I called IRCC and was told my Eligibility has not started, security not started, criminality in progress.

I got biometric letter and UCI hours before I saw medical passed. I completed my schedule A upfront because I figure with over 50 travel entries and having lived in many different countries there's no way they wouldn't request for it.

Got a change of UCI number this evening, but no MEP yet...does that send any signal that MEP is near? Also received a mail regarding completing Schedule A, what does that imply bearing in mind MEP hasnt come, yet UCI number has changed

ITA arrived safely this evening, it was well received with open hands and joy.

I hope that's what it is, but I doubt it. I haven't even done my biometrics. I plan to do it next week.

In other news, I got ghost update this evening.

AOR 24th August
Medical passed, BCL and UCI change September 18th.

I'm also exactly 4 days post AOR. I swear I didn't even realise it was only that many days. Feels like it's been weeks. I haven't been checking as much as I thought I'd be. What does your profile say now? Mine says background check is in progress.

It only gives more point than "two or more certificates" if its a masters degree or professional degree in a needed licensed practice; but as mentioned earlier, if its Masters in a non-required licensed profession (physics or MBA) its simply a "two or more certificates" point.

I actively started this Canada PR in Apr. Got my IELTS and ECA just came in Aug 20. So I’m good to dive in but something new just came up at work. I have been transferred out of Nigeria to a Northern American country and I should be out Nov/Dec this year but I don’t want to stop this journey for my kids sake. Now my dilema:I have all my POF in 9ja and everything needed for the application. Is it possible to update my location and where to submit my passport when my PPR eventually happens? Should I proceed with my application or wait till I am out before I submit my profile? I am open to all suggestions.

I think once you pay the 85 CAD that'd be it. Unless VFS starts with SMS fee again.

I believe that when you choose "legally separated" your spouse is not included in your application. But you have to show proof of separation like a separation agreement. Or other documented proof that you have been living apart.

Peculiar case here.

About to join the pool. Married but separated for 2years now. No court processes started but marriage broken down irretrievably.

Have good crs scores both as a single and married individual not traveling with spouse.

But the problem is the aspect of compulsory medical for spouse even if not traveling with spouse.

Kindly advice on the best way to go about it.

About some pages behind, someone talked about Prime Medical Consultant in PHC planning to stop carrying out medicals or has stopped. I'm sorry to say that information is untrue or probably the person misinterpreted the message. I've been in touch with them and they confirmed nothing of such. Medicals' still handled by them

I highly doubt myself and about 2 other people that posted about this issue misinterpreted it or heard them wrong. They very clearly told me last Thursday was the last day they would carry out medicals. While I was there they told nothing less than 8 callers same thing on the phone and informed them that unless they could find their way to Prime before 12 noon, they would have to go to Lagos or Abuja. Something may have changed between now and then. But that's what they said.

Please house, I need your candid advice with which body to write my ielts with in Lagos, BC or MOD? I have read previous threads about people complaining about BC's confusing speaking test reshcedule as well as their strict payment option. Though MOD seems to be better in the aforementioned points, my fear with them is that for listening test they can either provide speaker / earpiece. I am used to practising with earpiece and don't want otherwise on test date. That is why am confused, please help me out as time is running out for registration

I paid for BC via Firstbank online system. It's a pretty straightforward process once you follow the instructions BC will give on registration.
