The Formal positions in football are defenders, midfielders and forwards. You must belong to one group. A winger is just a general term for anyone who plays at the flanks. It can left/right midfielder in a 4 or 5 man midfielder, or as a Left/attacking midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 or as a left wing forward in a 4-3-3 formation. I don't know why you fail to understand simple things. Una go dey watch football nothing una fit sabi.

Barcelona over the years have used 4-3-3 4-4-2 and 3-4-3 and this systems there is no position for an attacking midfielder. You end up as a wide midfielder like Hazard and Iniesta were in thier early career or you play as a supporting striker in a 2 man attack.
Saying Barca doesn't play ss is like saying barca doesn't use 4-4-2 at all.

Cruyff was the captain of the Ajax team that won the European cup three times in the seventies. When he became the coach of Barcelona,he went back to take the Ajax blueprint and imposed it on a floundering Barcelona team. Even Guardiola who is a disciple of Cruyff system of play can never deny the influence of the Ajax on the way he sets up his team's to play.
I repeat,whatever system Barca are playing today is based on the Ajax/Dutch total football system from the 1970's.

Baca were never known for the passing game until recently
What Baca plays is a Spanish revision of that total football style called tiki taka
I first saw this style played by some Spanish teams in early 2000's eg: alavas of the 2001 Uefa cup, Valencia (Mendietta etc)

It evolved within the Spanish league, not Baca's invention

nah, I read a lot , I read Cruyff's book , and I watched some of his videos where he analysed some sh*t . The dude was a genius , the way he talks , and addresses stuff . Barcelona were lucky , he had lots of problems with his coach then rinus , rinus was also a genius . Cruyff learnt a lot from him , but Cruyff perfected total football in Barca . That was where modern football began .
