Romance / Re: Why I Say Nigerian Men Are Loving More Than South African Men! by Charlotte32(f): 2:15pm On Mar 12, 2017
I'm talking from personal experience as i comment on this thread. I'm South Africa who grew up in Canada and thus have been exposed to all sides of the coin. Can we stop exxeggerating on the point that Nigerian men are Messiah's of dating or courting. If you need to know the truth on Nigerian men rather ask the horse's tail- in this case, Nigerian women. Nigerian woman are threated unfairly by their men but as soon as these men leave Nigeria they idolise none Nigerian women. It is the natural behaviour of men to idolise anything foreign whilst their behaviour towards they know is less idmirable. I have dated both Nigerian and South African men and without biasness i prefer South African men. I find South African men less traditional, flexible and open to change. A trait i find appealing in modern day courting. Nothing against Nigerian men i find them less refined in terms of romantic advances. I'm just not attracted to a man who thinks the only way to be romantic is through monetary value. This does not work especially when i also make my own money. South African men tend to be creatively romantic and freakier in bed- and no woman can say no to that. In conclusion men are indivisuals- lazy ones, good ones, bad ones.
Romance / Re: What South African Girls Think About Their Boys (photo) by Charlotte32(f): 1:43pm On Mar 12, 2017
I am a South African woman who has dated outside her race and nationality; including gentlemen from Nigeria, Congo and Zambia. I can thus come to the conclusion that i do prefer South African men (both black and white). I find South African men more refined and less traditional, which makes it easier to carry on a fruitful relationship. I found that black men from outside SA tend to be very traditional to the point where you are seen as less of a partner but an inferior. A South African man has no issue to cook whilst you mind the kids, they have a deeper understanding that a relationship is about partnership and less to do with gender. I find South African men more creatively romantic; they don't conclude the way through a woman's heart is through physical cash. I find them to be freaks in bed and can never say "no" to an equally freaky woman. I would like to diminish the idea that South African men are lazy. A man is not lazy when they have fought years to make sure their worth is on par to the next person. A South African guy would not just settle for a salary; they usually know what's their worth and would never compromise that for anything. In that said; i had no issues dating Nigerian men except the fact that i prefer men who want to grow with you and less of resistant of the fact that we are not living in the stone- age times.
Politics / Re: Nigerians have killed more South Africans - Gigaba, SA Home Affairs Minister by Charlotte32(f): 10:52am On Feb 25, 2017
People outside of South Africa will not understand the real reason behind this chaos. South Africa is made up of foreign nationals from Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Congo, Somalia, Uganda, Liberia, Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt ect. But ask yourself why more Nigerians seem to be affected by these attacks when there are more Zimbabweans, Mozambicans and Somalians in SA? Is it xenophobia or are Nigerian criminals making it hard for residence of certain areas to live a safe life? Lucky Dube was killed in the area of Rosettenville in Johannesburg by none South African criminals. This area is infested with crime that rages from drugs, robberies, prostitution ect. Residents of that area that includes a residential population compromising , 20%South Africans and the rest being foreign nationals -including law abiding Nigerian. Residence of this area are sick and tired of crime; children can no longer freely use the public pools and sports grounds because of fear. Thus the community residents which include law abiding foreign nationals have taken the law into their hands and targeted properties where these dark acts are taking place. It's unfortunate that the owners of these criminals happen to be Nigerian nationals. These criminals could have been South African or from any other country and these residents could have reacted the same. So please tell me if you still feel its xenophobia when other nationalities are not being targeted. Please note that thousands of law abiding Nigerians are not even targeted, so can we still use the media propaganda and call it xenophobia? South Africans and law abiding foreign nationals in SA are just flabbergasted of crime and it is unfortunate that these acts of crime are committed by a few non- law abiding Nigerians. I'm against the community taking the law into their hands by fighting crime but the police have failed these residence. But it's really a fact that 90% of court cases listened in most of South African courts happen to be of Nigerians. It's a sad truth but I can also say there are many law abiding Nigerians who have lived in SA for over 30 years who will attest that xenophobia is just propaganda.
