what is wrong with a governor initiating the provision of Taxis ?

do you know how many deaths and amputees we have in Nigeria from Okada rides?
Or have you seen the moving coffins we call taxis in Nigeria?
The kind that you'll be riding and seeing the main road beneath you while sharp dirty springs are poking you in the buttocks
The man should be commended jo

Boladez and his twin jumobi abeg be quiet.
my friend shatap, the basic necesities of life ( food, clothing and shelter have not been met and ur there talking about okada)
if the so called taxis phases out okada,do u know the amt pf criminals that the state will have.
@ Queenisha, I respectfully disagree with your opinion that he should be buying or maintaning buses, if the average Man were empowered economically he would no have to choose an okada, this idea of providing temporary solutions instead of attacking the main problem which is poverty by wealth creation is just one of the endless and unproductive approaches that our leaders always use to address poverty in Nigeria.
u could not have said it better. i think these governors gain economically, financially etc from the poverty of this nation(may be spiritaully too tongue na naija be this any thing goes, them govnors dey too evil) remember fani kayodes statement?

the just need to provide nepa, light ,power generation plants or boost up their useless phcn ,plus other basic infrastuctures and a secured environs.

some one mentioned fashola . . . . . well he's trying but left to me he's misplaced his priorities, planting flowers all over lagos state huh its like changing ur suite to a very clean one and and ur undies are stinking.what happens to all the gradutes parading the streets of lagos day and night? how many of them have turned to armed robbers and are terrorising the state? good job fashola but flowers aint edible o! plus its expensive to maintain

hmmm AW wont learn his lessons now, angry angry its obvious from yesterdays match that arsenal badly needs an experienced defensive midfeilder, the only link btw defence and attack in yesterdays match was thru the wings of sagna and clichy, imagine oo shocked shocked angry

At the end of last season he compared man u's defence to that of arsenal and he discoverd that we conceded 10 more goals than them. upon all this he refused to sign a new and expereinced defender huh huh well its all good though with the way djouru performed he's obviously steped his game up. well i guess the defence will hold tight this season undecided

and what was that substitution he did with toure, huh shocked toure in the mid field? AW sef angry sad
is it pride thats wrong with wenger or what? huh

Wenger fit dash person hypertension o angry angry, any ways ill ease up on this epl b4 i get high bp

nice start for nasri grin grin nice blending into the team, he coluld also replace fabregas any day and time too.

all in all season, expectaions are as follows
van persie-----------------15 goals( with or with out injuries na him sabi he must deliver or)
adebayor------------------15---20 goals
nasri--------------------10 goals
walcott----------------10 goals
fab4--------------------7 goals
all the above = the treble for arsenal undecided undecided undecided undecided lipsrsealed grin amen

ALL IN ALL ARSENE KNOWS grin grin cool

@cola
am not justifying collection of bribes oo.

do u leave in nigeria? if u do u'll prbably understand where am coming from, constantly drivers and innocent passengers are shot dead b'cos of their unwillingness to part with 20 naira. and what happens? the culprits are never brought to book. the fact here is that corruption is too deeeeeeeeeeeep within the polity.

am not sure u'll like ur blood to be spilled in the name of whatever ur yacking about.

the solution lies in cuuting out the root or head of the corrupt, which is =an overhaul of aso rock. u cant scatter a sheep by striking one of them, when u strike a sherpherd the sheep scatters
