Mynd44:
But you should know President Tinubu spoke about this in 2019.

It was also what he based the tax laws in Lagos on.

We as a country want development, we want to grow but government earnings is very low. Which is why our National budget is ridiculous compared to other countries.

Government has to earn more the do more, but atleast in this case, the tax is not being increased, it is a matter of bringing in those who do not pay before to start paying. This isn't a burden on those already paying
Where there are no jobs, where would the citizen earn from to pay tax?

Not really. One of T-pain's campaign promises was to widen the tax net and reduce our spending power. He is keeping to his promises. I entered Friday market this morning and came out with an almost empty bag, after spending thousands.

He really is keeping to his promises
"T-Pain" was the befitting bomb in this statement. Lol.

Just like saying "the firewood distances itself from the flames and the smoke."

This Dangote case shows you how those in the central government never want a better Nigeria unless the betterment passes through them in a lion's share...and they don't mind if the dregs go to the peasants.

The Idi Amin of Nigeria will be in the history book undoubtedly! His greed will consume him!
