Hannibal:
Unless Bayern sack Klinsmann, they ain't winning any title this season.
They are too poor.
Bayern Munich in this league CANNOT finish above Aston Villa. tongue
u mean WEST BROM!! im sure that was a typo on your behalf grin grin grin cool

Scholes would be overpowered in the midfield. . . Only Carrick understands Scholes as he quickly makes himself available to receive Scholesy's passes.
I would trade Berbatov's fitness for Carrick as we speak. Carrick(so under-rated) but he has been our most productive midfielder.
He reads the game superbly and moves to support his skillful and showboating team-mates.
Carrick's vision to intercept passes and deliver passes through the eye of the needle makes him United's priceless jewel in the midfield.
we def gona miss Carrick, esp those zipping passes and his ability to retain possession. What ever happens, i think its crucial we score the first goal. I just hope the ref wouldn't give 'em any dodgy decisions. This game would be a CRACKER!!! Its high time they lost that stupid home record.

@ Hannibal

What do u think of this: 4-4-2

I think this would be the ideal formation:

VDS

NEVILLE BROWN RIO EVRA

HARGO SCHOLES

RONALDO ROONEY/TEVEZ PARK

ROONEY/TEVEZ

oR WE COULD USE THE TACTICS WE USED IN mOSCOW WITH HARGREAVES PLAYING THAT MIDFIELD/RIGHT WING POSITION.

Hannibal:
4-3-3 would allow Chelsea's 5-man midfield to pass through like hot knife on butter.
5 strong midfielders(Mikel, Lampard, Ballack, Deco and Joe Cole) would walk through our 3 midfielders too easily.
Lets play a FLAT 4 in the midfield with GRAFTERS like Park, Hargreaves and Anderson/Scholes and u would see a massive difference.
It's no coincidence that JS Park is yet to lose a game in which he STARTED @ Man Utd(He must start tomorrow). grin cheesy
Me and you know that Fergie will play Scholes if he's fit, thats guaranteed. I've got a sneaky feeling that Anderson might not start. I think I'll prefer to see Tevez and Rooney to start with. Those 2 can run all day long.

I think the big question is How many goals would we concede if any?

Rooney to provide width again??
yes he'll have to, to start with. Thats the sacrifice he makes for the team

Hannibal:
The only way we can beat Chelsea is to play 4-4-2 a la Moscow.
I know but remember that was on Neutral ground. This is at the GAY BRIDGE!!! We have to be cautious with the way we approach the game, remember when we went Gong Ho at Anfield. We need to keep it tight.

The most important thing is that Fergie must have a solid Plan B for when we are winning or losing.
with cr back,i dnt think utd need berba. No need to play a stereo type attcker stickin it upfront but mobile players like rooney,CR and tevez who are both hardworkin and can move into space to run the chelsea back4 ragged.
I kinda agree with that actually . . . .Berba can come on later to give us anoda dimension if we have to go long

Anderson is not a winger. . . . . . He would waste away if u play him in wide positions.
4-3-3 will not work against Chelsea. . . . . . We need width.
Players that can hug the touchline and pin Ashley Cole and Bosingwa back.
Nah!! U got it wrong bro . . . .Anderson is not playing on the wings. Thats a 3 compact midfield. Call it 4-5-1 (Attacking)

Ronaldo and Rooney to provide width . . . they are interchangeable. Rooney on the wings to start with for defensive duties. we have to win the midfield battle
