Have you wondered why some believers act the way they do, why their actions do not correlate with what they profess?
We might not be too far from diagnosing this malady prognosis. It has been discovered that the absence of fatherly love, usually has an adverse effect on the child. Children who lack such might end up doing the wrong things and going down the wrong path.

Research has shown that these children can be uncontrollable and a good number actually end up in a prison. It has also been noticed that upon questioning, they lacked a sense of their father's love. Even if he was physically present, the absence of his influence on their lives was noticeable. This applies to believers who do wrong deeds. They don't sense the love that Christ has for them; it's not the sense of their love for Christ but that which He has for them.

We sometimes ask for the strength and ability to love Christ. But what we should really be asking for, is the ability to have a full consciousness of the love that He has lavished on us. You have to know beloved that Christ loves you so dearly. Allow this knowledge overwhelm and overshadow your full existence. And He doesn't love you based on what you have done or will do; His love is unconditional, no pre-requisites. Christ loves you.

God Cares 1

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 peter 5:7

Beloved, most times the issue is not that we don't agree that God can do the impossible. But the issue is, do we believe that He is willing and caring enough to do it for us? We hold onto the worries and anxiety that have held us bound for a long time, and learnt to live with it, even though it's killing us. You hear testimonies of God's grace in the lives of people around, but you disqualify yourself from His grace. It's because we think He(God) does not care.

But friends, it's a lie from the devil that makes us think or believe that God does not love and care. The next verse says, "Be at alert for your great enemy, the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour". One of the devices of the enemy, is to play the CD of the roaring lion to your hearing, so you'd think that the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is against you.

Don't believe that lie of the devil, God cares and He'll never punish or afflict you. Don't listen to that lying voice again, our Daddy God loves you so much and He isn't willing to allow you go on with those worries and anxiety. Saints we have a caring God. Declare "God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, Cares for me"

The Joy Of Grace

Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice! Philippains 4:4

Beloved, have you ever felt joyous and thoughts flash through your head; why am I happy and full of Joy? What's the occasion about? As a believer saved by grace, there is every reason to rejoice- and not just rejoice, but rejoice always. This joy is not ordinary, it carries strength and ability. We don't rejoice in our bank accounts or our relationships, it says "rejoice in the Lord".

The greek word for "rejoice" here is the word "Chairo", which is a verb that derives its roots from "Charis" i.e. grace. So, the reason for rejoicing, is His grace- unmerited, undeserved and unearned favour. When you realize your present position couldn't have been by your own strength or ability, joy should fill your heart. Even though where you are now in the physical, is not where you would want to be.

Beloved, this joy strengthens, it gives one the ability to move forward and achieve great things. Are you delighting yourself in the Lord? This is what you ought to do at all times- always and continually. Let the Joy of His grace fill your heart and mind. Think, meditate and act on this virtue and you will consistently accomplish greater things.

Prayer: My Daddy God, the joy of Your grace fills my heart. I delight myself in Your grace.

Overflowing with great confident expectation of Good

Believers have often been told, "don't get your hopes up, so that you aren't disappointed". As believers we are expected to have an overflowing hope. Physical hope doesn't mean that what is hoped for would come to pass- it might or not. But, the bible hope gives us a confident expectation of good- this hope does not have "maybe" in it. The anchor of our hope is God, and His confident expectation of good fills our heart with joy and peace.

What are you hoping for beloved? In your life, career, business, school or ministry. Let your heart be filled with joy and peace, knowing and believing that the power of grace would bring it to pass in your life. Maybe you've been told you cannot get what you hoped for, because you do not deserve it. Or your lifestyle in the past has caused it to elude you. I have good news for you beloved, grace gives us things we don't deserve- if you deserve it, then it can't be grace.

Saints, don't let anyone talk you down from having a confident expectation of good. You might have been told, "don't have high hopes in marriage; many people have failed in that area".
I'm here to tell you, our confident expectation of good can never disappoint us (Romans 5:5). Beloved believe His grace, to bring to pass all you've hoped for, in Christ.

Prayer: My Daddy God, I thank You. You are the God of my confident expectation of good. Thank you for filling me with your Joy and Peace. Amen

Beloved, God's desire for you is to be well and in good health. Jesus personally bore our sins and diseases in His body- by His death and resurrection, we received salvation and health. The devil seeks to make us believe otherwise. The symptoms might cause us to doubt our Daddy's words.

The fact might be that you have the symptoms, but the truth is you were already healed. Symptoms are not actually disease, they are signs of the disease. Their absence or presence doesn't correlate with our well-being in Christ- we are the healed of the Lord. Lay hold on God's words by believing and watch the symptoms disappear.

Right now beloved, put your right hand on any part of your body that might be symptomatic and declare these words "My precious Lord Jesus, thank you for personally bearing all my sickness, pains and symptoms in your body. I declare that by your wounds, I am already healed of illness. This disease becomes non-existent in my body. I am healed! Thank you my Daddy God, in Jesus Mighty Name.

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for your healing power working in me. Thank you Lord for healing me, in Jesus Name.

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7 NLT

Beloved, we often feel burdened by worries and cares- the future, your child, your health, marriage etc. Whatever those cares are, beloved, you don't have to worry anymore. Our daddy God wants to take all the worry and anxiety. He is doing this because He cares so much for you.

As you step out this week, have this imprinted on your heart: God really cares for you. Nothing might look so right at the moment, but if only you can believe, you will surely see the salvation of our Lord. This is your role; give all the worries and cares to Him. Don't hold onto it any longer, it's better kept in the hands of our Master.

It's so reassuring to know that our Daddy God cares so much for us, that it hurts Him to see us carry the burdens and anxiety alone.
Give it up beloved, that hurt, the pain. You've been holding onto it for too long. It's time to surrender it all.

Prayer: My Father and my God, I give up all my worries, cares, burdens and anxiety. I lay them down at your feet today. I don't need them anymore, all I need is Your grace to help. Thank you Lord for relieving me of it all in Jesus Name.
