Christianity Etc › Re: This Verses In The Bible Shows Jesus Was Not Crucified by chibboy: 8:57am On May 20, 2017 |
hushpapi: Have you ever ask yourself this question, that why is Easter celebration always Sunday? Am very sure if your birthday last year date happened to be Sunday, it can not be Sunday this year. But Easter is fixed.
The only bible on the surface on the earth that has the word Easter in it, is the King James Version of the bible. Acts12:1-4. history tells us that the name “Easter” comes from the Anglo-Saxon, Eostre, the name of the goddess of spring. Bunnies are symbols of fertility, while eggs were seen as pagan symbols of death and life.
It's said Jesus was crucified on Friday in the afternoon and resurrect on Sunday morning. But here is another verse that tackled that in the bible. Read carefully and ask yourself what is the miracle of prophet Jonah?
Miracle: A miracle is an event not explicable by natural or scientific laws.
Mathew 12:39.He answered, "A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given except the miracle of the prophet Jonah.
Mathew 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Brief story on prophet Jonah they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea alive)and the sea ceased from her raging. Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD.
Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah(alive). And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights(alive)
Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly (alive)
From this story you know the miracle of prophet Jonah is he was alive . He didn't die in the belly of the big fish for three days and three night. Jesus was crucified on Friday afternoon, from that Friday afternoon to Saturday morning is one night, the Friday was not a complete day. Then from Saturday to Sunday morning is a whole day and another night. We have two night and one day. This is not what Jesus said. The nights and days are meant to be three days and three nights.
But Jesus said :Mathew 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
If you are celebrating a day like this, it is not part of the teaching of Jesus. Is 100% idol worship
Please feel free to share more light to this because we all know Jesus was not the first sent down to deliver God message. Abraham, Moses, Noah, Jonah, Solomon, David,Daniel all came with their own books passing the same message that God is one. How come is only Jesus that was captured just like that by the Jews. The book of Luke:4:10-11. For it is written: "'He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'" is like u use to smoke igbo.. |

keyboardwarwar: Hallelujah!!! dear people of nairaland join me thanks my God 4 me.i finished sec. sch. in the year 2012.That was the first time i tried out Jamb examination, then it was a paper base test[with fresh brain, out from the secondary school,as usual i was expected to pass the examination].But when the result came out it was a misery one. As i, score a total marks of 84 with chemistry missing[it come be like say them come dey follow me from my village] . but i didn't lose hope! as i proceed to studies OND in computer Engineering and Advance Diploma in Software Engineeering @Lagos.[but as expected my mama used the jamb result to torment my life any time i bleep up or anytime i mention something about university degree.] to cut the long story short! i decided to try out this year jamb examination, but to be sincere! i was so afraid as i have been out of touch with CHEMISTRY,PHYSICS more especially MATHEMATICS so how am i going to pass this examination?. I sold my precious phone[as i didn't have money] just to purchased the jamb pin @ the officially closing day of the registration. Fast forward! i was given monday 15 of may as my examination day.Money to get to the examination centre was another wahala but miraculously the money came,i was checked, got into the examination hall ushered to my exam's system and instruction was given for all the examiners to logged in.I logged in! my time Began to ticked, my heart too began to Beat faster like a Yoruba talking drum. Where will i start??[That was the question i ask myself cos by this time i didn't know anythings in PHYSICS,MATHEMATICS and CHEMISTRY as English was my only hope]. And the security was so tight! cctv cameras everywhere at the corners of the hall.Fast forward i began to tick my answers on english,i spent like 1hr 30mins to answer questions mainly on English and i,used the remaining 30mins to ticks answers RANDOMLY on CHEMISTRY,PHYSICS and MATHS [i ticks some answers A,some B some C some D and i will begins ticking from D,C,B,A again all, ignorantly].MY time remaining 3mins to go i pressed S,i said a short prayer of helps from above before pressing another S which means i have submitted my exam, but was not happy at all.
Inside a Bus on my way back home! i overheard a guy said to his friend on phone if his result is not favourable he knew a man who can upgrade his result with a sum of #30,000.I was tempted to make enquiring about this said man. But when i remember that i,didn't have any penny i just kept quiet and said the following prayers.
"Lord Jesus if someone can take a bribe to upgrade someone's result.Lord please take all the Glorys and upgrade my result- Amen".
Surprising when my result came out this is what i score!.....i'm so much happy considering the level of my preparation i, have been away from CHEMISTRY,MATHS,PHYSICS for over 5years nows. o boy i guess you confused the computer |

BlazingAyomikun: Hahaha...... Yeah, you can say that for as many times as you want if it'll make you feel better by convincing your cretinous, hollow self that your father isn't the most incredible mor0n in this galaxy. You son of a tadpole in human body. There is no cosmic rivalry to your stvpidity.
It's your kind who opens his reeking mouth to insult his teachers over the lack of improvement on his pathetic life that has been inverted and effectively frozen in that cataclysmic condition. But is it their fault? Your destiny is so broken that even the greatest efforts by the most expert and talented teachers, pedagogues, seers, prophets and "destiny repairers" (who exist solely for your kind) can never fix it.
That's why you've mutated into a wandering animal and everlasting vagabond whose only means of deriving meaning from life is attacking his betters. Your shattered destiny is causing you so much harm that even your ONLY means of making something out of your wretched life is still eluding you, since you're doing a very terrible job at it, you headless, brainless, mindless, clueless retar'd.
You had better go back to your roots, motherfucker. The spirits of the scorpions, serpents and alligators your mother banged in her youth for less than a penny are still haunting you and making your life the true candidate for defining misery, you analphabetic moro'n.
If your father had invested his efforts and money in planting yam tubers, he certainly would have yielded more returns than he did from investing in your education, and he wouldn't be wearing the expression of permanent pain and anguish he does that makes his face perfect for teaching first grade pupils what is meant by "eternal grimace".
My mother wouldn't go unclad to secure my future because she's an intelligent, honorable woman who knows of better ways to go about it, unlike yours who's a dirty, shameless, mannerless village idio't. Bastard half-cast fertilized by a sperm cell with the slowest flagella and breastfed with a rotten boob secreting sour milk. You deem yourself worthy of giving me a response? WHO ARE YOU? A malnourished, angry, aggressive, aimless nonentity, made out of a deformed, imprecated, putrified foetus, mentally punctured by a billion penïses, after forming from an anathemized pool of a gazillion semen. You don't pack a punch, dummy. Go play in the traffic. did you read what you just wrote?. bcause d time you took before replying was like eternity.. hey, did you run accross d mainroad to get a baaad reply from dat your friend oh, sorry maybe i should just mind my business but it doesnt marra who wrote dis for u i can understand that u r incapacitated.. but atleast i am sure your parents had always told you to always crosscheck or read through anything d typist typed for you before printing.. poor boy.. am sure u forgot. coz if u did, you would have realized that everything witten here by whoever it was that helped you write is uncoordinated and phraseless.. i guess whoever wrote it knows u very well.. that you are not coordinated and properly uneducated .. so they knew you would never read thru it or even fathom that they were making a fool of you.. poor you.. even your neighbours are mocking u.. you r lucky to get a reply.. maybe i am too kind.. i really do pity for you.. did i hear you talk about punch?.. naaa ! am sure i didnt hear well.. |

Why didn't you tell us, so that we can advise your mum to join in the stupidit'y in order to secure her child's future? To fight for justice? Politics › Re: Nigeria Can’t Progress Under Current Political System – Tinubu, Bozimo by chibboy: 5:59pm On May 18, 2017 |
sarrki: Fidelis Soriwei, Eniola Akinkuotu and Ted Odogwu
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and a former Minister of Police Affairs, Chief Broderick Bozimo, have said Nigeria cannot progress under the current political system which operates like a military unitary system.
The former governor of Lagos State said this at the 91st anniversary of Daily Times newspaper and the Times Heroes awards in Abuja on Tuesday, while Bozimo stated this while speaking with journalists during the 90th birthday celebration of a former Federal Commissioner, Chief Edwin Clark.
.Tinubu, who was represented by Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State, said Nigeria was only a federation in name but was a unitary state in practice.
He said, “Let us streamline governance; federalism in word and deed. Our constitution declares Nigeria a federation of 36 states however we still grapple with the vestiges of our past under the military rule. In any case, we still function like a unitary state despite the constitution. More power and resources need to devolve to the states.
“The Federal Government is taking on too much. We cannot flourish with over-concentration of powers at the centre. Some of the 68 items on the exclusive federal list should be transferred to the residual list as it was in most federal constitutions.
“In the 1963 Constitution, there were extensive powers granted to regions which allowed them to carry out their immense responsibility as they then saw fit.”
Tinubu said Nigeria’s unitary political system only offered a deceptive and fake economic prosperity which was exposed when the oil price slumped.
He said even if the current recession end, the prosperity that would follow would be short-lived except structural changes were made.
He added, “The fall in oil prices exposed this economic model for the life that it was. Now, we must fashion a new political economy. In due course, the current recession will end. This should come as a relief. In itself however, it is not a cause for celebration, far from it. The end of recession does not mean the beginning of prosperity.”
The APC chieftain said some items which ordinarily should be state matters like police, prisons, stamp duty, taxation of incomes, profits and capital gains, registration of businesses, incorporation of companies, traffic on Federal Government roads passing through states, trade, commerce among others were transferred from the concurrent to the exclusive list.
He said this was at variance with the true spirit of federalism, describing the current unitary system as a ‘monster.’
Tinubu added, “Regarding electrical power we must move beyond limiting states to generate, transmit and distribute electricity to areas not covered by the national grid. Our problem is lack of power yet we preclude states from helping to resolve the chronic problem that stands at the very heart of economic development.
“It is not right to say states can generate power but cannot sell it where they want. Without yielding any contravening benefits, these policies suppresses the generation of needed power.”
Also speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Daily Times, Mr. Fidelis Anosike, said the ceremony was put together to reward and encourage excellence in Nigeria.
He said the newspaper would re-establish itself as a profitable media conglomerate with the potential of contributing to Nigeria’s GDP.
Some notable Nigerians who received awards include President Muhammadu Buhari; former President Goodluck Jonathan, the Chairman of United Bank of Africa, Tony Elumelu; Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, his Anambra State counterpart, Governor Willie Obiano; and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
Others include Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock; the Chairman, First Bank of Nigeria, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika and actor, Pete Edochie.
Bozimo, who is the Chairman of the Clark’s 90th birthday committee said that the committee would organise a national discourse with the theme ‘Restructuring, True Federalism, and Resource Control: Panacea for Enduring Peace and Sustainable Development in Nigeria’ on May 25, 2017.
He said that it was important that Clark’s 90 birthday celebration was marked with a crucial discussion on restructuring and resource control which he devoted a greater part of his life to.
He said, “It is obvious. It is the subject matter that is relevant and prevalent in Nigeria today. It is virtually crucial. You know, the chief has been on the vanguard of that struggle virtually all his life.
“Therefore, I think it is befitting and appropriate that when you celebrate his 90 years on earth, that subject will feature and it will be for me the spirit that will move this celebration.”

Politics › Re: Has The Acting President Started Acting Or Is He Just Coordinating? by chibboy: 5:42pm On May 18, 2017 |
tonychristopher: Maybe the issue of vice president Yemi Osibanjo as the ‘coordinator’ of government affairs is yet to be rested, as the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed says they are not sure who will sign the 2017 budget.
Before President Buhari left the country on March 7th to seek medical attention in London, he transferred power to his vice. However the letter is still a subject of controversy.
Lai who spoke to state house correspondents after Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council meeting said that the decision on who signs the Appropriation Bill into law would be decided when the document is finally transmitted to the Presidency.
“When it is transmitted to the Presidency, that decision will be taken”, he said.
He, however, said that an advanced copy of the budget has been received by the Minister of Budget and National Planning. Already Nigerians have begun to rejoice about the passing of the budget. This news will dampen the excitement.
Although, one wonders how an acting president will ignore the signing of the budget that will help the economy that is recovering from a recession.
The fact that the acting president has also not sworn in two ministers, Stephen Ocheni and Suleiman Hassan that have been confirmed by the senate two weeks ago will further raise concern about how far Osibanjo is willing to act.
So far the acting president has held two federal executive council meetings, received some security reports and has visited a few states but the weightier issues of budget signing and swearing in of the ministers remain pending. Although it must be noted that this time around the acting president’s activities seem more mellow compared to his other outings during his previous stint as acting president.
http://etimes.com.ng/has-the-acting-president-started-acting-or-is-he-just-coordinating/ leave nigeria alone. just focus on making it in life o whether he act or he conduct e doesnt add one naia to your table.. the budget is not for u .. its for heir sharing money o.. comot face and no worry yasef.. |
