Even she as the sister is not obligated to contribute to her brother's wedding. She can if she wants to, but she should not be bullied and emotionally blackmailed into doing it.
This is one of the things I hate most about a lot of Nigerian families. They don't care about your financial status or burdens, they like bullying their family members into making contributions without caring how it affects them, just because they share the same blood.

The audacity with which they gave a price tag sef. If they really needed help they could have at least said something like "anything you can help with", they just said 120k, like he sent them message or he is going to share the new wife with the brother.

The Ibos u mean, esp IMO. Ibos shld come together n amend these useless culture n evolve, or else their girls go old, lots of matured single Ibo ladies around me. You'd think d ladies would b at d fore front of d fight.

Majek was depressed. He came to Nigeria for his elder brothers burial who died mysteriously and before the whole dust could settle for him to return back to U.S he lost his dear Mother.

He overstayed in Nigeria and found it difficult to return to the U.S by the time he was able to, he has been too totally depressed and was not himself anymore.

Coupled with d fact his wife left him back in d US..

That animal is one of the Mongoose varieties native to Nigeria. These ones move in groups of between ten and twenty family members, rummaging for food in the undergrowth. In Yoruba land, these animals go by the name of OTOLO.

The mongoose family are known for their snake-killing prowess, so the death of this mongoose will likely cause one of Nairaland's esteemed moderators to pause for a moment of sober reflection about the loss of a very capable and ferocious ally, in his fight against snakes.

Very true, watched a documentary on nat geo about this animal. It attacks poisonous snakes without fear, while attacking a cobra, d snake bit it but d animal just bit off d cobras head n was eating d snake like a snack when d venom took effect. D animal went down like it was dead, after about 1hr bros got up n continued frm where it stopped like nothing happened. Very interesting animal.
@saintbillion, this animal must have been protecting u n ur chickens frm snakes, now it's out of d way, expect venomous reptiles visitation.

[quote author=CAPSLOCKED post=89890716] IF THINGS WERE LIKE THAT YOU'D STILL CLAIM GOD DID IT. WHATEVER THE OUTCOME IT'S GOD AND SOMETIMES DEVIL. RELIGION HAS THIS FIGURED OUT.

THE TRUTH IS THAT NOTHING IS INTELLIGENT ABOUT THIS DESIGN.
IS IT YOUR EYES, THE MOST FRAGILE THING IN THE WORLD? YOUR TESTICLES? A WOMAN'S REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM OR EVERYTHING ELSE IN OUR BODIES THAT POINTS OUT OBVIOUS MISTAKES IN THE HUMAN BODY SYSTEM?
LIKE I SAID ALREADY, IF WE HAD HORNS YOU'D STILL SAY WE'RE A PERFECT DESIGN. IF WE WALKED WITH OUR HEADS IT'S STILL A PERFECT DESIGN TO YOU BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS GOD, AND PERFECTLY INTELLIGENTLY DESIGNED. [/quote
] Yes, you're right, d intelligent designer shld have given man d eyes of d eagle, made of a tough material like Teflon, n tough skin like that of a crocodile, n balls made of steel. How about d lifespan of man? An intelligent creator should have given man a lifespan of thousands of yrs, right? Man would have done a better job, yet man has not been able to do anything close to d human body all thru his existence.

if you believe that God is the Uncaused First Cause, why do you dismiss the notion that the Universe itself is an Uncaused First Cause of itself?
