Sports / Barcelona V Chelsea Preview : Insightful Analysis, Line-ups & Form Guide by cheapgoals(m): 9:36am On Mar 14, 2018
Taking a look at Wednesday’s Champions League last-16 second leg tie between Barcelona and Chelsea at the Camp Nou. The Premier League champions drew 1-1 with Barca in the first encounter, with Lionel Messi‘s late strike – his first-ever against Chelsea at the ninth attempt – offsetting Willian‘s earlier effort at Stamford Bridge.

Barcelona looked to be facing a much more difficult task back in February when they played Chelsea at Stamford Bridge than the one they have now. They went into the final 15 minutes 1-0 down, facing the prospect of having to play the second leg a goal down and without an away goal to their name. However, that man Lionel Messi popped up again with an equalizer, and now the ball is firmly in Barcelona’s court.

Football stars across Italy and Europe have stormed the city of Florence for the burial service of Davide Astori, the Fiorentina captain who was found dead in his hotel room on Sunday.

The Italian international was found hours before his team were scheduled to play Udinese in a Serie A match.

And on Thursday, his colleagues were seen touching down at the Santa Croce church in Florence ahead of the funeral service, which started at 10 am in Italy, while hundreds of thousand fans lined the city of Florence and filled the main squares some arriving sooner than required as three hours before the memorial service began.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri said earlier this week: "Now I think it's time for silence, the thought must go to the family and especially to the little daughter who will not know her father.

"Davide will always be with me. We grew up football together, it's a huge disappointment. "

Sports / Failed Investment ; PSG Spent Billions In Seven Years And Still No Semi-final by cheapgoals(m): 11:31pm On Mar 07, 2018
Paris Saint Germain suffered another untimely European exit at the hands of Spanish giants Madrid, indicating they are still far young to compete in Europe’s elite competition semi-finals.

New year, another enormous investment, and another hopeless and miserable Champions League for Le Parisien. Once again, the Ligue 1 side won’t be holding aloft the European Cup.

It’s true and genuine with an old adage that says money don’t buy you happiness and satisfaction, but the reverse is the case in the beautiful game of football, it sure can buy you Champions League and that’s all that matter for PSG.

Norman Conquest

Not just a critical bit of historical significance, Norman Conquest was also an Australian goalkeeper who played in the late 1940s. He would most likely be a name yearned for by few explorers in the present era and the first owner was posthumously inducted into Australia’s Hall of Fame. However, the goalkeeper did not attempt to invade England

John Dick

Johnny, Don’t be a dick! Well, this is extraordinarily amusing, John played more than 250 games for Arsenal during the mid 1900 ‘s. In an extremely well-known article, a daily newspaper in London printed the headline saying “ARSENAL TO PLAY TOMORROW WITH DICKS OUT“. As hilarious as it might sound, it went ahead to be a huge joke, which wasn’t forgotten for a long time!
