bebe2007 You are spot on. I lived in Nigeria for about a year. There is nothing you cant do if you have money and this goes in every third world country. Relationship is no different. I hate to say this but I dont think there is any such thing as love these days. Money controls everything. |
IF IT IS NOT ABOUT SPENDING MONEY FOR MAKING CALLS OR NOT AFFORDING TO MAKE A CALL WHAT IS THEN? WHO WOULD BELIEVE SOMEONE TELLING THEM THAT THERE IS SUCH A TRADITION OF A WOMAN NOT CALLING A MAN WHEREEVER? |
In my experience it comes down to money. I can understand if a woman is telling me that she cant afford to call from Nigeria but I would be a fool if I believe her telling me something about such a tradition in this day of the world. |
Apologise for the delay in replying. I just had fried rice. I am hooked on Nigerian food after my stay for a year in Nigeria. Rhino I stayed in a hotel owned by a Frenchman for one night in Togo. I had continental food, stuff like onion soup etc. You can also have african food eg fried rice and fish etc. You can get all kind of beer, star and also german beer Funnylife The two nights I spent in Togo I paid about £40 ( I think 10,000 Nira, £1@ 250 Naira)for accommodation . It is about the same in Ghana for accommodation. Food is very cheap in both coutries. I think you would need around 75000 Naira for accommodation, food and entertainment. When I woke up in this 3 star hotel (room was overlooking the sea) I saw Togonian youngsters playing football very early in the morning. Ithought people talk about spain and other countries but I would love to buy a property in Togo. I travelled in a jeep from Togo to Accra. I remember seeing women drying their clothes along the road side. Anyway I enjoyed my trip to these three countries. |
if you not been to TOGO so far I would strongly recommend visiting the beautiful country. Well that what i found. I spent about 7 months in Lagos last year. From there I travelled to Benin,Togo and Ghana. As soon as I crossed the Nigerian border I could see the difference. I spent about two nights in Togo. There are are some very good but not very expensive hotels next to the sea. Security is no problem. Some good night clubs along ther coast. I cant speak French but language was no problem especially in hotels. Ghana is also worth visiting. Accra is a like any other metro city in the world but so comparatively so cheap. On the way to Accra from Togo border I enjoyed the lay back life of Ghanians. I think where there is no problem it is worth travelling and enjoy the African life. |
ITS HAPPENED TO ME. MY GIRL FRIEND TOLD ME ABOUT HER PAST. I WAS UPSET FOR A BIT BUT THEN I THOUGHT WHAT IF SHE HAD NOT SAID ANYTHING ABOUT HER PAST. SHE TRUSTED ME TO TELL HER PAST. WE ARE STILL TOGETHER. |

nigeria |
i have visited nigeria few times, jobs etc. i am not of nigerian origin. i have seen the plight of people in the hands of the police. its is a disgrace. i sincerely hope that the new regime would do something to improve the situation. people in nigeria instead of leaving everything in the hands of god must stand up for their rights and raise their voice. |
Hi dere I am interested in buying some land in Ibeshe. Wot is the average size of these plots. Where is your office located? Thanks Chaloo |
