To those still hoping and praying for a sales keep pushing you never can tell when the sales will eventually come. This domain had been on for sale on Dan for about 2 years and then huge domains according to archive/org.

I have some domains (Brandable) outside Squadhelp without no inquiry or offers and I really didn't mind but was trying to register more short and meaniful names till this one sold. If you're like me, don't give up just yet, you never can tell when and how your own sales will come so just believe and be optimistic.

FinArmor is a great name. Fin is a strong keyword and Armor is fairly a good keyword too. And i feel the combo makes sense and strikes a balance.

First financial institutions are springing up daily, and coupled with the fact that we're heading to the era of financial digitization(digital currencies). I feel a major concern of some of these financial set ups is how to keep their customers and public funds safe and secure. So with a name like FinArmor i feel it goes well in that direction as Armor means Armour, shield, security, and vault sought of meaning. So in summary name means a Financial Security system. It's quite possible that it affects sales if it's true, though people have sold domains plenty here without hiding their Naija identity.
But I can understand if it makes some buyers develop cold feet.
Couple that with the issue of the scam warning/alert from their bank that appears sometimes when some buyers want to pay with their card on Dan, and I can understand why some buyers can get spooked, disappear and never come back even if you try to convince them to come and pay elsewhere.

Serious buyers will match to afternic or find a way to still buy, buyers that mostly do this are those that want to buy due to FOMO, that last line in the letter that talks about contacting other endusers triggers most of them

Decided to check the invoice that DAN sends to end users for payment on imported leads, it contains one's full naija address. Could this have impacted on sales that ended up not happening after reaching agreements with end users?

I think invoice will be issued after payment, I have checked on one of my domain for test run after filling form and address the take you to payment then confirmation, is at confirmation stage where the buyer now gets the invoice at that point no turning back lolz...

Guys, I just paid for a domain from Godaddy Closeout.

The domain nane however is not reflecting in my godaddy account and my money has been deducted. Called godaddy support and they advised I contact my bank.

They can see the domain but its as though it didn't go through. 10k was deducted from my account. My Jesus is lord.

It takes 2-7 days to get it, the one I paid for last week took 7 days the other was 2 days so no fear your money never go.

Just use PayPal and let the PayPal be synchronized with your GoDaddy so you don't stress up yourself.

After payment just check for GoDaddy invoice mail, then wait for the domain to hit your account, that's all I do

What you put up there is normal way of listing domain on sedo. after adding names, you have to select the names & choose on Domain auctions.

You will then add your reserve price, domain language....

So after outbounding and followups with no replies, finally decided to go through the fb route..messaged alot of endusers,the only one that showed interest was the one without a website(was even reluctant to send to him at first),so he asked me the ROI if he buys the domain and how it will make dem more money lol..i sha explained sha..he asked the price and i quoted $650 and then asked me to show him the website on the domain name..told him he will have to build his own website and showed him some examples of a truck website..


He stopped replying after that.followed up after a week and he said he couldn't afford such a price during this period so i told him to quote his best offer, he quoted $200 , we sha negotiated to $300, after accepting, he then told me he was just a media personel that i will need to call his boss and explain to him and if its check i want or bank transfer..i was like which kind wahala be this now, so i told him to help me tell his boss that i can't go through the stress of explaining again via phone call and also explained the process of buying to him..He agreed ,only for the boss to go and click on "contact domain owner" on my sales page and wrote there that i should call him...even God knows i can't call him lol.


So i headed back to my media guy and told him his oga made a mistake and clicked somewhere else instead of 'buy now' that he should put him through,he didn't read the message until 3 days later..he read and apologised and domain was sold few minutes later...the guy tried for me sha..

Sorry for the Epistle...just like explaining my sales.

Try to read between the lines, they pro are simply laughing at you because the know it won't make it to premuim at the same time they are chastening you, is necessary for your growth in this biz so don't get offended.

Another thing is your names are not good , sorry to say it this way but that's the hard truth

If you where to start a brand today, will you use Dumb Suckers as a brand name, this is a curse and a provocative one at that..

If I was you, I will spend time on researching about this industry, is all about reading, if you are the type that don't like reading or lack concentration, you might not survive in this industry, and the truth is there is no shortcut unlike forex where you can pay a percentage and copy a pro trader trades, here you can only follow a pro pattern/footsteps but no one will do the outbound or help you in using there MB and research for you, we all are competing against each other for the betterment of our future.
