let's assume i asked God for a bicycle, putting trust in him to do it before easter. But he has other plans for me, and decided not to give me a bicycle before easter. He didnt just break my heart, he also showed those who never believed in Him more more reason never to believe. But for a believer, i knew that is how He works, and it's for my own good.


come to think of it, someone whose faith is not strong enough got heartbroken by God, what do you think will become of such a person? why do you think we have so much atheist nowadays?

As a muslim, I believe in God and will accept whatever comes my way even against my will.

trusting God is like saying my will is His will. believing God is like saying His will is my will. Now you see the difference?

IMO, i think prating for one's will is the best.We cant trust God, we can only believe in him. he can decide to do anything he wants with us, just to teach someone else a lesson.
look at Job's situation in the bible, no one wants to suffer like him. That was God's will and no one on earth today can survive such a situation.

now we have the privilege to ask thru prayer ba and He being our Father is bound to answer us.


we want a lot of things as beings, material being most of them. now take this angle and ask- Is it all we ask that God will to ans?


funny enough this very question is one of the reasons the movie Bruce Almighty was shot.

His will is more safe and sure cos he wills no evil for any of his children. we however love to ask like spoilt kids do when they discover their parents tend to be affirmative to all their request.

So many times we've heard Men of God telling us to pray for God's will to be done in situations we find ourselves.
Other times too we're asked to talk to God concerning our problems telling Him exactly what we want . Even in our Lord's prayer, it is written, 'Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven'.
So which one do we pray for? Let the pastors and evangelists in the house help to clarify this. Thank you
