Career / Re: When We Say A Toilet Cleaner Abroad Is Better Than Bank Manager In Nigeria by Cheeryfeet: 1:20pm On Sep 03
Notfogotten:
When we say a toilet cleaner in USA, Canada, UK, Australia is better than the manger of zenith bank, what we mean is that the toilet cleaner will never suffer what you are currently suffering in Nigeria.

Example include:

A. A toilet cleaner will never queue for fuel.
B. A toilet cleaner is less likely to be kidnapped in those countries
C. A toilet cleaner has 24/7 electricity.
D. A toilet cleaner has access to excellent Medicare.
E. A toilet cleaner is less likely exposed to armed robbers
F. A toilet cleaner eats better food and fruits than your bank manager.
G A toilet cleaner has access to good amenities
H. A toilet cleaner may have his children schooling for free in primary and high school
I. A toilet cleaner has a longer live expectancy than your bank manager in Nigeria.

Exactly. More than your bank manager, but not more than a business man, not more than an entrepreneur not more than one who chooses the life of freedom than security ( slavery).

Which is a fat lie , he can’t contest that Position fair and square hence the mind games

To the idiots running mouth in my mentions; if you've never lost someone dearly to you, you perhaps won't understand.
At that point, nothing interests you anymore, not even food which is a necessity let alone social media. How you are grieving and the major thing on your mind is how to post it on 2go and LinkedIn is what I don't know. You can as well monetize the death.

Bunch of attention seeking retards.

No don't see it that way. He is a public figure, and has numerous friends, colleagues acquaintances that he may need to inform. So he wouldn't have time to call or message everyone individually, but he owes it to them to let them know. So it's easier to just put it out in the social media and everyone is informed once. Give the man a break. You don't know what he is going through

This role pays me #300k net alongside data and other few allowances. But over the last couple of months more stuffs have been dump on my table without adequate compensation...

I have tried to have a conversation with the management to further review my take home to match the additional responsibilities but it's failing on deaf ears with no commitment to my request all I get is more work...

I have delayed this to accommodate the fears of friends and family but I do have another hustle that pays me in dollars that actually meets my needs so I'm thinking of leaving this Naira one to focus on that one and use my extra time to prepare for something better......

My resignation letter is ready and I will drop it after our weekly meeting tomorrow morning except a divine intervention stops me....

So my people do you have any words for me? I will that if any......

So I would like to know the hustle you are doing that pays in dollars. I am interested please.

Opposition candidate cannot win presidential election in countries like Venezuela, Uganda, Rwanda, Cameroon, Russia, china, North Korea, etc, it will always be an exercise in futility

Venezuela has the largest oil reserves on earth, estimated to be more than 300 billion barrels but the people in that country are extremely poor, venezuelans go through difficult journey to enter USA through the southern border while their president and his cronies live lavishly

Nicolas Maduro has nothing to offer his people, winning the third term can only be possible through rigging.

This is a Case of kettle calling pot black. In your list you forgot to mention your country.

Business / Re: How Do I Stop This Bad Habit? by Cheeryfeet: 5:13pm On Jul 04
AbokiWam:
My Salary is a little above #100, 000 naira, My friends know I am working which brings enormous pressure on me, They think it is a high paying job because of the Corporate dressing and all.

I don't Know if it is the hardship from this era, but now 4 out of every phone calls someone receives is usually them asking you to lend them money. Currently self I am skeptical of answering phone calls. Work Colleagues also do not spare you in this regard.

My problem now is I am too soft hearted, Any small story and I am already heading to my bank app to do transfer for,

Beginning of June, money I lent to a total number of 7 different people was running into almost 60,000 naira.
At the start of July, Only two people have paid me back (5000 & 4000)

Because of that I promised myself not to lend anyone money again from my salary, but Just this morning I got a call from someone I know , he was crying to me of his salary being delayed at work.
He pleaded with me to lend him #10,000 which I obliged, Knowing fully well I wont get my money back (He has borrowed 8k from me before without paying back)

I think something is wrong with me, I can even go to loan app to borrow and gift a friend if I don't Have

Same borrowing habit almost ruined my Dad, it destroyed his friendship with a close pal, he borrowed his friend #800,000 back IN 2011 when money still had value, the friend refused paying and that crumbled his business for a while.

My Mom have warned me if I continue, I might experience same.

I really need to change...
If every one should pay me money they have owed me, I would be able to buy honda baby boy
This is a bad habit I need to stop.

Bro I guess you are not married. Ince you marry, make your wife your finance manager. Anybody wey call you, tell her to call madam, she is your account officer. Even though your money is sitting in your own access . 95% won't call her

N155 billion to be wasted again for sharing of Foodstuffs across Nigeria is another way to squander and misappropriate money...

Instead, the govt can let everyone have access to the border to bring a lot of food into the country...

within 2 months food prices will be crashed nationwide.

I don't understand you people, every time open border open border, open border means import, which will also put pressure on our currency. Why don't we produce food here, we have the capacity to feed not just ourselves but neighbouring countries. What are we opening the border for? Government can invest heavily in Agriculture and livestock, the amount of money spent on buying SUVs for legislators can be used to open large scale industry and factories. Opening border is not the solution. Let's close the borders but do the internal work. It takes will, intentionality and courage

Imagine praying for Nepa to bring light.
Praying so your car won't spoil due to bad roads
Praying to get a job
Praying not to get kidnapped
Praying so you don't fall sick coz you know our health system is messed up and only the rich can afford quality health services
Praying so a lecturer won't put you eye and fail you deliberately simply coz you refuse to spread your legs for him
Imagine many more things we pray for and immediately you get abroad, you discover these things are available in their abundance, even if na u, will u still be prayerful?

You know eh, this prayers you mentioned and many more are the root cause of shallow Christianity. These are all self centered prayers as if God only exist to do those things for men. Prayer is beyond that, there are deeper dimensions of prayer.
1: That I may know him ( Jesus)
2: That I may become like him
3: Transform me to become a better man
4: Praying for men and women to be fre from satanic powers.
And many more. There is a transformative power of the gospel. Until the Nigerian church discovers that and preachers it, our journey will be far.

Iykegodslove:
Good day everyone!! I am emotionally shattered as I type this message. I have been suspecting my wife for years now but no concrete evidence to confront her.

There is a boss of my mine who happens to be our family friend. Each time he calls my wife, she deletes the call history immediately. This has been happening for years but I keep quite because i love my wife and my children so much.

Of recent, i decided to know what is happening by hacking her call with him. Lo and behold, they are into deep relationship that my wife calls him baby. Infact, sleep has gone out of my eyes and am thinking of how to deal with the situation.

It should be noted that i am not working under the man in question only that we are church members and he has rendered countless of help to me. I am wondering what puts my wife into this mess. I am graduate but i decided not to work for anybody but to focus on my farming. I am doing well financially bcs i can boost of 500k or more every month. We are not lacking anything at all.

Please house ignore my typo and help with good advice.

Note: i dnt want to divorce my wife and am ready to forgive her bcs she has been of great help to my success and moreover, i love my family very well. What should i do to stop them?

First please let me know the farming you do that you earn 500k monthly.

Second don't confront her since you still love her, PRAY for her and ask God to put division between her and the man. But pray for your self to be able to forgive her and your own emotional healing. Since you love her that much, there's hope to salvage her and for the sake of the children. Don't bring in a third party unless that person is someone that will pray with you or help in your emotional healing. Maybour father in heaven help you and strengthen you

So, I received a good amount of money into my first bank account.

And they automatically freeze the account.

Something less than 100k.

So, I went to the bank to find out what the issue was about and they said I need to do KYC documentation.

My NIN and BVN are already with this people and I've been using this same account since 2015!

Ok, let me do the KYC na, they say my name doesn't match and I need to swear affidavit.

I went to court to do affidavit and then they submitted it and ask me to come back next week Wednesday.

The thing sha weak me because I no get any money to sustain myself till that Wednesday.

But the worst is the utility bill requirements. The support ask me to come with NEPA bill. I told her that I stay in the university hostel.

The next thing she said was that I should go to the university management and collect their NEPA bill and bring it to them shocked

I was like how in hell will that be possible? 🤷

Right now, I don't know what step to take sha. Because who for school management go gree give student school NEPA bill to go complete the student's bank account?

Tell them you don't want to do again. You want to close the account. If they don't agree, make a scene, ask for manager on top of your voice, remove your shirt, they will attend to you fast
