, as an example, there are communities where you can't find anything as representatives of the government" "Police stations are gone, roads, buildings, hospitals and schools have all been destroyed. How long is it going to take us before we even get back to the position where we were prior to the breakout of violence?" He further noted he had reflected long on the issues pertaining to the violence in the country, and discovered that most Nigerians dwell on errors, which serve as fuel for violence. In his words, " Any person who utilizes his sense should know that it is highly impossible to take of just wiping out an ethnic group, except the God that created them decides to wife them out Himself" "Peace has always been obtained at the table of brotherhood. So, we can defeat violence in Nigeria if we are determined to do so and we have the leaders who are willing to do so. It is also an error to say that some people are being killed because of cattle rustling" https://exposeitworld..com/2019/05/nigeria-cant-attain-civilization-in.html Lalasticlala
