He has an eye on cementing his place in history as a progressive and reformational President of the biggest black nation on Earth.

Meaning he is open to engaging with allies from any nation, in any continent, that can be a strategic and productive partner to Nigeria.

I don't have the intellect of PBAT but even I see why the USA, in today's world, cannot be a nation Nigeria will fawningly court to the point or receiving insult from Trump.

We have options and, the more we become net exporters of the refined derivatives of crude oil, the more our independent global influence and power increases like Saudi Arabia, meaning our President won't ever be in Zelensky's shoes.
