Celebrities / Wofai Fada’s In-laws Reject Marriage To Their Son, Release Public Statement (Pic by CentralBank(m): 9:40am On May 05
Nollywood actress and comedian Wofai Fada’s in-laws have issued a public statement rejecting her marriage to their son, Taiwo Cole.

The Cole Family of Victoria Island, Lagos, issued the disclaimer in a public statement.

Engineer Kunle Cole signed a disclaimer on behalf of the family, stating that no acquaintances, relatives, or friends are aware of any marriage between their son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole, and Wofai Fada, and that no authorization was issued in this respect.

They advised the public to disregard any publications and papers distributed concerning the wedding.

Someone made this information public, along with the assertion that the actress is pregnant.

Recall that Wofai Fada shared beautiful photos of herself and her lover whose identity she concealed from the public. She shared these lovely photos on her official Instagram page.

The pre wedding photos captured her showing off her engagement ring while kissing her husband.

From the caption, it is noted that the couple will be tying the knot in this same 2024 even if an they are yet to announce the official date for the wedding.

The statement reads:

“Images and videos come to our attention showing our son Taiwo getting married to a Wofai Ewa in a traditional ceremony in Ugep, Cross River State. This serves to notify all acquaintances, family, and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island Lagos are not aware of any marriage ceremony of our Son Taiwo Olakitan Cole, neither did we grant permission nor support in this regard. As such, person(s) parading themselves as new members of the Cole heritage by virtue of this purported event, are not known nor accepted by the family. All publications and documents being circulated about this are to be disregarded.”

The food Prince Harry and Megan will eat, the hotel they will sleep in, flight expenses to and fro, security and other logistics, gifts, etc. Billions will be budgeted. Many are about to get richer in the month of May.

The amount of money to be spent on this visit will be enough to pay gratuities and pensions of ex military men and palliatives for widows of dead soldiers.

Business / Why Is It So Difficult To Close A Bank Account In Nigeria by CentralBank(m): 7:26pm On Apr 06
I've discovered that closing a bank account is a big deal in Nigeria.

The bankers will frown and refer you to the marketing unit, who will then give you a thousand reasons why you shouldn't close the account.

They will ask you to write to the manager of the branch where you opened the account, but the application never goes through.

I don't see the need having too many accounts.

Does anyone know the best and fastest approach to close a bank account in Nigeria?

Family / Re: Should I Be Concerned About Marrying A 39yrs Old Woman? by CentralBank(m): 4:29pm On Jan 24
Namaster:
Are you INSANE?

You want to marry a 40-year old Nigerian woman who'll have the upper hand in the marriage?

She's in a gynocentric society and has citizenship while you do NOT. She'll control and manipulate you however she wants and you'll just have to suck it up!

PLUS at 40-years old, this woman has had at least 3 home-made abortions. Her age plus abortions means her ability to carry a child to term is EXTREMELY low.

She knows this. That's why she has refused to try for a child when her biological clock is already DEAD and waiting to be buried.

Most women her age would be eager to get pregnant and have their own child. The fact that she's insisting on marriage FIRST is telling.

She wants a guarantee that she'll NOT die alone. That you'll NOT run away if she's bareen. That's why she's insisting on marriage.

She wants your companionship and doesn't care about what YOU want.

In short:

Go ahead with the marriage if you don't mind being controlled, manipulated and NEVER having children.

By the way when people talk about marrying for green card, they are NOT talking about Nigerian women.
A very detailed answer. OP Smile4mee01 listen to this man.

It is nothing new, Home DNA test kits have been in the market for over 15 years now.

Even without this kit, one can get a new toothbrush and have the child use it exclusively to brush his or her teeth and the father send both his used toothbrush alongside that of the child to the designated lab for analysis. The toothbrush Mohbad used while alive can provide sample for DNA testing the son.
Enlightening. Married folks should take this into consideration.

It won't show the answer immediately.
Would be sent to a lab and you'll wait for results after days
This means you can run the test at home without taking any of your kids to the lab. You'll only take the kit itself to the lab after taking samples by yourself right? grin grin grin

If yes, many people can do it without the spouse knowing.

Everyone knew the strike will be called off.

The labor leaders visited The State House just at the right time. The timing was appropriate.

First, they were invited during Independence Day celebrations. Forget about the talk about low-key celebrations. Very few people are lucky to be invited to the State House on Independence Day. I'm sure bank alerts were received. grin grin grin

Secondly, It was month end. Just the right time to get their own share of September revenue earned by the country. grin grin grin

But who cares? As the bankers bank, I shall continue in my duty of creating wealth for the masses.

The NLC is a well-known toothless bulldog.

Nothing pains me as much as the statement stock your homes with food.

How much food can a married man with three children stock?

And to think that some civil servants have not even been paid.

I'm not a fan of the FG, but the NLC is no saint either. Take a walk into any government secretariat and see what civil servants are doing.

I put it to the NLC that the civil service is an extremely unproductive wing of the government's labor force.

Shutting down the economy can be compared to beating a child and asking him/her not to cry. The pains will be felt by the masses, and not the government.

If they should go on strike, then let them shut down government establishments and leave the private sector alone.

Romance / Why Does My GF Like To Smell Me? by CentralBank(m): 7:54pm On Aug 27, 2023
This is my first thread on Nairaland and it is a weird one.

My GF likes to smell my skin every now and then. The parts she likes smelling most are my neck and back.

I asked her if I have body odor and she said no. Then why? She said she just likes it.

I don't understand. I've looked it up on Google and I've seen articles on pheromones and related stuff but I need the opinion of people who have had a first-hand experience in their relationships.

Thanks.
