I feel the OP is the girl in question. There is no room mate. It's a ruse to divert attention and mask the story, just in case the dudeman has tentacles on NL. Parts of the story may have been doctored for privacy or out of shame. That's understandable though.

If this is true, it clearly explains the great difficulty she's having in kicking him out. She's fighting the battle alone and needs 'liver' to evict him. Who knows, she probably receives some 'down down Ys' and 'forward forward Xs' from him.

Anywhichway, I believe much has been said already. Whether the OP is the girl or the roomie, she knows what to do.

HMM!!! it is a long story.....
there is this very wonderful,caring,nice girl friend of mine.we live together.i must say,she is a caring person who loves to look out for others.we are very close and we tell each other things.the real gist now is,she has a boyfriend she has been dating and things are not really going smooth now for the both of them.
in the beginning,they were so much in love.i really admired their love,the way she always talked about him and the rest of it,you know the way we girls talk when we are in love.they were always calling,chatting,seeing each other and the rest of it.he works and is paid well.as in,the pay is above 100k,if it is true o,that was what i was told.UNTIL,
one day,the guy came to the house to visit her,i just got in from work and normal,i greeted them and gave them space.after he left that day,she told me ,he was coming to stay in the house with us for a while.why/what about his own house? i asked.she told me he was having some issues and he wants to get a new place and in order not to seem rude,i accepted thinking it was for a short while like in a few days or less than two weeks.you know? they continued their love plays and lovely couples thing.i liked it.it went on for more than 2 weeks, a month,a month and 2 weeks.he was still in the house.i was becoming worried.i kept asking when he would leave,she didn't know cos our expectations were quite the same according to his words.she didn't expect him to stay that long.he was becoming unbearable and we didn't know how to tell him directly.he is proud person,and he get quiet when am around,the worst was,when it was time to contribute money for food stuffs,light,gas and other things necessary in the house.sometimes,he would act like he doesn't know it is finished or he would give excuses about his ATM,delay in payment of salary, he is broke or he is having loan issues.as our guest,we would exclude him and do them ourselves or sometimes,he would contribute but the worst-est is,he doesn't do anything in the house at all.his own is go to work,come back, eat,watch a movie,make the longest calls and sleep.he even borrows money from her to go to work claiming he would pay back when he fixes his ATM card ish."liar of the universe.i dislike him so much"one day my friend was ill,i had to go to work.i did the dish and a few things i could,and because i was running late,i had to rush off,that day he was to go to the office in the afternoon.my friend stood up to do the rest of the house chores that there was.i told her to leave it,when i come back,i will do it expecting his brain to say,don't worry,I'll do it.she still continued and said don't worry,i know you'd be tired by then.go,i'll just do it but all he did was sit on the couch,operate on his system as usual and the next thing that came off his mouth was "hmm,if you faint and die,life will go on o.i hope you know" and he started laughing.i was shocked,she ignored him.after i left thinking he would assist her after all,she called and said he still didn't help her out.he has altitude,gosh!! sometimes he would flame up on issues that wasn't worth shouting or keep mute when a question is asked.she confronted him and expressed how she felt but he didn't change.she started complaining she was tired and that she needed space.but he wouldn't leave claiming he is still in love with her and he promises to change.this is the 3rd month now and she is fed up.i am fed up too.she doesn't really love him like before and if she forgives him,it means he would stay more.ladies and gentlemen,i don't wanna involve myself too much and look like a bad friend.i have said the best i can.what do you think should happen? do you think it is normal and if you were in her shoes,would you encourage her to take him back?
