Hello guys, I'm filling my study permit form. In the section that states funds available for my stay. Is it funds available for a year (tuition, room and board and others) also if I have secured both a scholarship and also a willing sponsor ( who is sponsoring me in naira). Do I put both in the funds available for stay or I convert the naira to canadian dollars and add up both sources of fund. Pls I need your help.

Hi Anugoson, my sponsor gave a Six month statement of account that ends in dec 2014. I want to appl using paper route by next week? Am I ok with it ?

For those currently on a study permit in Canada, what form is the study permit; is it a paper doc or simply stamped on the passport like the TRV ?

Please guys in the house, what are the docs that should be downloaded from CIC for paper app. I saw family info form,document checklist and application for study permit. Do we also need to download application for temporary resident visa ?

Hello House, I want to ask that for paper application, are photocopies of sponsors CAC certificate and tax clearance papers adequate. He can't afford to give me the original for the period of visa review.t

Good evening guys, my proposed phd supervisor wrote a letter(with departmental letterhead) in support of my visa appl. With the heading " to whom it may concern" . I hope its cool coz it wasn't addressed to any person.

Uni of Regina guys, do acceptance letters come through email or through the post. I just noticed I have been offered PhD admission on my online portal. Awaiting the acceptance letter.

Guys, a tricky question here. If you are guaranteed a stipend from your supervisor that covers your tuition and living costs for the 4 years of your phd (first 2 years automatic and remanining 2 years based on satisfactory performances), do you still need to shoe SoA or get a sponsor ?
