tsquare299:. Thanks so much. I really appreciate. Like Oliver Twist, lol, I have one more question, is the interview conducted in the Applicant's State of residence ( i.e where the person chose during registration) or everybody is meant go to Abuja for the interview? Once again, tanx so much. |
Is the invitation by SMS alone or through Email as well? The Cafe guy that registered my details made a mistake on my phone number. I discovered this after waiting several weeks for SMS for test. I was able to log in with the wrong phone number but to receive SMS now for Interview is a problem. Pls will they also send email notification? Thanks. |
It has crashed already. P3cash.org is also a pure scam. No body should go there. Be warned. |
BermudaTriangle:By killing every Nigerian alive ![]() Ok, I believe the best way to fight corruption is not by jailing people who were found in the act of corruption alone. This is important anyway. HOWEVER; - Government Institutions have to be strengthened. I do tell people that the main reason we have grand corruption in Nigeria is due to the fact that government Institutions are weak and corrupt. Government institutions in Nigeria are capable of ruining even an Angel. Remember the former Governor of Taraba State - Jolly Nyame, a Reverend Minister who wrecked the economy of the State. - Increased wages of worker. Wages and Salaries should be reviewed upwards to meet up with current economic realities in the country (inflationary pressures). This will discourage stealing of public funds to an extent. - By making Politics less attractive or reducing the cost of electioneering. This is a major factor that breeds corruption in Nigeria. Tell me how an average Politician can recoup his investment in politics with his / her salary alone, considering the high cost of electioneering campaign in Nigeria. Again, if salaries and other entitlements of Politicians are reduced, the high cost of running government institutions will be reduced. - Reducing bureaucratic bottleneck. This breeds corruption, so the use of sophisticated technologies to reduce loss in Man-hour will be of great help. - Providing basic amenities. This is the key factor. The economies of Asian Tigers such as Sao Tome & Principe, Singapore, Malaysia etc were built through entrepreneurship. This was made possible through conducive business environment such as availability of Power, good roads etc. When this is achieved, more jobs will be created leading to a reduction in "idle minds" in the society. Infact underdevelopment alone breeds corruption. - Anybody found in the act of corruption especially stealing of public funds should be should jailed till he/she returns TWICE the amount that was stolen. - The fight against corruption should not be selective, irrespective political Party affiliations. Thank you. |
jpphilips:. Low life. |
napoleon77:Next time, don't call someone you met on a faceless Forum like this a "Kid". It is so derogatory and a display of high sense of immaturity. Have a great day too. |
jpphilips:I have seen people like you in a faceless forum like this. I have taught people like you in the University, so I know your type. If you are intellectually fit as you claim, I challenge you to an hour debate in any of the popular fora on any national topical issue of your choice. I am waiting. |
Farmerforlife:I disagree with you on numbers 2 and 3. However, I respect your sense of maturity. This is how to counter an opinion that negates your personal views instead of resorting to insults. Kudos! |
BermudaTriangle:Why not? It behooves on me to point out the THREATS first, that is how it is done in SWOT Analysis. I want a better Nigeria irrespective of who is in charge. There are several economic policies of Buhari that Osibanjo must relax for him to succeed. What we need now are expansionary fiscal Policies(Reduce taxes and increase government spending) in order to stimulate the economy and ultimately lead to a growth in the real sector of the economy. And taking cognizance of the state of the economy, Lopsided growth Model is the way to go. This and more will be discussed in details in my next thread. Insults and name-calling will not solve the problem. |
imam07:. Take care |
BermudaTriangle:I know Prof. Osibanjo more than you do. Some of you ranting here on the social media have only seen Osibanjo on the Television. I have met and interacted with Prof Osibanjo countless times in his office, at the Faculty of Law beside the Senate building in UNILAG alongside Prof. Ndubuisi Nwokoma of the Department of Economics when I was processing my PhD admission. Prof Osibanjo is an intelligent gentle man and I just enumerated some factors that may militate against his performance in office taking cognizance of the level of maneuvering and gerrymandering in Nigeria's political space, holding other factors constant. I believe so much in objectivity. I will still create another thread to give my suggestions that will likely lead to his success in office, especially in the area of socio-economic development. As an Economist, I have studied the macroeconomic environment of this nation and I can see beyond your level of understaning. |
imam07:Keep ranting. Anybody that expresses a contrary view to your sentiment-filled opinion is an Ipod. Your thinking pattern is pathetic |
manlawal:. Are you calling someone that can take you out of servitude an Idiot? continue |
Saintsquare:. Have you forgotten so soon that you tagged a PhD holder a Kindergarten President? Even after being, a Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President, Acting President and then a President. Hypocrisy is a disease. |
yarimo:. Same way Osogbo weed is resetting your brain, thereby stopping you from grasping the economic debacle ravaging the nation. |
ERockson:. You have not said anything meaningful. If you were smart enough, what you would have done was to counter the opinion raised instead of resorting to this gibberish. Tribalism and sentiment have always been your Trademark. |
profhezekiah:. Says the hater of truth |
xstry:. Oya, we are listening. |
xstry:. Optimist do you have a contrary view |
I am not a supporter of PMB neither do I pray for him to die, but one thing is certain, peradventure Buhari dies today (which is common to every living soul), the situation of the country will be worse than it is now under Osibanjo. REASONS - Osibanjo is not a career politician and neither is he so smart like Idiagbon to manage the economy of a big country like Nigeria. Remember, academic qualification/prowess is different from Political power. After all, there are so many Professors in the Senate who have never sponsored nor supported any motion in the Senate. - Tinubu will wreck havoc on the economy of Nigeria under Osibanjo as the later is more of a Puppet to the former. Already, everyone knows his influence in the economy of Lagos State where he holds swear as a demi-god. Remember, Tinubu has already captured Finance Ministry (Adeosun) FIRS (Fowler) and so many other strategic agencies. Imagine when his 'boy' becomes the President. He may even auction the country. - The North will frustrate Osibanjo the way they did to Jonathan and this will drastically affect his performance. - The economy is already dead - There is high level of unemployment co-existing with galloping inflation (stagflation), there is liquidity freeze in the economy, there is oil price shock in the international oil market which has resulted in dwindling revenue of the country. Therefore, it will take years and smart President to revamp the economy of the country. MY OPINION! |
List their names. Anything that comes from APC should be verified first. The Party can lie. |
