Yesterday it was PricewaterhouseCoopers forecasting gloomy days ahead.
Now it's KPMG picking holes in the notorious Tax Law.
These are reputable Tax and Financial Advisors.

This is a Survivalist Battle.
Someone must win!

What Wike is doing now is to push Fubara out, he understands that the more he stays in office, having access to state funds, he's bound to build structures within and outside Rivers State.
With these structures and support in APC NWC, his second tenure will be assured.

If he stays in office till APC Guber Primary, he will work with the NWC of APC to cliche the ticket and that marks the end of Wike.

You're correct (about no involuntary manslaughter) if you're speaking entirely about Nigerian law. In other countries like the UK, US, Canada, Australia and so on, involuntary manslaughter is fully recognized. Also, just to correct some impression, while involuntary manslaughter is covered inside "manslaughter" in Nigeria, demonstrating that it's involuntary will contribute towards reducing the person's sentence, from the maximum end of the punishment to the lower end of the punishment, based on the judge's discretion.

In the western world, there's what they call First Degree Murder, Second Degree Murder etc.
We don't have it in our laws here - it's either Murder or Manslaughter.
Like I mentioned earlier, some circumstances can reduce Murder to Manslaughter.
Things like Provocation, Self Defense, Affray etc.

When you punch someone and your punch kills them, that's manslaughter. You didn't plan to kill them but you did. In his case, it's involuntary because he could've also died, he couldn't have intended to kill himself unless otherwise proven, he was being reckless with everyone's life including his, so I'd say involuntary.

With your semantics, you're correct.
But in law, there's nothing like Involuntary Manslaughter. Every killing falls under either Murder or Manslaughter except Suicide.
Deaths resulting from motor accidents - maybe due to reckless driving, tyre burst, brake failure etc are treated as Manslaughter.
Even if a pedestrian crossing carelessly was knocked down and he/she dies, the drive will still be changed for manslaughter.
Voluntary Manslaughter is simply Murder!

I'm not a fan of this Makinde, but guy looks like a strong person, otherwise enemies and opposition groups would have infiltrated his govt and destroy it like others.
Especially being like a lone voice in South West opposition challenging Wike and Tinubu.
He has succeeded to tame the state assembly.

Bianca was nominated by Guvnor Soludo who is working with Tinubu.
Soludo remains APGA topmost leader and he's in alliance with Tinubu.
Bianca has not worked against APGA and there are no cases in court.

Buhari remains a monumental disapointment to me.
Because of my unwaivering support for him prior to 2015 elections, I was bullied, insulted, yet the insult increased as his cluelessness begins to manifest from day one of his presidency - not knowing who to appoint as a cabinet member.
In my church, where GEJ worshiped in Maitama, some of us who felt we've had enough of PDP's recklessness we're called names.
I'm sure Nigeria can never have a failure like Buhari in office as president.
