At the end of the day, no matter who we buy, if the manager can't get the best out of his players and instil confidence...all is vanity.

montelik: see what Moyes has caused amongst united fans. lol

As in. Every one is just frustrated and we are just looking to take it out on each other

World class??! Lol. Not even close.
They are decent footballers who had a good day. That's all

Exactly my point. Just get someone decent.
There are CM's out there that would drastically improve what we have now.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 11:33pm On Dec 08, 2013
I don't think the players we have in our midfield are on Ozil's level/wavelength just like some didn't have the football brain of Berbatov a times.

Ozil's is not even the issue here...get us 2 solid DM's that would give a decent shift.
They don't even have to be world class...just someone with a decent football brain.

FFS, Barry and. McCarthy bossed midfield today for a long spell , are they world class?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 11:20pm On Dec 08, 2013
I don't get it, are some of you saying players were not available to buy in the dimmer or what?
Or what's this question about dropping names of players we should have bought.
Was that a rhetoric question?

United's financial position is something that is usually underrated and d debts d oda way round.

D debts have been serviced extensively in d past 3 years and have reduced drastically.
We are in a financially strong position ryt now.

Woodward actually worked wonders with sponsors. Guess that's y he was promoted.

United were in d position to afford 80 million bale last season
Or 60 million ronaldo + his wages.

That's how financially strong we now are

What are you talking about.
That is all good as long as we are doing well on the pitch.
Miss out on top 4 and continue with shady performances and let's see how long the Glazers will hold out for.
Go back and re read what I typed.

Now you refused to give them credit for their work. From 4-2 to 4-4.

How many teams achieved that with us that season. They pressed us hard and hard and we could not find a way to stop them. Even if it is complacency, why should we concede two goals at Old Trafford under SAF with just few minutes to go in a potential title deciding fixture? I bet you will soon say we scored ourselves while Everton were spectators.

Of course any team that comes back from a 2 goal deficit should be given credit not just Everton, but labelling it a Barca like performance is astonishing.

So because they were the only team to achieve that feat is your reason? Oh lawd. grin
We could not find a way to stop them but we scored 4 goals, I'm getting you. grin

Money, money, money speaks. Find out from City when they finished 5th.

Look at this brother comparing the Glazers to the sheikhs.
City were a team on the up with plenty of financial backing, it was obvious they were building and planning for domination.
We'd be a club on a downward spiral, how will we attract the top players with huge wages. Abi you no know say we get debt?
How long will the Glazers put up with.
Two different situations...it's not rocket science now.

My guy, go and watch that 4-4 again. It was a Barca kind of football Everton did on us in the 2nd half. They could have won it 4-5.

The previous seasons were almost same stories. In one of the matches we manage to beat them, it was a Chicharito special late header that handed us the 3 points. Everton had always played some good football in the past. The difference now is that their players have matured over the years and they have better scorers now.

I am not exonerating Moyes but our players have half of the blame, if not far more. Look at the way that number 10 stopped that counter attack, only Jones and Rafael could have done that for us. See their direct tackles.

We should not forget too Moyes has always lost his best legs to transfer market, as in, Cahil, Arteta, etc.

Barca type of football? Why do you always lie with your teeth.
Like I said before, you watched your own football from an angle.
Complacency killed us in that game...leading 4-2, the players felt the job was done. Even Fergie said it after the game.
They conceded 4 goals and you call that a Barca type performance.
I don't even want to get into that debate right now...no point.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 9:42pm On Dec 08, 2013
If we don't make the top 4, that might just be the worst thing to ever happened to United.
We won't be able to attract the top players and on the other side, mass exodus of our top players, the few we have left.
Or do you think Rooney, VP and co will stay if we don't make the CL?

Martinez has sent a team to relegation. No one says that.

Martinez has won the FA cup, something DM has never achieved in his career. No one says that.
It's not rocket science to know he performed a miracle year after year to keep Wigan in the premiership for about 4 years straight before the inevitable finally happened.

Haba!

Moyes 4-4 draw at Old Trafford was better than any football Everon is playing now. Moyes 10 win over City last season was one of the greatest football EPL could offer. Even as clueless as Anichebe was. Let's give this man time. Moreso, Everton might collapse on the table soon. The major advantage theyu have over opponents is their fitness. Even Mourinho is finding it hard at Chelsea despite all the qualities in his team.

The 4-4 draw is better than what they are playing now? You probably watch your football from an angle.
Smh. It's a pity.
Everton might collapse bla bla bla, it's not about the result. We are talking about the brand of football here.
At this point, I'd rather pay to watch Everton play than go to Old Trafford.

superstar1: How may times have barca Madrid and Bayern changed and they were in transition.

The quality of our manager and players says it all. We are gradually turning into a mediocre team, a Liverpool of the 90s and 20s.

Moyes does not have the acumen and technical depth to see us through this curve. We are just a thin line between maintain our status as an elite team and falling from grace to grass.

If Moyes will continue as the team manager, he needs good assistants and he needs unlearn his football tactics and re-learn modern football at top level.

Let's face the reality, we are asking too much of the guy. Can you drive a Volkswagen like a Ferrari, is Versace the same thing as tailor loran. If the guy wants to act like atop manager he is being expected by all to be, he will just run mad because he is not anywhere a top manager. Infact he is not even T talk less of top.

Why accept the offer if you know you are not capable of doing the job.
He is clearly out of his depth...you can see it from his interviews and post match conferences...he looks defeated.

keep being patient - when we miss the champions league & we can only attract substandard players then your patience will reap rewards. by then, half of our squad would seek greener pastures. you think those players would stay if we are not involved in those champions league games?

gollum's brain cells have been replaced with ofada rice. no guts, no balls. he wouldn't have done what everton did today. after 1st half time, everton had more possession than arsenal @ the emirates. yet, he got there after moyes joined man utd.

why is it taking moyes time to know the team & martinez is thriving. martinez has been able to impose his style on everton. moyes has not been able to do jack at old trafford - he's been losing games & has blunted our attack.

Does Moyes have a style besides his 'go and play' philosophy

Bukato3: Eminem is good, but compares nothing to Nas.Nas (especially early Nas) destroys Eminem lyrically.Illmatic is arguably the greatest hip hop album of all time.Check this out.

Eminem
See I'm a poet to some, a regular modern day Shakespeare
Jesus Christ the King of these Latter Day Saints here
To shatter the picture in which of that as they paint me
as a monger of hate and Satan a scatter-brained atheist
But that ain't the case, see it's a matter of taste
We as a people decide if Shady's as bad as they say he is
Or is he the latter - a gateway to escape?

Nas
"People fear what they don't understand, hate what they can't conquer
Guess it's just the fury of man
Became a monster, on top of the world, never fallin
I'm as real as they come, from day one, forever ballin"

How does this buttress your point about the topic?

moyes is limited - whoever believes he will turn things around at old trafford must also believe i own murtala airport. he's the most negative manager on the planet.

they are getting these good results despite the absence of their chief creator(leighton baines). i know they would have won today if baines was on the pitch. his setpiece delivery would have wounded the gunners.

The only player Martinez spent money on tahrs currently playing in the team is McCarthy...the rest are loanees.
Just look at the transformation.
Moyes has turned a championship winning side to Ofada rice.

These are Moyes boys na. He gave them the fitness. Moyes have rubbished Man United and killed City severally in the past. He even finished 4th at a time.

Let's wait and see how all these things end.

Moyes went to the Emirates And dominated like that?
Did Moyes ever win at Old Trafford?

United and Everton, pretty much the same team from last year, just a change of manager no we can all see the difference.

Everton - from police football less than 6 months ago now playing tippy tappy with pretty much the same players.

How do some of you guys watch football self? Jones did his work very well. He frustrated many moves and covered Rafael well even though Janujaz had no defensive skills. The threats and the goal came from the left defensive side. With RVP, Adnan, Nani, Chicha and Cleverley we were okay with attack minded formation. The poor decision by Nani, Janujaz and Chicha in the box were a hallmark of naïve forwards.

You guys always want scape goats. Had Rooney played today, the story would have been how he is too concern about work rate instead of staying in the box.

So we lost because Rooney didn't play?
