Please fam, I own a Volvo V40 1996 model. Anytime I drive and apply the brakes, the brake pedal and the steering vibrates terribly. It happens when I drive above 60kph. I have done alignment and wheel balancing countless times still no improvement. Please what do I do?

Was this car converted from RHD to LHD?

Is that a cracked windscreen?

After checking out what the gurus has mentioned and it still persists, u should check your ball joints. My Volvo V40 1996 model was given same problem and after checking all the above mentioned, it persisted until I changed the ball joints. My experience tho!

Hmmm.... You won't find it funny o. Unless you are going to be driving it yourself, don't even give it a second thought! Those drivers go dey chop your money while you go dey chop stories. If you must go ahead, I will advise you to give it out on hire purchase. It's a bit safer that way but not without it's issues too.

B4 u came, I told u dt it had a small fault, d oil leaked maybe because of d bad road and dt something punctured it and DT it can easily be fixed.

I showed u anoda, u insisted it's ds particular one u want to see.

You must be a con artist and a bloody liar if you ever deny the fact that I came to inspect that scrap! You wasted my time and money that day and you still have the guts to spew bvllshit. Maybe I need to take you down memory lane since you acting like you are brain dead... The scrap is at Ilasa, there was no oil in the engine because there was a lot of oil underneath the car which I guess was due to a crack in the bottom plate of the engine and the battery compartment was filled with water. The second guy with you had to rush and get two 1 litre engine oil and also a battery charger to use his battery in starting the scrap, yet the scrap won't start! I angrily walked out on you time wasters and you called me back and was saying if I can make a monetary commitment that everything will be fixed before the weekend and the car would be ready which I refused to accept. I got a text from you on my way back home asking me if you should still go ahead with fixing the car which I ignored and didn't reply. Gentleman, you better go get a life! Scamming people is not a noble way to live!

ALERT!!! NLers please beware of this particular car. I personally went to inspect this car on Wednesday. This vehicle has got a lot of issues. 1. There was not a single oil in the engine as there was a lot of oil spillage where the car was parked. 2. The car has been parked for over 4months. When I asked the owner why he has not been using it, he lied that he traveled. 3. Some wiring and small components has been eaten up by rats which the owner claims is irrelevant and doesn't disturb a thing . I advise you to be careful when inspecting this car. Go with a very competent mechanic and be very observant because a lot of "packaging" will be done to that car to make sure another buyer doesn't slip away like I did. I almost fell for it.

Pls house, I am about to buy a tokunbo Audi A6 2003 model auto tranny (don't know the engine specs tho but pretty sure it's not turbo charged). Pls how reliable is this car? What are the common faults and maintenance tips one has to know before acquisition of this German machine?

What of black smoke from exhaust (not thick tho) and water dropping from exhaust? What are the meaning of these?
