Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT

We’ve been given a model on how to live our Christian life and run the race that’s been set before us. It’s by keeping our eyes on Jesus and all He has done for us. You might ask, is it that easy? Yes beloved.

People are being told to go for deliverance to cast out demons before any breakthrough can occur, but this isn’t true. Beloved, we need to keep the scriptures as our final authority more than the experiences of men.

In verse 2 of our focal scripture, “you do this by” i.e. you overcome sin and run the race by keeping your eyes on Jesus the champion of our faith. If you feel your faith is small and in need of some boost, self effort won’t help. All you need do is look intensely at Jesus: the more you look, the more faith is added unto you.

John 6:40; “Everyone who sees the son and believes in Him has eternal life”. The word for “sees” is the greek word “theoreo”, i.e. to behold intensely, keep looking. Something happens when we look intensely; faith begins to well up on the inside. Jesus said in John 6:35, “He who comes to me will under no circumstance be hungry”.

Whatever you might be going through, just keep your focus on Jesus and He will make a way for you in the desert.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, my eyes are fixed on You and Your unbreakable promises of fulfilling every need in my life.

Beloved, Jesus is the anchor of our belief. For the believer, our hope should be on Christ alone. For us to have a victorious and glorious life, it must be Jesus centered. Jesus is God and it pleased the Father that in Him will all the FULLNESS of the Godhead dwell bodily (Colossians 2:9).

For the Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and He will raise him up at the last day (John 6:40). We can’t use our willpower or self effort to strip ourselves of any weight or sin that slows us down. The key to living “weightlessly” is to keep our focus on Jesus; keep our focus on grace.

Zacchaeus climbed a tree to see Jesus- the tree symbolises the cross. Jesus said to him “come down, I want to abide in your house”. The goodness of Jesus led him to repentance. We can see how the goodness, mercy and unfailing love of the Master brought salvation to Zaccheaus’ house ( Luke 19:1-10).

Beloved keep on loving and believing on Jesus the champion who initiates and perfects our belief. If you’ve not received Jesus as your Lord say this prayer “Lord Jesus, I believe you love me so much and that you died to take away my sins. I accept you as Lord over my Life, I enthrone you as king over my life. I believe that am now born again. Thank you Jesus for saving me.” Welcome to the family of the beloved.

Prayer: Thank You Jesus, the Champion of my belief; I’ll keep on looking up to you by believing.

We can learn a lot from Joseph and all that he went through. In spite of these troubles, he still believed that God was with Him. When his master’s wife wanted to lie with him, he made a remarkable statement; “I can’t do this against my God”. His heart was not focused on the discouraging circumstance, he was focused on our Daddy God.

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all”. Here is a young man whom his father loved so much, but due to the hatred of his brothers he was sold to slavery. But Joseph’s heart was fixed on this; not even on the afflictions, but on God’s deliverance.

Have you almost given up on life, thinking that there’s no way to be delivered from that turmoil? When you go to church, you are reminded of God’s promises and blessings, but you don’t think these promises apply to you because of what you’ve experienced or are experiencing. Beloved, you have to be persuaded like Joseph: God is still with you. He promised never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

On more thing, this promise is not based on your actions (what you’ve done right or wrong). It’s based solely on His faithfulness and goodness. So whenever the devil points you to yourself, point him to the undeserved gift of righteousness given to you by your Daddy God.

Prayer: My Daddy God, thank You for qualifying me for Your justification. I never deserved it but Your unmerited favour made it available to me through Jesus.

Joseph went through very trying times. If this had occurred in our days, he would be said to have been cursed with bad luck or ill fortune. People around him might have said his sins are too many or maybe it’s the sins of his fathers. But it was none of these; everything was working for his good. Joseph was more concerned about our Daddy God’s love. He knew that God was with him all the time and he didn’t want to ever grieve His heart.

Saints, like Joseph have you been going through tough situations? Everything around don’t seem to work, you feel like your world is coming to an end. Beloved, I have good news for you today: everything is working together for good for you. Joseph was not just thrown into any prison, he was thrown into the prison where those who served the king were kept. That was grace working on his behalf; with each day, he was getting closer to his destiny.

Child of God, you are closer to your next level of victory. God is making all grace abound towards you. That rejection or demotion is a set up for greatness in your life for the hands of grace are working on your behalf. God is still with you beloved, just keep on trusting in His grace and you will appear in your promised palace next to the king.

Prayer: I know and believe that God is still with me. I go through the rest this trying time with this conviction, in Jesus Name.

Paul said in Philippians 3:10; “that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection”, the greek word for “know” here is the word “ginosko” and it’s to understand completely. It can also mean “to know” in terms of relationship between the person knowing and the object known.

Beloved, do you want to know the power of His resurrection? It’s not enough to mentally know that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. But it’s to come to an understanding inwardly, that He really is the resurrection and life.

This knowing will turn your life around. It will turn all your troubles into trophies. Don’t listen to the lie of the enemy that says you would forever stay down. Many people have gone to the grave with the power of resurrection lying dormant inside them. It’s not just having it in you alone but allowing it work through you.

This power of resurrection working in you will cause you to do the supernatural. We can do all things not on our own but through the power of resurrection of Christ which strengthens us. To allow this power work through you beloved, you’ll have to believe. All things are possible to him that believes.

Prayer: Lord I know and believe You and the power of Your resurrection. My life is transformed by Your power.

Saints, do you really understand this life that you now have? The way you possess human life in your blood, the same way you are born with this life, in your spirit. This life doesn’t come from your “doings”, it came from the “doings” of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Righteous and sinless Jesus took upon Himself our sins and died on the cross. It’s a price He didn’t owe, but He chose to pay to remove our guilt, shame and condemnation. He did it once and for all; He took your judgement and punishment, so that you will never ever be condemned again. He didn’t stay dead, He rose again for our justification (righteousness). The power to live rightly is in His resurrection.

This dumanis is inherent in your heart by faith and the more you believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, the more you begin to see the outward manifestation of the life and power that is in you. Beloved, are you tired of trying to live above sin? I urge you to believe more in the power of grace that is inside you and watch Jesus live through you.

Prayer: Lord I see Your grace and it lives through me in Jesus Name.

Beloved, are there things in your life that are dead, in need of being raised up? The power of the gospel of grace which we preach can cause that area to come alive. There is power in the gospel beloved; it transforms situations and lifts out of the pit. Many believers are unaware of the power behind the life that they carry.

When you face troubles and challenges or do things you ought not to be doing, the devil capitalises on those things to condemn you, causing you to wallow in guilt or self pity. This might cause you to continue doing those things as you believe the lie of the devil that you are not good enough. Beloved, I’ve come to share the good news with you; there is power in Christ’s resurrection.

The word for “power” in greek, when used with regards to the resurrection of Jesus, is “dunamis”. It’s the inherent power of God resident in the believer. Wow! You have been carrying this power all along, without realising it or putting it to use. It is in you and one unique thing about this power is; it’s not by self effort. It’s in you through the grace of our Lord Jesus. To activate it, you have to believe. *To be continued*

Saints, what are you holding onto so dearly? What worries and cares do you carry, hindering you from receiving from the Lord? It is time to leave all your care, anxieties and worries at the feet of the master. The woman at the well left the jar of water at the well, after she received the spring of life in her spirit.

Due to her actions, Jesus stayed for two days with people regarded as rejects and outcasts by the Jews. The villagers said to the woman, “Now we believe not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard Him ourselves. Now we know that He is indeed the Savior of the world.”

Beloved, your encounter with Jesus should extend to members of your family. You might say to yourself, I’ve been born again for several years and haven’t experienced this before. Maybe you’ve been too busy focusing on how to give to Jesus, when you should be focusing on receiving His abundant supply. The woman could effectively carry out the work of the ministry because she received from Jesus. Receive beloved! Receive!

Prayer: Lord I receive Your salvation, I receive all that pertains to life and godliness, in Jesus Name.

Beloved, those who the woman by the well spoke with believed the words she said. This is a woman who must have been laughed at by other villagers. Samaritans due to their being ostracised by the Jews lived in tightly knit communities; presently the population of Samaritan is 75. This woman, inspite of her reputation, went on to proclaim the message of Christ.

When she got in contact with the person of Jesus, her life was changed. When He told her to bring her husband, she admitted she didn’t have. No one opens up to the Master and leaves without a touch from Him. What are you going through today, beloved? Be open to your Saviour, He is willing and able to change your story through the power of His grace.

After the encounter Jesus felt refreshed, He was satisfied. His disciples urged Him to eat but He said to them, “I have a kind of food you know nothing about.” Jesus is satisfied when we take from Him. Learn to receive from the Lord beloved, do not be afraid to take more and more of Him. Receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness for your reigning in life (Romans 5:17) *To be continued*

Beloved, the woman by the well had an encounter with Jesus: He told her He was the savour that was to come and she turned out to be a proclaimer of Jesus. This same woman who have had four husbands, was no longer ashamed after she had that encounter. She went into the village announcing the word of Christ.

Jesus said to the woman, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me and I would give you living water” (John 4:10). Friends, the gospel can change any situation and turn it all around. The woman asked for this living water and Jesus gave it to her, through the words He spoke.

Are you in a point in your life, where you need a saviour; someone who can turn your life around? The great “I AM” our Saviour is standing right at the door of your heart, just like He stood beside the samaritan woman at the well. Ask Him to give you this living water and you’ll never thirst again. Your life will be changed.

Place your hand on your chest and pray this out with belief: “Lord Jesus I ask You to come into my life, I enthrone You as Lord and Saviour over my life in Jesus Name.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the living water of salvation that springs out of my life, in Jesus Name.

Beloved, when we go through troubles and face storms, we might feel that the Lord is far from us. The disciples saw the One who was able to save them and turn their lives around but they didn’t recognise Him. Their perception of Jesus was wrong; they felt He was a ghost and screamed out in fear.

Saints, Jesus was not there to frighten them, He was there to save them from the storm. Whenever we go through negative situations, our natural mind might make us feel or think that God sent the storm our way to teach us a lesson. When the disciples faced similar situations, immediately Jesus came to them and said “I AM”. When you have the consciousness that the great “I AM” is always with you and He cares, fear will disappear.

After the disciples acknowledged that it was Jesus, Peter started doing supernatural things like walking on water. And when they got back into the boat, they got to their destination immediately. When you recognise that the great “I AM” cares, reaching your desired destination is sure. Jesus is saying to you today; “I AM!, stop being afraid”.

Prayer: Because Jesus is my Great “I AM”, I have no fear of the present or the future. For my tomorrow is sure in You.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world. John 6.51

The bread of life came down from heaven to give Himself for the world. When most believers read this passage they only visualise it as a spiritual eating and not physical. John 6:54, “the one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day”. The word “eats” in greek is “trogon” which means to “chew” or “masticating”, a crunching sound.

The bread which was generally eaten by the Jews was hard and made a crunchy sound when eaten. This my friends, speaks of the communion. No wonder in the account of Paul about the communion, he said; “for this cause many of you are sickly, weak and die” (1 Corinthians 11:30). This happens when believers don’t really discern the Bread of Life and when it is taken infrequently.

So beloved, how often do you remember the Lord Jesus? He said, as often as you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you remember me. There is healing, strength and life in taking the communion.

You wonder why the apostles had so much speed, power and impact with the gospel? They always partook of the communion from house to house. Jesus is calling on you to remember Him often and in turn, be filled with life, strength and health.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for Your body that was broken for me, that mine will never become weak or broken. I am full of life, in Jesus Name.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world. John 6.51

Bread is synonymous with sustenance. Jesus, in this chapter, told his followers that He is THE living bread i.e. He is the sustenance of life. “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1.3).

This bread endures to eternal life, not like the law which perishes (John 6.27), for Moses could not give the true bread (John 6.32). The law cannot give life. Only Grace, Christ personified can.

And when we partake of this bread, we have the Zoe-life of God. Taking communion symbolises taking the bread of life, but it is incomplete if we do not believe in Jesus (John 6.40,47). The word used for “eat” in this narrative means chews or gnaws (present continuous tense). So we need to continually chew i.e., continue to trust in Jesus. When we do this, we live: He abides in us and we in Him (John 6.56). We become complete!

Beloved we can achieve “NO”thing- nothing without Jesus. In Him, we are whole.

Prayer: Thank You my Daddy God for sending the Bread of Life to me. I believe in You Jesus. In You, I am whole.

Beloved, it’s time to really be conscious of who Our Lord Jesus is, and what “I AM” means to you. Are you sick? He is saying to you, I am your healer. Or do you feel you are at crossroads? He is saying to you, I am your direction. Whatever you need Him to be, beloved He is willing, ready and able to become.

As you go through this week, have the full assurance that the great “I AM” is with you and always ready to help. He is the great advocate that we have who speaks to the Father in our defense. If you’ve not made Jesus your Lord, He is saying to you, “I AM” Your saviour. I died for Your sins and paid the full price, so you can walk in liberty and newness of life. Jesus is Grace that has appeared to everyone bringing salvation.

Friends make Him your Lord and saviour. Let Him become the great “I AM” to you.

Say this prayer from your heart. “Lord Jesus I accept You as my Saviour. I enthrone You as my Lord. Come in and change my life. Now I am born again, now I’m a new creation. Thank You Lord Jesus for the power of grace that is now at work in me”.

Prayer: Thank You Lord, for Your power of grace transforms and changes my life, in Jesus Name.

Many believe that Jesus was a righteous man and moral teacher. They believe that He is the son of God, created by God but He is not God. But from our text, you can see clearly that Jesus said “unless you believe that I AM, you’ll die in your sins”. “I AM” is an attribute given to God, in the greek it’s rendered “Ego Eimi”. In other words Jesus was saying, you have to believe that I am God. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Aleph and Tav.

Beloved, knowing and believing this will change our lives. God came down to die for us, He took our place and died the death that was meant for us. He took all our punishment, judgement and condemnation upon Himself. He cried out “it is finished”; all that was required has been fulfilled for us. We can now boldly and in liberty enter through the veil, His flesh, into the Holy place (Hebrew 10:15).

Saints, this should give you full assurance of the gift of “no more condemnation”. When you realise that the blood of Jesus was shed on the cross and cleansed you from ALL sins, you will be confident and live with a purged conscience, no longer fearing condemnation or guilt from the devil. God took your place; believe His love for you, beloved. Believe that Jesus, your saviour is the great “I AM”.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the great “I AM”. I receive and accept all the good things that Your sacrifice bought for me in Jesus Name.

Beloved, the “I AM” scriptures spoken by Jesus, have been the focus of preceeding capsules. This statement is very pivotal in our understanding of who Christ is and what He really came to do for us. These sayings also shed more light on the full assurance we have in our Lord Jesus and they show us the extent of the love of God; that He sent Jesus (who is God Himself) to die for our sins.

When we believe and trust in our hearts that Jesus is truly our saviour and He is God, it changes us and causes us to do the supernatural. Peter was able to do the supernatural by walking on water, when he believed that Jesus was indeed God. Jesus came to open up a new way for us, which is the highway of holiness and righteousness. And this does not come from your own self effort but through His unmerited favour.

In 1 Corinthians 1:30, “but of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption”. Our Lord and saviour became all these for us.So the more you behold, believe and enthrone Christ as Saviour over your life, the more you see the manifestation of all He became for you. Stand fast by believing.

Beloved, these factual statements from our Lord Jesus should give us confidence and cause us to believe Him more. He said I am “the” way, “the” truth, and “the” life. He used “the” which is a definite article, pointing to the fact that this particular life can only be gotten from Him i.e. the Zoe of God (God-kind of life).

This life is the very essence of God; anyone that has it will never die. Jesus said in John 10:10, “I have come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly”. He wants us to have this life in excess. Friends, you don’t have to be afraid of the lie of the devil. He comes to kill, steal and destroy; but thank God for the life in abundance that Jesus Christ gives to us.

Beloved, when this life is at work in you, you can’t just die. Apostle Paul never used death for a believer. He understood that anyone who is alive in Christ can never die again. So he always used the word “sleep” for the believers that died physically. You can’t die again; for you died and were resurrected with Christ, having this Zoe life inside of you. Don’t be afraid of death, for you have overcome.

Prayer: Lord I am grateful for Your life that is at work in me. I receive it in abundance, till it overflows. In Jesus Name.

The truth of the gospel of Christ is that the promise of God over your life will be fulfilled. Jesus is saying to you today, “Fear not, for I am the Truth”. What has God promised you this year? He is saying this to you, this year is your year of double portion, fruitfulness, increase, favour, speed, exceeding grace etc. Whatever God has promised you beloved, because Jesus is the Truth, He is set to confirm His word towards you.

You shall know the truth and the truth you know will make you free. What this means is that the truth will make you walk in line with the promises of God towards you. If you were told you were barren, when you become aware of the truth that none shall be barren in the kingdom, it will make you free to become fruitful. The same goes for other areas of your life beloved.

All you need do is become aware, yearn in your spirit to know more about the truth of God and all the promises that accompanies this new covenant. The more you grow in the knowledge of the truth, the more you are made free through His grace. We find grace to help us for every need when we stay focused on Jesus.

Prayer: Lord Jesus my focus and gaze is on You. I pray to become more aware of Your truth and promises in my life in Jesus Name.

When Jesus said, "I am the Truth", He also meant that He is our true reality. The reality of your existence as a believer is Jesus. Any other life is fake. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:20).

The life that we live now should be based on the faith of Christ Jesus, not our own faith. Many believers try so hard to live the Christian life: they fast and pray to increase their faith to live victoriously, when we are actually meant to live through the faith of Jesus. Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith, meaning He started it. S o the faith does not belong to us in the first place, it's His.

The truth is that you can overcome that addiction that has plagued you for so long, if you can allow the faith of Christ live through you. This happens when you consciously believe in His faith; anchoring your belief on His goodness. Live out the "real you", beloved.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, the life I now live is by Your faith and goodness. I anchor my belief on Your faith for a victorious live. Amen.

When you know the Truth, grace is also added to you. The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus (John 1:17). The more you grow in grace, the more you get to know the Truth (2 Peter 3:18). Knowing the Truth is resting in the finished work of Christ and He came so we can be free from the law’s dos and don’ts.

Jesus came to fulfil the law: all its requirements and the condemnation that came with it. The law is perfect and good but it focuses on the sins in man’s lives. God gave the law so that men could see how sinful they were and come to the end of themselves. It is like a mirror that can point out your sins, but lacks the power to change anyone. The bible calls it the ministry of condemnation, engraved on stones (2 Corinthians 3:7) – i.e. the 10 commandments.

But thank God for grace and truth came through Jesus. And now we can be changed and transformed from within. We are not living by the 10 commandments, but we live through the Spirit and bear fruits unto God (Roman 7:4). The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22). Beloved, you have to receive Grace and Truth through believing. In the kingdom, we have access to all that has been provided for us by believing.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for empowering me with grace and truth. I am conscious of Your ability working through me, unto good works, in Jesus Name.

Have you ever been in a tough situation and someone comes your way, tells you discouraging words? Then they end the talk by telling you they’ve just told you the truth. They say; “the truth is that you are a failure” or “the truth is that you do not qualify to hold that position”. Beloved, there is only one “true” Truth and that is the person of our Lord Jesus.

Have you been going through tough challenges and there seems to be no escape? Thank God there is great hope for you, for you shall know the Truth and the Truth once known, shall make you free (John 8:32). You can put it this way: “you shall know our Lord Jesus and He will make you free”. Our Lord Jesus is the Truth; knowing Him sets one free from all struggles and pain.

Friends, do you know Jesus? It’s not just knowing Him with the head. It’s about knowing Him personally; with the heart. Is He the Lord over your life? In Romans 10:10, “For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved”.

Will you believe in your heart today Jesus Christ who is the Truth?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe You with my heart and I confess You with my mouth. Thank You for saving me. Amen.

Beloved, Jesus was talking to His disciples about Himself and about preparing a place for them. Then He said, the only way they could access where He was preparing for them was through Him. In John 10:9 He said, “I am the door: if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out to find pasture”. There were two specific things mentioned here, when you go through the door. You will be saved and you will find provision.

The word saved is “sozo” in greek, which means spiritual and eternal salvation. And it also means deliverance, protection and preservation. When you gain access to the way, who is also Jesus, you become saved. Not only that, you also have provision and direction. Beloved, are there areas in your life, that you are trusting God for provision? It’s time to connect with the way- the door.

Have you been told you need deliverance from one thing or the other? You can believe that Jesus is the way and you will be “sozoed” i.e. saved and delivered. There is deliverance in knowing more about the way, knowing more about Jesus. It’s time to stop jumping from pillar to post beloved. It’s time to stick to the word of God: believe His words with your heart and watch how things change in your life.

Prayer: Lord I believe in You, my way, my door, life. Amen

I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. John 15:1

Beloved, God wants you to bring forth fruit, not flowers before the end of 2013. Bearing fruit is not something you can do by your self effort, it’s purely through His grace. Access His grace today by believing what He said concerning you. He says, “You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”. Do you believe it?

In Genesis 2:22, “Then the Lord God made a woman from the part He had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man”. The Hebrew words “banah” and “parah” are interpreted “made” and “fruitful” respectively in English . They both end with the 5th Hebrew alphabet: “hei” and the number 5 means grace. So for anything to bring forth or be made, it must be by grace. In this year of fruitfulness, grace (unmerited favour) will “panah” i.e. bring forth your wife and husband, for those who are single.

Beloved, you should be fruitful in soul-winning for the Lord. You can be witnesses in different ways e.g., support the propagation of the good news of Christ. God wants you to bear fruit in your career, job, ministry, family, at school etc.

Remember, you cannot do this on your own. But through the true Vine, you can bring forth fruits in every area.

Prayer: I rest in the finished work of my True Vine this year. I bring forth fruit in every area of my life, in Jesus Name.

If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God’s gracious favor and unmerited blessing). Gal 5:4 AMP

Beloved when you became born again, you automatically became the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; you don’t have any business trying to become more righteous.

Quit trying to earn God’s blessings and attention. People who try to please God, by establishing their own righteousness, alienate themselves from Christ and His undeserved grace.

Righteousness and Grace are both gifts from God, you can never merit them in a million years. Christ paid the once and for all price for you. So come boldly to the throne of Grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need.(Hebrews 4:16)

Grace is not just unmerited favour, He is a helper, most especially in your time of need.

Beloved, you have to stand in this confidence of what Christ did on the cross. Many of God’s children are not aware of who they are in Christ, so they walk on in darkness.(Psalm 82:5)

God expressed His love for you, when He sent His only begotten son to take your place. With this confidence, you can go through today, expecting good things from a Heavenly Father that loves you so much.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I approach Your throne of Grace today with boldness. I receive all the benefits that You have loaded me with, in Jesus Name.

He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. 1 Peter 2:24

Beloved, God’s desire is for you to be well and in good health. Jesus personally bore your sins and diseases in His body and the same way we’ve been saved, we are also healed. The enemy- the devil, tries to make us believe that we’ve not been healed. He brings back those symptoms that will make us doubt our Daddy’s Word.

The fact might be that you have the symptoms, but the truth is that you were already healed. Symptoms doesn’t actually mean disease, they are pointers to the presence of disease. Believe in the healing provided and watch the lying symptoms disappear.

Right now beloved, put your right hand on that part of your body that is symptomatic and declare these words; “my precious Lord Jesus, thank You for personally bearing all my sickness, pains and symptoms in Your body. I declare that by Your wounds, I am already healed. Thank You, my Daddy God for health, in Jesus mighty name.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for Your healing power at work within me, in Jesus Name. Amen

There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. Phillipians 1:6 paraphrased

Beloved, we must always live in the realm where we have a full expectation of good in our lives, homes and careers. God is always ready to do good works in us. He is always willing to do us good, He constantly works out in us His good pleasures.(Phillipians 2:13)

Beloved, God is not out to punish you nor will He look upon you in wrath; He is always thinking good towards you.(Jeremiah 29:11).

He wants us healthy and prosperous.(3 John 2) If there was anything in your life that wasn’t good, have it settled in your heart that it was never God.(James 1:17)

We should be fully persuaded, that God is constantly willing and able to do us good all the time. We as Abraham’s seed, have been called to inherit the promise that God gave to him.(Galatians 3:14). God wants us to enter into His rest, we who BELIEVE.(Hebrews 4:2-3)

The major reason why we don’t experience good in our lives is simple because of UNBELIEF: we need to constantly mix the word of God heard with belief (faith), in our hearts. God does not want us to waver (question with doubt) at His promises, through unbelief.(Romans 4:20)

You have to be fully persuaded that what He has promised, He is able and willing to perform. (Romans 4:21) Child of God, if you put “all your” trust in the Lord, you will undoubtedly come back with a testimony.

Expect good things this week.

Prayer: My Heavenly Father, I pray that as Your word has come to me today, it will be mixed with belief in my heart. I believe and expect good things to happen to me this week and month, in Jesus Name.

I’ll make you a great nation and bless you. I’ll make you famous; you’ll be a blessing. I’ll bless those who bless you; those who curse you I’ll curse. All the families of the Earth will be blessed through you. Gen 12:2-3

God blessed Abraham and gave him a promise; that all the families of the earth will be blessed through him. The blessing of God became very evident in his life, in that he was very rich in cattle, in silver and in gold (Genesis 13:2); by the reason of the blessing. (Genesis 12:2)

As seeds of Abraham, we’ve inherited the blessing of enlargement and prosperity- not just financially, but all round prosperity. Christ came to redeem us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13), so that we who WERE gentiles in the flesh (Ephesians 2:11) can receive the blessings of Abraham through Christ. (Galatians 3:29)

Beloved, you have to anchor your belief on God; that’s all Abraham did(Romans 4:3). You don’t have to work to get this blessing, it’s a promise that comes through grace. (Romans 4:4) You have to believe that you are the seed of Abraham through Christ, and walk in that light- to see the manifestation of the blessings in your life. You’ve been set free from every curse through Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:13), and he that the Son sets free is free indeed. (John 8:36)

Prayer: Lord, I stand on Your finished work on the cross and I declare that Abraham’s blessings are mine. I am the seed of Abraham, through Christ, in Jesus name.

Even then God had designs on me. Why, when I was still in my mother’s womb he chose and called me out of sheer generosity! Now he has intervened and revealed his Son to me so that I might joyfully tell non-Jews about him. Galatians 1.15-16

Beloved, God has a reason for adopting you into sonship. God has a purpose for all his children- we were made for Him, not He for us.

Grace and peace is ours “from Christ who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from this present age.” (Galatians 1.3-4)

Christ’s birth, death, burial and resurrection were all pre-planned by God: a plot designed to empower us for His purpose. Christ fulfilled His commission thus setting us free to complete God’s designs for our lives i.e. telling others of the calling by grace (the gospel). “For by strength no man shall prevail.” (I Samuel 2.9)

Once we start acknowledging the grace of God and talking to others about it, there’s an automatic increase in its strength and range, affecting everything and everyone around us. Grace is perceivable (Galatians 2.9) and as sons, we can administer grace. (2 Corinthians 8. 19-20)

As we start sharing the gospel of the grace of Jesus, just as Paul did, “their response would be to RECOGNIZE and then WORSHIP God” (Galatians 1.24) because of you.

Prayer: Lord, I know I have the ability through Your calling, to share the gospel of grace with people around me. I pray that You work in me today, enabling me share the goodnews with someone this weekend in Jesus Name.

For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. Romans 8.19

As children of God, we’ve been loaded with spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Our Papa God has already made us victorious, healthy, prosperous, renewed etc. But these have to be translated to the physical realm for us to enjoy.

As sons (both male and female) of God, we have His essence (genes). We are so alike, that distinctions between us and our Daddy God can’t be made. But a lot of God’s children have not come into the reality of the New Creation and aren’t living life to the full.

Beloved, God gave birth to us; a human gives birth to a being and it’s called “human being”, it’s the same way our Papa God gave birth to us and now we’ve become god-beings.

We are born again (rebirth), not of corruptible sperm (seed), but of incorruptible Sperm (seed) of God (1 Peter 1:23). No wonder all of nature – innovations and all of mankind, expects eagerly the disclosure and unveiling of these sets of god-beings.

Beloved, we are aliens to this world. And manifestation is preceded by realising, understanding and believing in who we are and what God has created us to be. We are overcomers and our victory is linked to believing (1 John 5:4).

Do you believe? Then it’s manifestation time.

Prayer: My Daddy God, thank You for giving birth to me. I live in the reality of who You’ve created me to be, through Your grace. In Jesus Name.

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day Exodus 14:13

King Jehoshaphat and his army were encompassed by the sons of Moab and Ammon. In a previous battle he had gone to support the King of Israel against the Lord’s command. But in the midst of his wrongdoings, he cried unto the Lord and he was delivered. Now in a fresh battle he cried in the house of the Lord, Yahweh’s response to him was, “You will not need to fight in this battle, stand still (position yourself) and see My salvation (2 Chronicles 20:17). How can a king just stand still and see the salvation of the Lord? To the ordinary man, this would have been deemed foolish. But the ways of God is like foolishness unto them that perish 1 Corinthians 1:18.

In Ephesians 6:14, we are told the position to take while fighting; we are to STAND (the position to take) while we put on all the armour of God. This armour speaks of what Jesus has provided for us, by His finished work. In essence, we are told to put on Jesus. 2 Corinthians 3:18; we as in a glass beholding the glory of the Lord(Jesus), we are changed into that same image(Jesus) from glory to glory. The more we behold Jesus, the more we put on Christ: the more we become Christ-like.

So beloved, in that battle, all you are required to do is position yourself and see Jesus. If the devil comes to you like a roaring lion, your reaction shouldn’t be fear, but to resist him. How does one resist satan? By standing in faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. As you see Jesus and believe His word, you resist the devil. Position yourself beloved and see salvation, healing, preservation, prosperity and increase on every side.

Prayer: Lord Jesus all I see is You. I fix my eyes on You and my life in being transformed from one level of glory to another. Amen
