Romance / 41 Years Old Single Lady Was Used And Dumped On Her Introduction Day by Cerebralbeauty(f): 10:41am On Oct 02, 2018
My name is Mirabel Umoru, I’m here to tell you my (true life) story of how I was used and dumped by all the guys I’ve dated.
Yes I have dated abusers, cheaters, woman beaters and deceivers. It was just as if there was a magnet that do attract them to me.
In the beginning, they would appear like a responsible men and a well-behaved men until after I got used to them, then they start revealing their true identities to me. They would start ignoring my calls, start abusing me both physically, verbally and emotionally. That wasn’t even compare to the ridicule and scornful gesture I got from people around me, because I couldn’t find the right man to marry me. You know how the society look at singles ladies who are above 30 years of age and are not married yet? And I was way above 40 without a responsible man in my life. My life wasn’t going smoothly at all and I was getting so desperate and frustrated. But the last man I dated changed everything for me.
I later found a man last year January who I thought was the right man for me. It was on my birthday, January 7th, I met Akin, a Yoruba guy. Akin was handsome and very homely. But one thing about Akin was that he was younger than me. I was 41 years old while Akin was just 31, but due to the love I had for him and more so, Akin carries a very matured look, so I ignored the age factor and decided to go ahead and have a relationship with me. Another issue about Akin was that he was jobless and had no reasonable source of income but I was also ready to sponsor him. I gave him Akin 5 million naira to start a business and also got a 3 bedroom apartment for him. Yes I could do that for a man because I am financially okay. I am a proprietress of a big school in Lagos so I have enough to spend on man like Akin.
So gradually Akin started his business and was making enough money, while our love life was blossoming and I felt like I was the only woman in the world. Even despite our age different, one thing I like about Akin was that he really behaved like a more mature man and I felt like a baby with him. He knew how to make a woman feel like queen. And that was what I wanted. My life was gradually getting perfect, with Akin beside me and my career flourishing, I was very happy with life. Akin will sometimes take me out and give me a treat. I was also satisfying him with all he wanted including having regular sex with him and I remember I also bought him a car worth 2 million naira. Akin, I was so much happy with Akin. So much in love with him. He was taking care of me like a princess. I even felt Akin was better than all of the other men I had dated in the past. Nothing could a 41 years old woman asked for.
However something happened by December last year. Akin and I had decided to visit my parent at Oredo in Edo state. I remember the first time I told my mom that I will be bringing my fiancé home by December, she was very happy. I could feel the tears of joy she was shedding over the phone. I was moved and likewise happy I was eventually going to make mama proud by getting married soon. My mom had announced to everyone including her friends in our town about my visit with my fiancé.
Eventually I and Akin decided to plan our visit. Akin was going to be busy from December 22 due to his huge customers, so we decided that I go first while he would make plans to join me by December 25th which was on Christmas day. I reached my hometown by December 20, with so much joy, because I felt my life was fulfilled. I had finally found the perfect one for me. When I got home, my parent welcomed me and everyone. I showed Akin’s picture to everyone who cared to know how my fiancé looked like. I promised them that my husband-to-be would be joining me by 25th so they could meet him. They were happy either and very eager to meet the lucky man.
By December 25th which was the said day, my mom and her friends had prepared food while all my friends and everyone at home was waiting anxiously for the coming of my fiancé. My dad also had invited some of his friends to come and witness the day of joy of his daughter. They had requested for palm wine to celebrate my day with me while we waited for my man. Akin was supposed take a flight on that day to Benin City.
To cut the long story short, we started waiting for my Akin to call me that he has arrived but I didn’t see any call. My father and his friends were getting impatience. Mama and her friends too was very eager. Everyone was getting anxious. I personally was getting restless too. The worst part of the situation was that when I decided to pull a call through him, he cut my call. I was surprised but didn’t let that bother me. So we continue waiting but we still didn’t see any sign of Akin. It was not long after I got a message from Akin
