pls can you help me with some list of good collages that I can apply..
This link is an almost exhaustive list of all universities and colleges in Canada according to province. Just go through the list, do your research and make your choice.

All the best.

Passport submission is free if go to same location you did your biometrics. They go charge you 28k I think if you go to another location other where you did you biometrics.
This info can be misleading. Passport submission is only free if you're submitting to where you did your biometrics AND if it's your first application since your biometrics.

If your first application was refused & the second one accepted, you must pay the #9410 package transmission fee regardless of where you submit. It doesn't make sense but it is what it is!

Yes he has submitted but the school he should think about future intake
So basically he doesn't have any admission to the school & the earliest slot he can apply to is Fall next year. By then his passport would've expired.

This is a very delicate situation. And if he applies for another program or to another school, he'd have to apply for the study permit all over. Hmmm!

He could try contacting IRCC. I'm not sure if submitting his passport to VFS is actually a great move. Maybe other gurus on the platform can chip in on this matter.

That’s not true . Nothing of such is on Cic website , on their site dey wrote atleast 6months validity and they won’t give visa more dan d validity date on a passport . Let’s say for instance ur 8mnths validity pp gets stamped d validity date on d visa wudnt be more dan d 8mnths . 3mnths to d expiry date of d pp , it’s advisable u present a new pp where new visa for d duration of ur stay wud be stamped ….
To avoid all these stress , if u can renew ur pp now den go ahead and do it , so that u can use it for ur visa processing instead .
It's on the passport request letter.

"Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada."

"Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport."

Pls my nl family
I need your help on this issue
My friend got ppr last week
An his school is Uni of Manitoba he has 3 starting date which he was not able to meet up an they don’t defer an his course is 4yrs own
My ?is now how will he do it without any new admission letter for now ? Both their January an may intake is filled up
What ca he do
Secondly his Pasport is expiring by august next year again an he has four year course to do
Pls help us out
@ I need your help all pls
He could try writing to the school. They may reconsider since he's gotten his passport request letter. On the other hand, the issue with his passport's expiry date is quite tricky. IRCC always advises students to have passports that will cover the entire duration of their study. The passport is the least of his problems for now. He should try writing to the school.

Has he submitted his passport to VFS?

Pls which school should I apply to for a master's degree(MBA/Msc) program in business or any related course in Canada without Gmat or ielt.. i've been having difficult finding schools. Biko help a brother abeggg
It may be hard to find universities to do your MSc. Why not go for colleges instead? Just go for a PGD program. There are lots of schools (colleges) you can apply to.

Amen oooo

Maybe you should order GCMS Notes to know what really going on with your application too

I think 2nd applicant processing time are always fast
Doesn't really work that way. My second application took more than 16 weeks. The first one took about 9-10 weeks. Just pray for a quick response.

Good day all. I’m new on this thread.

Do I need to evaluate my transcript with WES before applying to schools. I know most schools don’t require it but should I go ahead to evaluate it ?
Unless you're applying for Express Entry, I don't see the need.

Went to VFs this morning to check on my passport and it was not ready for pick up. Minutes after leaving, I got a mail that my application with tracking number…….. has been dispatched from IRCC Abuja office to Canada visa application Center. Does this mean my passport is ready for pickup?
Most likely. Make your mind rest small now. Lol. Though I think they're supposed to send you a message to come for pickup.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Cheebu: 6:30pm On Oct 24, 2022
For those of us who have traveled recently or those who have an idea, how much is the least amount of money are you supposed to declare to Canada Border Services Agency as settlement funds?

Someone said something about carrying little cash then presenting your Nigerian bank statement. How true is that?

Uhnmmm, congratulations . You’ve been following this thread but you registered your account just yesterday…. Congratulations again
To be fair it was after I submitted that I started following the thread. I was quite encouraged with the testimonies. I wanted to encourage others also if I got PPR. Thankfully, I did, which is why I'm here. Apologies if I offended anyone.

Please I need advice urgently. In a more clearer terms:

My name is Bukola. A friend introduced me to this platform. I earned my Bs.C. in Psychology, but with a poor grade. So, I couldn't get admission to a master's program. I decided to go for a college diploma, I have gained admission into Social Service Worker (2 years program), which is relevant to my current job (I work in the psychiatric center). Here is my concern: please can anyone advise me on how to convince the visa officer why I didn't go for a master's program? I'm afraid he might not see it as a logical progression. I mean he may question why I need a diploma after Bs.C. Please I need serious advice. Thank you in advance.

Please help me!!!
From my own situation, I don't think you need to bring up the MSc thing. Just go ahead & tell the VO why you're studying the course. I had a B.Eng in Mech. Engineering but I'm going for a PGD in Business Management. I got my PPR yesterday. Just make sure you have sufficient money to cover for the course duration. Your home ties should be very strong too. Then believe in God. You'll succeed.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Cheebu:
Good day everyone.. Been following this thread for a while. I'm just so happy that I got my PPR today after initial rejection.

Second application: 28th June
Upfront medicals: 26th July
Medicals passed: 23rd Sept
Eligibility review: 28th Sept
PPR: 21st Oct.

I must add that I had to write the MP yesterday & I got a decision today. I'm not saying he played a role but who knows? Lol

Reason for initial rejection was insufficient funds & reasons given not consistent with that of a temporary stay. I got a gift deed of N10m & tried to convince the VO in my SOP why I chose the particular course of study because it wasn't related to my current practice.

In all, I give God the glory. Those of us who are still waiting will receive good news very soon. Amen.

Don't forget to pray guys.
